I don't know if I relate to Hajime that much but idk what I would even be like if I had to be the protagonist in a killing game.
I definitely wouldn't act like Makoto. Makoto was...ok...and kinda cliché, but there's no way I'd act like him in his situation lol.

He got too obsessed over it though. It led to his downfall. There were others who tried to make him understand that talent wasn't everything (likE CHISA) and he still was stubborn.

I just relate to him so hard and nearly cried during the final game trial because of his voice acting so-

Makoto is literally a baby but he also was pretty smart if he was able to survive

Hajime was done with everyone's crap most of the time and honestly, same

Kaede was really nice and wanted everyone to live

Shuichi felt guilt for having to do it but also understood that he needed to get everyone through the trials

Tbh if I was the protag, I would cry a lot

Yeah Hajime was probably more relatable if you compare him to Makoto
Kaede,,,I think most of the fanbase loves Kaede. I do too xD especially since she's a pianist, and I relate to her attitude except that I wouldn't be that calm in a killing game. But I relate to her the most from all the protagonists.

I mean it's not really that you directly remind me of him, but in a possible situation like the one we mentioned earlier, I think you (or at least your online personality) would be similar to him.

Yeah and they're all like crazy smart idk I've always thought they were around 16-18 though xD 15 seems very young to me but people normally start high school at that age.
I wonder how old Kokichi is. I always thought he was 16 because he's short lol

The thing is that when he's speaking in a kinda inspirational way, he quickly goes back to his nonsensical and playful and childish attitude so you can't really tell what he's thinking xD

He was able to lead, hence him being the Ultimate Supreme Leader, and actually be likeable (his "organization" was literally made up of his close friends, the dude had to be likeable to some degree and able to be nice) but he also knew how to be childish and kinda a comic relief

In the end the thing is that nobody's really sure of what his true character is, right?
He lies so much and acts so much that it's almost impossible to tell his truth from his lies.

I believe his true personality was more like the innocent childish one he sometimes exhibited, and everything else was just an act. But this is my personal thoughts lol idk what your impression of him is.
I also think he might have had mythomania and that it wasn't just a quirk, though of course he did exaggerate his own behavior at times.
