Marsh looked a little confused "uh are you asking about my domains or...something else?"
Offline
"Uh, yeah those domains. What do you do?"
Offline
"Oh well I mostly grant the dead's final wishes. When people don't cross over to the underworld, they're usually held back due to some kind of unfinished business or last wish, my job is to help them fulfill their final wish and get them to the underworld. Kinda like a grim reaper! I can also read people's memories, it helps me know just exactly what my client's want when they tell me their wish." From the way he talked about what he does, it's clear Marsh really is treating deity-hood like a job.

Cuthwolf looked confused once more, "Can't they just wish to be alive again?"
Offline
Marsh chuckled "Yeah a few of them have tried that, unfortunately life isn't something I'm able to gift. A death God, reviving people..." He chuckled again as if it was a funny joke, "that's not gonna be a thing. Though sometimes I wish I could..."
Offline
"Oh... that sucks." Cuthwolf looked away for a bit a if disappointed and a bit down, but then perked back up once more, "Can we go eat something now? I'm hungry!"
Offline
"Of course, what do you want? Though I guess Time does have a point, no ordering like ten cakes or however much cakes people eat on the regular." Narrator Marsh has failed to mention that since Marsh doesn't need to eat, she's naturally forgotten what is the normal amount of food people are supposed to consume. What the narrator is saying is, Marsh has no idea what kinds of food to offer.
Offline
"Ten cakes??" Cuthwolf exclaimed, "You eat ten cakes on the norm?"
Offline
"I actually don't eat on the norm," Marsh replied, as bluntly honest as always, "I just took a guess because I didn't know what the norm is.."
Offline
"But that means you eat 10 cakes when you want to eat cake, don't you?" Cuthwolf asked.
Offline
The question made Marsh stop and think, "well I mean that is sound logic.. and the I did eat ten cakes in a row that one time I had a mental breakdown... yes I suppose?"
Offline
Time frowned, "That's a lot of cake. You good?"
Cuthwolf was thinking about how amazing it might be to eat cakes.

"Ah well, when you've lived as long as me, mental breakdowns do happen quite frequently," Marsh said, brushing it off, "I'm used to it. Ahem so anyways, does the kid have a favorite food or perhaps, would you guys like to try something different and out of the norm? I'm sure I can find something. Does the modern district have a main delicacy? I don't eat enough to know these things.."
Offline
Time wasn't really surprised with that answer. It's kinda a common one with deities he knew.
"Well, the kid likes meat. And dessert. And that's it." Time said.
"Ooh ooh! Meat!" Cuthwolf exclaimed, "I love meat!"
Offline
"Meat? I'm pretty sure there's a steakhouse nearby, though that was a few decades ago so I don't know if it's still there... ah well it wouldn't hurt to go check." She shrugged, standing up. Marsh used to know this city inside and out, but now everything is a bit more unfamiliar. It's weird being in a place you used to know like the back of your hand and realize you have absolutely no idea where you are.
Offline
Time shrugged, "I guess. I don't mind." He stood up.
Cuthwolf cheered, pumping his hands into the air as he stood up

Marsh smiled, seeing Cuthwolf's reaction. She tossed her now empty coffee cup (it was one of those recyclable paper ones) and paused in front of the door on her way out to make sure they were following.
(Cuthwolf: *exists
Marsh: YOU, YES YOU, I WILL SPOIL YOU SO MUCH YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU CUTE LIL SMOL BABY)

Time and Cuthwolf were indeed following
((He's already so spoiled))

Marsh took a set of keys out of their pocket, car keys to be specific. Their car was conveniently parked right outside the coffee shop. With the click of a button, the car beeped twice before the doors unlocked. "Get in, driving will be a lot faster than trying to walk all the way over there." Marsh said, already getting into the drivers seat.

Time rose a brow, "You drive to places?" He examined the car.
Cuthwolf at the moment was standing by Time.

"I've lived for centuries, of course I know how to drive." Marsh said matter-of-factly, "I'm not a fancy deity like Galaxian who can just teleport everywhere you know."
Offline
"Well, I'm a little bit of a fancy deity, and I walk wayy more often than driving, but I don't mind." He popped into the passengers seat.
Cuthwolf hopped into the back, "I have not been in very many cars!" He said from his seat.
Offline
"..you sure the kid should be back there alone?" Marsh asked Time, glancing back at the Cuthwolf.
Offline
"I do not see why not." Time said, looking behind to Cuthwolf, "I can see him from the back, and he knows how to buckle a seatbelt."
Offline
"Right, if you say so.." Marsh started the car and drove out onto the streets. He was quiet, unsure of what to say.
Offline
"Are you mortal born or just came into fruition or whatnot?" Time asked after a few moments of silence between everyone.
Offline
"I don't know," Marsh replied simply, "nor do I care."
Offline
"Mhm. Fun" Time nods.

Marsh has gone quiet again, after a few more turns and red lights she stops in front of a fancy looking restaurants, one of those big ones with multiple rooms for private business meetings and whatnot. "Right, we're here. Thank cods for rich people's abilities to keep a restaurants up for literal decades. It's been what, fifty years since I've been back here?" she sighs, opening the car door and getting out.
Offline
Time exited as well, "I wasn't expecting a place like this. I was expecting something... more casual."
Cuthwolf stared up at the restaurant in awe.
