To start out with, it's a nice day. The sun is out, occasionally hiding behind clouds. There is a nice breeze, and here are birds chirping happily.

And there is a teenager swinging around in a tree, being a weirdo as they spook random strangers passing by.

Secondly, the setting is a park, mostly because the Narrator is horrible at narrating and is very uncreative. But, there is most definitely a good amount of people for Silence to startle from above.

Chronos was wandering around. Well, wandering as best she could in a wheelchair. Like usual, Stella was there as well. Currently the girl was in her wolf form, jumping around in the grass and chasing butterflies like a puppy. Neither had noticed Silence quite yet.

Well, Silence definitely noticed them. The mischievous demigod decided for the two to get close enough to spook them, giggling somewhat loudly and uncontrollably. They were well hidden behind the leaves of the tree.

Stella, being the super-hearing demon she is, immediately heard Silence. She stopped and looked around, trying to pinpoint the location from which the noise had come from.

Chronos noticed Stella's behavior and started looking around as well. "Hello?" she called out.

Silence stopped their giggling for a moment, finally dropping a rock onto the concrete to grab the two's attention to their direction. They wanted to lure Chronos and Stella over.

Chronos turned her wheelchair around to the source of the sound. Stella silently moved towards the tree, finally locating Silence, and pounced on them. Not biting or anything, just pouncing and pinning them.

Silence wasn't expecting it, honestly, so both them and Stella crashed to the ground with Stella successfully pinning Silence down.

They didn't struggle, but instead grinned.

"Daaaang, ya caught me! That's totally bad, right? I thought I was hidin' pretty well!"

Stella looked at the person she was now standing on top of. She made a short bark, then got off Silence. She sat down, and her tail thumped on the ground a few times, a sign she didn't think this new person was dangerous.

Silence grinned and sat up, holding their hand out to Stella.

"Ohhh my gods, such a cute puppy! What breed are they?" Silence asked Chronos, scooting a bit closer to Stella. They definitely don't realize that Stella is a wolf.

Stella sniffed Silence's hand, then licked it a bit. Normally this would be weird considering she can also become a person, but since she was originally a wolf it's fine.

Chronos blinked a few times. "Stella's not a dog." she said after a few seconds.

They continued to pet Stella a bit before saying, "My name's Silence! No last name, just Silence! Now I guess you have to say yours!"

Chronos couldn't tell who Silence was referring to, so she just introduced herself. "I'm Chronos. That's Stella. She doesn't talk that much."

"Wait, huuh? Stella can talk? Or do you mean the barkin'?"

In response Stella morphed into a little girl right in front of Silence. Now it looked like they were patting her on the head.

Silence retracted their hand, surprised.

They had an amazed ":0" look on their face.

Chronos moved forward a bit. "Be, uh, careful. She's sensitive to loud noises."

"Ohh, whoops, sorry." Silence quieted themself. They looked up to Chronos and asked, "Can you do that too?"

Chronos rubbed the back of her neck. "With spells I can, yeah, but it's not an ability I was born with. Stella's like that, too. She has a necklace that lets her shapeshift."

Stella's hand slipped under her oversized scarf as if to check if said necklace was still there.
