Nagesh is gonna do his job because it's his job. He is very content standing beside Chronos and not talking, like the narrator said he wouldn't.

"Her Majesty has had her abilities for about...two months now? I- I'm not quite sure actually..." He tries to gently pull his hand out of her grasp but her grip only tightens and he sighs, accepting his fate.

Allen was still near the table, and he saw Galaxian.
"Good day," he greeted politely with a smile. "Do you need help to carry...that?"
Meanwhile, Dalia went around to the sides of the room to inspect the walls' material. She did like the way the place was built.
Offline
Galaxian can't even see Allen over the sausage heap, but he does recognize the other's voice. Or maybe he can see through the sausages. "Oh hi! Did you want sausages?" he asks.
Offline
"No, thank you, I'm fine for now," Allen declined softly. "I thought perhaps you would need help carrying those."
Offline
"Okay. Did Dalia want any?" he asks.
Offline
"Hm. Wow. Makes sense with all that pride, then. I'm assuming she's royalty too, to top it off, right?" Time asked.
Offline
Frances opens his mouth to answer the question but instead got bonked on his head "ow what the-"
"So you're just gonna talk about me as if I'm not even here now? The nerve." Elaine snapped at him and he flinched.
"I uh...couldn't leave, you're still um...holding my hand.." He looks away, his cheeks are almost bright cherry red.
Elaine just immediately dropped his hand when she noticed and shifted awkwardly back and forth "Oh uh...I didn't notice." clearing her throat she tried to stand more still "ah well um, go have have some fun and enjoy yourself. Marsh will keep my company, isn't that right Marshy poo-"
"If I hear you say that one more time I swear I will decapitate you. I don't even care that you're an immortal now."
As the two return to their bickering, Frances just politely cleared his throat, "apologies once again for how they're acting. Shall we perhaps talk somewhere quieter?"
Offline
"Dalia? No, I don't think so." The shapeshifter smiled at Galaxian. "Do you and my sister know each other?"
Offline
Time was about to mention that immortals could actually kill other immortals, but Frances asked if they were to walk to someplace else.
"Sure, why not over here?" Time walked to a spot that was more or less between Elaine and Marsh and Chronos and Ark, closer to Chronos and Ark.
Offline
"I dunno, you'll probably have to ask her. Hmmm...did Rune and any others come with you?"
Offline
Allen shook his head. "I came along as Dalia's 'plus one', as the invitation letter said."
Offline
"Ah. You're on a break from Rune's?" Galaxian has opted to not know everything for once. Conversations are easier to carry out that way. Yay!
Offline
Frances just nodded and moved away from Marsh and Elaine. "So uh....sorry bout what happened earlier, with Elaine and stuff, she's not a bad person I swear it's just... her ego is a bit big so I hope you don't take anything she says to heart." He apologized on behalf of his queen because if she's not going to do it then someone has to right?
Offline
"I guess you could put it that way," Allen replied. He didn't know if he'd be allowed to return to Rune's domain, and the idea had not crossed his mind... but maybe it could be like that.
Offline
"You guess?" Galaxian tries pondering possibilities for breaks. "Did she fire you or something? Was that the word?"
If they were playing a game of Hot and Cold, he'd probably be getting colder.
Offline
"It seems she has a lot to work on." He nods in agreement.
Offline
"Don't tell her that, or she might actually bury us alive." Frances half-joked, though he realized that she might really do that. The her from two years ago wouldn't even consider it but the Elaine right now would barely even hesitate. Sometimes he still wonders where it all went wrong.
Offline
"Seem in-character." Time shrugs, "So, is she royalty?"
Offline
"As far as I know yeah, bred born and raised, as royal as they get." Frances replied, though Elaine could be adopted for all he knew.
(Elaine is not adopted...I think... why did I say I think like I don't decide what's canon for her backstory)

"You know, Elaine here never said a single thing about being a deity or any sort. What are her domains?"
Offline
Allen raised his hands slightly. "Oh, no, no. Rune would have never done that, I'm sure. Huh... I guess she didn't come to the party. I don't see her around."
As he hadn't had a chance to write to the goddess yet, Allen had been hoping she would be present at the party to tell her of his situation in-person. But, looking around, he didn't see her.
Offline
"Maybe she didn't receive one or decided not to come," the deity speculates. He's more used to all the sausages now.
Offline
"Perhaps she was busy too."
Allen grabbed a single strawberry from the table.

Frances didn't answer, instead giving Time a question of his own "Why are you asking? I wouldn't dare give away information about my queen without her permission."
Offline
"It's riches and luck," Galaxian hollers to Time, mostly because he doesn't like unanswered questions if he can help it and, of course, he doesn't care about the information-giving-without-permission thing because he isn't someone who serves Elaine.
"I heard being a mom is hard," he tells Allen. "Is it?"
Like he'd know, lol.
Offline
"It's... Like proper manners when introducing yourself to another deity." Time sighs as he hears Galaxian call out some domains.
Offline
Allen looked at Galaxian strangely for a few seconds before he understood that the question wasn't about himself.
"I wouldn't know for sure. While I have never been a parent myself, I can say that just helping taking care of a young child can be a handful at times."

"How about your mom?" The deity, who has never been with a parent himself, is eager to know about what it's like to have a mother and father. It shows in the shine of his right eye. "Is that answer because you remember that she took care of you and Dalia?"
Offline
Frances sighed "Right...because the first thing I think of when I hear Elaine is manners. Don't tell her I think this but her manners are atrocious."
