I love the character theme songs that are popping out after 2 years of me not listening to them
And I especially love how I still remember how to sing them lol

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

There was one time where HPA!Rai called HPA!Wiley and was like, "The toilet is clogged, come help"
He meant it as a joke but Wiley came with, like, all plumbing equipment.
Rai felt kinda bad after that because Wiley refused to actually treat it as a joke. So Wiley unclogged the toilet. He was really quick at doing it too. Ultimate Plumber 10/10.
Now whenever Wiley shows up at Rai's house, it's "So? Is the toilet clogged?" and most of the time it's not, so Rai's like "Wanna hang out?" and he's like "YES"
Afterwards he carries all the plumbing tools back
Turns out there are benefits to being Wiley's friend lol, free and good plumbing

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

One of the scariest similarities between Wiley and Akuma is how they kinda share speech patterns
They both say "Saa" in my mind a lot and I'm like "Bruh"
I've tried to keep them separate but, like, sometimes they get to speak with each other, which is heck for me
Akuma's actually very nice to Wiley though, wONDER WHY

Again, I love how Chinese songs are mostly like "I love you so much, I want to spend my next 3 lives with you" or "We've broken up, I'm pretending not to care and trying to get stronger but I still am salty towards how we broke up and how you no longer remember me. Whatever"

Tbh Rai seems like the type of friend to drive other friends to places, like to school, to club meeting places, and places like that
Raez would want to too, but he's a True Neutral and slightly concerning when it comes to driving, so no.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Honestly kinda confused by how I should go about designing characters for Fate because if you look at it, Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero are quite prudent when it comes to character design. Like, people have on armor for protection, and it's actually enough armor. But then if you look at Fate/Grand Order it's, like, abs and things I'm not gonna speak about on here. (*cough*) Bradamante,,, "I still have on armor! Don't worry!"
I mean ngl I can't draw abs and I can't imagine my characters even just showing their stomach. But like. Lol am I putting too much armor
If I am, I can blame Saint Seiya :3

I'm sort of happy how Fate!Kiaane's design is turning out
I think they're kinda cute xD

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Also slightly confused on Fate backstories because most of them in Fate seem to be "Lol in the actual myths it was their fault...but it wasn't their fault " and I kinda really dislike that aspect. Like, I don't think there's anything wrong with people making mistakes.. Though obviously that view doesn't apply to murder and stuff, because yeah, they've improved now, but still go make up for how you took freaking lives, characters.
I dunno. Moral dilemmas while designing aren't very fun xD, but the general idea is that they're supposed to be characters. And I understand why Fate does what it does to backstories, of course, since people are supposed to be heroes and those people in actual mythologies might do things that are not very acceptable to modern society. For instance, what people in war did to women of conquered territories,,,,,, And of course there's usually the idea of "honorable killing," like in war or whatever.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Realized Fate!Kiaane might need to do something about their hair, it's too iconic lol
I can't incorporate a scarf into their design like I usually do (for them to stuff their hair into) because 1) That's a Galaxian persona's design, 2) Kiaane's wearing armor and a scarf is not optimal in their situation

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Oh I finally remembered two things I forgot. They're kinda weird things though and not too important, which is why I wasn't stressing about them lol
1) Kiaane overheats really easily, and when they overeat they gain a bit of blush in their cheeks, which looks uncharacteristic as heck. It's kinda cute though imo. Also kinda why I can't add a scarf to their design; the armor is already pretty warm for them.
2) Another kinda cute thing--Wiley waits by his friends' bedside when they're sick. It's kinda like one of the only considerate things about how he acts. And yes, he gets them medicine and stuff. And also, unlike usual, he doesn't raid their fridges and probably starves for all the days he's taking care of them. He knows the best medicine brands and he can make quite a few types of medicine himself, but usually he doesn't prefer to do so unless he knows their specific health information and stuff like that, including genetic compatibility with certain ingredients/medicines

I never knew I could actually be paranoid myself doing character design but apparently with Kiaane I am.
Like, what are the odds of someone stabbing their heart from below? Pretty small odds. It's probably actually easier to just try to get through their armor directly (though it's pretty darn hard to do so, lol). Yet here I am, closing any possible gap from below.
Wheeee.
