Atm I'm tentatively trying to do the basic profiles (a.k.a. stats) so I can share them with you.
Also trying to make the backstories more interesting so there will be reason for the characters to be summoned as Heroic Spirits.
Oh and I'm also trying to come up with possible catalysts if you want to use that xD so just let me know.

Also a note on worldbuilding--since this is a GGaD AU, did you want to make the world more like Forengard so we have a bit more of a place to work with, or did you wanna go by Earth? If we go by Forengard (our variation of it anyways)...idk tbh, maybe we'd be a tad bit more familiar with it. But I dunno if deities in that variation of Forengard would be as "public" as they are in GGaD canon, e.g. for Divine Spirits in Fate they mostly were active in Babylonia, not at all times. That might be interesting for lore ig (and also explain why there aren't OP deities just being summoned in regular Grail Wars). And also ig the Heroic Spirits would be on a different timeline than on Earth, so there would be Forest Spirits existing logically in that sense.

I think that Mana (judging by seeing the average stats for classes lol) might be how much magical energy a Servant can use for output. Like, Casters have the highest stats there, and Servants with more powerful abilities such as Mana Burst seem to have that stat with a high ranking. In general what I've seen is pretty much that the more contact a Servant had with magic in their lifetime the higher the stat.

Maybe the "Earth" we're using is set in the Modern Sect for Forengard. I don't know exactly how that works,,, I don't even know xD but I also know that there are characters in the actual roleplay that do have existing nationalities and I don't know how that would be possible if a version of Earth doesn't exist.
I'm not good at explaining stuff but I agree with what you said on your post btw.

Tbh nationalities don't seem to have a role in Forengard, which is kinda good because yay no ethnocentrism lol. Like do you mean for "existing nationalities" in the real world, like how Rai is Japanese-Chinese? I guess for that that's a greater issue of how the heck we'll go about determining fame lol, of the Heroic Spirits I mean.

Yeah Wiley's pretty efficient lol, but his strength is lacking lol. I can't imagine he would want to fight any other Servants at a disadvantageous situation since I'm presuming their stats other than endurance are likely much better than him oof.

Maybe we can just have them pretend to know each other and we just come up with whatever the heck our minds come up with at the moment. Like maybe you dunno anything about Xuqiao's backstory but your Servant character goes "Oh yes the great general of the (*idk*) era, known for (*blah blah blah*)" xDDDD maybe that'd somehow help with development. Idk sometimes when I have to fit puzzle pieces I didn't account for in the puzzle great things actually come out lol, but that's for me personally when things work out.

Thinking about it though Akuma being with Marie kinda makes sense. It always seems like shady individuals are the ones with Assassin and Berserker Servants lol

I feel like the fact that all of 'em are so young and seem to be knowing what they're getting into is important for lore...like in Zero Waver was the youngest maybe (idk Ryuunosuke's age but he didn't know what he was getting into) and arguably he didn't know what he was doing except for a potential ego boost. The rest, like Kiritsugu, Kayneth, Kirei, Kariya (bruh why was everyone's names starting with K lol), Tokiomi...they knew what they were getting into, and they were pretty old. And for F/SN, that was an exception since the War wasn't supposed to happen so quickly but the Fourth Holy Grail War screwed chronology up, so technically Rin and the others would've been older if things had gone the "correct" way, right? Anyways, yep. That's a point ig. Lol.

Well, depending on what part it was, maybe Akuma "found" it and it was in the general vicinity. They don't have any association to a family or anything like that, so technically it could've been completely be accident. They don't appear to know a lot of magic, either.

I think so, yeah. I'm going off of a few frames for Artoria at least lol. And I think that most Servant weapons don't crack in half all that easily, so yeah they're on limited weapons.

I think I can leave that particular question unanswered (sorry), but if Aereon needs a motive for summoning him (instead of a Servant with more brute strength) I can try to answer ig. EX-rank Mad Enhancement means that he's easier to control than Hercules though.

Maybe where Akuma currently lives is where a mage lived before,,, keep in mind it might actually be the case where they moved into a place and the catalyst was actually there and they were like "Grail War? Hmm, interesting concept, I'll consider it." It's not a 100% scenario where in actuality they killed the mage with the catalyst or smthn like that. I guess the mage beforehand might've been ditzy and/or a noob lol, especially if Marie's stats are good/her fame is widespread. 

The motive probably depends on lore lol, but for some reason most of the Masters don't strike me as people who're trying to reach the Root,,, what I'm REALLY trying to say is if they are then I'm heartbroken already lol

Yeah for Rensa it's more versatility lol he can be summoned under a lot of Classes. He's a pretty powerful Berserker though, just not the most powerful form he can be in. But if he were under other classes she probably wouldn't get along with him so lol there's also the moral matchup issue she hopefully put into consideration
