"Ah, okay. But it isn't good to put on clothes while still being wet," informs the cyber agent.
Offline
"It's not like I'm soaking wet!"
Offline
"Well, you're still wetter than the usual extent..." Rai goes. He stops typing for a bit to get up and look around the room, quite plainly looking a bit detached from the real world.
Offline
Dion finished folding up his sleeve, and since right then he didn't feel like asking for help with the other, he picked up the jacket.
"It's just a bit of moisture," he mumbled.
Offline
"Hmm, well, I guess increased risk for acne isn't that big of a deal." Rai stretches a bit.
Offline
"I said it's just a bit!" This time, Dion turned his head to stare at Rai while he spoke.
Offline
"I know. So, just a bit of increased acne risk, then." It's really hard to tell if Rai's being genuinely chill or joking.
Offline
The only answer this time was a short huff.
Dion folded up his new jacket.
Offline
Rai's smirking again. No surprise there.
He resumes typing. It's kind of funny how his fingers can go from not moving at all to a whirlwind of typing.
Offline
Dion continued standing, looking away from Rai in silence for a while.
Then, "Did you buy these?"
Offline
"No, I shoplifted 'em after I went around the city to pinpoint the most morally questionable shop owner I could find," comes the ultra-passive response.
Offline
"Probably served him right," was the unconcerned reply. "The shirt looks really good."
Offline
Wow, what a True Neutral.
"Well, I'm sure he would say thank you, but he's probably more ticked off at the moment than grateful," comes the response.
Offline
"I don't think I want his thanks."
Dion sat on the bed. From there, he began to smooth out his newly cut hair while looking at Rai.
"What are you doing?"
Offline
"Doing work for someone else." Rai doesn't look up.
Offline
"Oh. So you're busy?"
Dion looked around for a comb.
Offline
"Comb's probably in the bathroom, last I checked," Rai says without looking up. Creepy. "Also, I guess I'm busy. It's quite unfortunate, actually."
Offline
Dion stared at him for the span of exactly five seconds.
"Okay, I'll get it. Just continue working and pretend I'm not here."
That wasn't an angry phrase, cause what Dion really meant was that he wanted Rai to focus on his work.
Well, he headed back to the bathroom.
Offline
"Right, 'cause you're not here," comes the vaguely humorous response. "You're headed to the bathroom to get the comb."
The comb's where he left it. Rai takes care to separate their hair brushes or combs. The narrator actually doesn't know which type Rai uses.
Offline
"Well I'm returning too!" He called out from the other room.
Offline
"That's okay. I can watch you comb your beautiful hair." A pause. "No, wait. That's not the right type of joke. Sorry."
His quiet voice sure carries far.
Offline
...silence.
Dion blushed silently at what he felt was a compliment.
A small flat comb was chosen for the return to the bedroom.
Offline
(Thank the gods there's no actual GGaD fandom version who-knows-what)
Rai's still there typing. Sorry. Not much else difference. This time, Dion isn't greeted with the other staring at him. That's a good thing.
Apologies for Rai not doing too much out of the ordinary, but at least it could be said he's a hard worker despite his somewhat lazy demeanor. Or at least he seems like one? He hasn't been caught doing something else at least. It's hard to tell if he's never doing something else or just keeps it secret. Maybe it's better to presume the better.
Offline
((I'm choking xDDD))
Yeah, that's good for Dion.
He hopped onto the bed again. At last, he folded up his right sleeve so both sides of his shirt were the same. Then he began to comb his hair without paying much attention to what he was doing.
Who knows how Dion washed his hair this time, but it looked more like a dark golden hue than its normal yellowy color. All traces of the green dye were gone too.
Offline
"Will you need hair dye at some point in the near future?" asks Rai.
Offline
"What? Me?" Dion left the comb stuck on his hair as he looked up. "Yes? Yeah, I'll need some dye. Do you know how to dye hair?"
Offline
"I do, but I have actual experience only in a specific way. That way would not suit you well, I believe." A slight pause. "I presumed you would do it yourself for some reason. Did I assume wrong?"
Offline
"No, I can do it, but since you asked..." Dion looked away. "I can do it myself."
Offline
"Sorry about the inconvenience, then."
Offline
"I really CAN do it myself, and I'll do it well!" Dion exclaimed. He straightened very violently.
The comb, previously in the teen's hair, flew towards a wall.
