Somehow, but it holds true.
Good thing there's no one around.
As he said he would do, a certain life god is uncomfortably carry-dragging a dead body around a graveyard, looking for a place where no one has been assigned to be buried as of far and is, of course, devoid of corpse. The decapitated head with an expression that appears to be far from comfortable is also floating in the vicinity. GalaxE is afraid he might accidentally walk too fast and smash the head telekinetically on a gravestone, so that's the reason for how it's floating.
Offline
Ark has followed, for reasons unknown, and is currently attempting to help pick up the body so Galaxian doesn't have to drag it.
Offline
Totally not oblivious, Galaxian completely misses the part where he's supposed to realize that Ark is following him. Then again, maybe it's because this is a graveyard, so it's impacting him quite a bit. In any case, he kind of looks dumb, walking away on his merry way when Ark is basically next to him trying to help.
Offline
"Hey, GalaxE!" Ark waves. "Could you slow down?"
Offline
"Huh?" Galaxian screeches to a halt upon hearing that, making the body he's holding flop like a rag doll.
"Why're you here?" he asks in a perplexed tone, probably because when he heard "Bye" he had been expecting it to be directed towards him as well.
Offline
"I got bored. Also..." Ark waves his hands at the sky, implying that the plot gods needed him here for reasons. "You get it. I think. Anyway, it looks like you need help with that." He points at the body.

Plot goods, xD.
"You got bored?" Galaxian repeated, his perplexed tone now moving over to his looks. Specifically, he somehow conveys confusion through a blink. "By doing what? ...Never mind actually, I feel like I'm making this more confusing than it actually is. Well. Uh, I guess I dunno where to bury him." He gestures vaguely to the body, which is hard because he's carrying it.

"There might be an open spot near that tree." He points to a tree a few meters away. "We can talk while we walk."

Galaxian's not being the sharpest tack in the wall right now. He stares at the tree for a while like he's imagining Ark and him talking while walking in circles around the tree--which is exactly what he's thinking.
"Oh, okay," he goes on, and then he looks at Ark. He's actually waiting for the other to pick up the legs or something. He's not real good at teamwork.
Offline
Ark picks up the legs and starts walking. "So, what's been going on with you? Besides encountering a murderer."

Galaxian hops, trying to get used to Ark's pace with the other's long legs and all. "Encountering a lot of murderers," he says with no hint of humor, though he's being intentionally ironic. "Annoyed just about all of 'em too. A lot of them acted like I stole their wallet or whatever it was mortals use to store their money in."
Offline
"Murderers can be like that. And yeah, I think they use wallets."
Offline
"What've you been up to?" He puts slight emphasis on the "you." He's still hopping along. This is...not ideal.
Offline
"Not much. Just wandering around mostly." Ark slows down a bit to make it easier for Galaxian. "You want me to summon a cart or something for the body?"
Offline
"Nah, that would make us seem like mules or something. Mules are great, but it feels weird to think about," Galaxian says with a straight face, envisioning a mule the same purple hue as Ark's skin.
Offline
"I mean like a pushcart. Like those things at home depot you can run really fast then jump on to slide around."
Offline
"Home Depot?" Galaxian shows a moment of confusion. "That sounds fun though, but probably not for him." He jounces the corpse a bit to indicate who he's talking about.
I don't think the dead body cares, Galaxia--ah, never mind, you're not gonna listen anyways.
Offline
"Ok." Ark stops. "We have arrived!" It's a tree and an empty grave. Behold?
Offline
The life god scrutinizes the grave with his scarlet eye. He's probably suspicious as to why the heck an empty grave is just...conveniently there.
Offline
By empty grave, Ark means a grassy spot next to the tree. "Here should do." He waves his hand and creates a pit in the ground.
Offline
Sounds...sounds legit?
"Do decapitated heads actually stay conscious after 20 seconds?" Galaxian remarks randomly as he heaves the body up again for easy in-ground placement.
Offline
"Not sure. We could probably test it with an android from the cyber sect or something." Ark goes to help lower the body into the ground.
Offline
"Androids aren't really living though, and I don't wanna test," Galaxian goes. The hole isn't long enough, and he kinda scuffs at the ground with his foot trying to make it lengthier. In the process, he accidentally plops the end of the body he's holding into the ground in a fashion too hard for his opinion and winces.
Offline
"Ok." Ark makes the hole a little longer, and attempts to push the rest of the body in.
Offline
The way Galaxian tries to get the arm into the hole with minimal contact seems weird for someone who was carrying a body only a few seconds later. He finds trouble getting it by the other's side, thinking it looks like part of his shoulder is raised unnaturally, and is generally just being awkward again.
Offline
Ark stops, and steps back to look at their handiwork. "I think it's good."
Offline
The narrator loves how the description makes it sound like they're in a school AU and just finished a project together.
"Arm..." Galaxian mutters. For some reason, now every pose is looking unnatural to him.
Offline
"I think it's good."
Offline
Galaxian makes a doubtful noise and continues to fiddle around.
Eh, it's just his perfectionism acting out. Give him about three minutes and he'll run out of ways the arm can be put.
Offline
"Well, since we've got some time, anything you wanna talk about?"
