Brief rundown ig:

Demons live in the underworld. Some are sentient beings while others are just monsters that can be controlled with dark magic. Demons can only be brought into the "overworld" (aka the normal world) with dark magic, other than that they stay in the underworld. They can range from beast-like creatures to almost human-like. Indigo is a humanoid demon, one of the ones who looks almost exactly like a human save for her demon tail and horns. Demons don't really care what happens to humanity that much, the sentient ones tend to be pretty chaotic and like bloodshed and all that stuff, so when they're summoned they just do what they're told to do and then go back to the underworld.

Indigo is one of the youngest demons (who live indefinitely) and one of the only demons who has a softer conscience and doesn't like to outright kill people or things. The other demons who were like her were usually killed by the thing they were supposed to destroy or by their summoner for disobeying orders. Indigo was essentially an outcast among the other demons because of her demeanor.

She was summoned by a particular Dark elf (hint hint hint), but then revolted and used all her power to break the magic spell that a demon is automatically sealed to when it's summoned to keep it in check by the summoner. As such she doesn't have much of her abilities available to her. She manages to use the last of her magic to teleport away from her summoner and ends up in a city which happens to be the one that the protagonist, Ariana, ends up in, and where the other main character, Lyra, lives.

There's not really that much too it once you remember they intentionally corrupted themselves with evil magic. They summon them as servants.

Indigo is still a demon so she's like ever so slightly bloodthirsty but still very sweet and my favorite character aguiaasgk

She's just much more inclined to fight than Ariana lol

Hyrule Castle is one of my favorite tracks from BoTW btw, I prefer the indoor version a little more too the outside but when both versions are put over each other it just sounds amazing

I learned how to play the Staff Roll for Ocarina of Time a while ago
