"Well, I have someone to introduce to you all at the end of the meeting," Calix said. He sounded very clearly excited, and he pressed his hands together to show this excitement.
Offline
"Looks like you can't ditch us yet, then," Iollan jokes to Germaine.
Offline
"Oh, no, please don't take it that way," she replied lightheartedly. "I'll be looking forward to meeting this mysterious someone."
Offline
"I have a feeling you all will take a liking to him," Calix nodded. "So, just to clarify, we will all meet here together after going to the gym, yes?"
Offline
"That would be fine by me, so now I wait for you two's answers." Germaine smiled. She's just going with the flow naturally.
Offline
That totally sounds natural, Germaine.
"If I don't show up by then, you don't have to wait for me. Sorry for my lateness in advance," Hitan apologizes to Calix and the others in general. "I am sure whomever you want us to wish is delightful, so please tell him that it's nice to meet him for me if I cannot go in person to see him."
Offline
Calix nodded then said to Iollan, "Shall we head to the gym now?"
Offline
"We're all eager to find out what this gift is," added Germaine.
Offline
Oh boy, I'm sure y'all are, but has the narrator thought about what the gift is? Yes. Do they consider their ideas good at all? No. Oh no.
"You all are honestly more enthusiastic about this than I anticipated," Iollan observes with a chuckle. "Very well then--let us head to the gym. See you later, Hitan."
"Bye!" Hitan bids temporary farewell to the others with a small wave and a strange and quick tiptoe sort of movement that he doesn't seem to register himself doing.

Calix waved bye while Apollo said, "See you in a bit!"
Offline
Germaine offered a thumbs up and a "Good luck!"
Offline
(Should we time skip to the gym?)
Offline
(Personally I'd be interested in some hallway narrating :D)
Offline
(ope OwO okay)
Offline
((Hmm I wonder what that would be like, but I'm up for it xD))

Hitan goes out of the room, though not before he stops despite the goodbye and tries to hold the door for everyone.
Iollan just goes with it. He leads the way, saying a "Thanks, man" to Hitan.
Offline
"Thank you," Calix nodded to Hitan.
"Thanks!" Apollo smiled.
Offline
Germaine just waved. She nodded a thanks to Hitan too as she left the room.
Offline
Iollan then leads the way down the hallways towards the gym, which the narrator expects the others to narrate in terms of setting description since they literally have not watched anything or read anything to do with the school called Hope's Peak Academy.
Hitan scampers the other way, tailcoat and all.

The empty hallways are nicely lit thanks to some windows with light streaming through them. They look pretty spacious too, at least enough for a group of students to stand in comfortably. Everything is spotless. Shiny checkered tiles cover the floor. The gray paint of the walls looks new too. Pillar arches stuck to the walls (and ceilings) both decorate and give the hallways a sturdy look.
Because this roleplayer doesn't know where the teacher's lounge is, the teachers might have to go down a flight of stairs to reach the gym in its location on the first floor. It's just turning to the left of the staircase's exit. There are large windows on the wall of the staircase's landings. Red carpet lines the bottom floor where the stairs finally touch the tiles of the first floor.
Germaine followed the other teachers cheerfully, a bit of a bounce in her step.

Iollan is just imagining the public schools where kids line up in rows to block the hallways and thinking about how not fond a memory he found of those said hallways. The narrator is thinking about it as well and is cringing from the thought of the memory itself.
"I think we kind of forgot to imply this, but did you all want to choose from the books Hitan brought over?" he asks the other teachers.
Offline
"I will take a look at them," Calix said.
"Uhh... Yeah, I think I will," Apollo nodded.
Offline
"If there's enough time, I'd love to!"
Offline
"Cool. If you don't have the time--" that part is directed towards Germaine, "--then we'll just leave it in the office and you can pick it out whenever you do have the time to spare for such a task." He chuckles. "To be honest, Hitan was so zealous about the entire thing that I'm pretty sure he brought too many. I might even have to put up a bookshelf for the gym or something if they can't all fit into classroom shelves."
Offline
"But it was very thoughtful of him to bring the books," Germaine mentioned pensively. "Does he own a library?"
Offline
"Possibly. To be honest, I have no idea," Iollan says with a shrug. The movement is small due to how they're walking. "Both alternatives seem possible." Realizing how he didn't quite name the alternative, he goes, "The other option being that he bought all of them within the last week, I mean." To himself, he mutters, "That does give a concerning amount of Hitan vibes..."
Offline
"I hope it wasn't too expensive for him if he did buy them all at once," Calix said.
Offline
"Yeah, same," he agrees.
Offline
"I remember seeing a variety of titles. It would be a pity if the books were only for decoration, so I'll... I'll read them all as soon as I have a chance!"
Offline
"Shhh, don't let him hear you, or he'll recruit you into book clubs," Iollan jokingly warns with a grin.
