One of the creepiest things for mana transfer in the Fate series is the emphasis on just how it is done
I feel like I'm getting pricked by cacti just thinking about it jofjsofdsjf

Lol Servants with Fate personas are also now feeling weird too lol @them thank me :D

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

666 is that weird existence in my characters where I'm sure they're actually adorable but they're also so annoying implicitly that I basically refuse to like their actions. So even when they do something amusing I half-laugh and half-go "Doing this is not ok, Galaxian."
GGaD!Galaxian also has a somewhat similar existence, but I do allow myself to like what he does, obviously. It's just sometimes he's so exasperating, annoying, weird (not necessarily in a good way), etc. But I'm very attached to him, and in fact I got so attached to him early on that I couldn't fathom how people could be so callous to their own personas to the point of killing them. It seemed callous, anyways. Even now I can't understand, but of course I don't regard their actions as all being "callous" anymore.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

I used to have only 4 dimples but now if I fake smile I see 5 :0 I have 2 on the chin and 3 on the cheek. 3 are the ones that appear with the natural smile, 4 with a somewhat forced one, and 5 with a very forced one. Lol if I can't fake smile someone can literally read me with my face
Anyways I always try to keep the number of dimples little (because I personally don't have that many and so I dunno what is going over-the-top or just looks bad) but some of my characters do have dimples; Rai, for instance, is the opposite of me. He has 2 natural ones that show up with a smirk, 1 that shows up with a frown (I can't get dimples to form with a frown for my life but it's possible), and then a 4th one with his genuine smile.
Xuqiao has dimples iirc as well, and I have reason to believe Lianhuan has 'em as well.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

This is so random but
I had a random idea where the Not-Quad Squad goes bowling
Rai and Dion are just being normal while Wiley's like "Catch!" and freaking throws Raez the largest bowling ball ever at the same time
Raez catches it and manages not to crush his feet in the process but Rai's like "no." and Dion's like "WHAT THE--"

For POVing Kiaan, I'd rather be unhelpful than make them OOC, the meaning of which I'm not sure--idk if that says something about me or something about them
Probably me lol, specifically about how generally unhelpful I am and also how I treat characters like they actually exist

Tbh Kiaan is kinda pitiful in their own way lol, people they care for will all eventually leave them
Surpisingly enough, I did give him more happy circumstances in HPA
Fate is undecided for now,,, I have not gotten enough inspiration for Saber's backstory lol but presumably the circumstances for them are also pitiful.

I need to decide Saber's pronouns.
......NO, MIND. WE ARE NOT MAKING THEM FEMALE. THAT'S NOT OKAY. STOP IT.
Lol once they/he actually speak/speaks to me I'll get around to doing that. For now it's "them" because I'm used to referring to them that way. Besides, it's fitting too for current circumstances.

Morals are so weird,,, I say "actual Neutral Good" but it's like. Hmmm. I dunno how to explain the confusing part without spoiling their backstory (which is indeed very to be developed and solidified) but the "actuality" of that is concerning.
I'd like to think it's actual, though.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Tbh it's good that Wiley's closer to Raez than he is with Rai or if he threw that bowling ball at Rai, Rai might not be able to catch it (Raez is stronger than Rai, at least in terms of his arm) and then R.I.P. his feet if he doesn't react quickly enough ig

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Tbh I really like inserting at least two characters into private threads for one reason--it means more potential to break awkward points
Unfortunately usually the breaking of awkward points involves my characters kinda going on their own path for like half a minute (A.K.A. long posts), which makes the situation unintentionally awkward. Trying to balance between naturality and also continuation is a struggle lol
Like IRL you know when two people just keep talking like they know each other and you're being there all awkward (lol this is totally not geared towards a certain thread of mine,,,)

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

That shows how important it is for me to really get working on Not-NPC and her twin lol, I need someone (Not-NPC) to break awkward points between Kiaane and Martin.
Though ig she might not be able to. Kiaane and Martin probably won't interact in the modern-time much lol unless I go on the weird path of thinking haircuts are fluff,,, why??? and I don't plan on her appearing in the past thread.
Ofc I'm saying this while I don't work on any forms so.
Maybe summer break. I'm not kidding anyone lol am I

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Lol it's very important for Hitan to always be somewhat realistic in school universes or else it'd be like
"Hey Hitan, what instrument can you play?"
"All of them"
In CC he can play the violin iirc, the viola as well. He could actually be an one-man orchestra xD if that were possible realistically, but for some reason I can't envision him playing the cello yet
I can envision him playing bass though and it's kinda hilarious
Specifically a 6' bass. He's as tall as the bass (specifically, less than 0.01 cm shorter) and xD
I don't think that'd be too healthy though tbh idk I don't play bass and can't envision where the bow would go.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Raez feels like the type of guy to visit prisoners he has absolutely no relation with in jails to try to persuade them to change their ways (if they haven't thought of doing that already). If they actually agree and are sincere about it, he probably will support them
Which means he might have a bunch of ex-criminal friends...interesting thought. I'll save it for later.
I was gonna say that Rai and Wiley are thankfully not ex-criminals but I'm pretty sure Wiley would be considered some sort of criminal and Rai is probably legally a criminal so.

For a Fate AU my Servant characters should probably have armor on
I'm not counting Wiley ofc
But like...nah.

Re: Galaxian's Roleplaying Thread {Version Omega}

Wiley does everything for school with pens.
Art class. Math class.
On tests he writes as small as possible for him--and that's very small. He uses a special pen for tests--it has an ultra-thin tip. Poor teachers.
He doesn't take standardized tests obviously lol
