Lol yesterday my character preferences were basically insulted.
Possibly because my first favorite character was a semi-major antagonist who was a 19-year-old boy who had been away from the rest of the world for 10 years prior to the main storyline trying to cultivate his powers for his father to use in his quest for power and immortality; and he was basically insulted for his "foolish loyalty" (in Chinese it's called "yu zhong," basically combining "foolish" and "loyalty" lol).
Okay. Fine. I know he might seem foolish. But,,, you know, at least he was able to be loyal. Foolish loyalty never seems to be placed as a label onto those fighting for the good side; at least, not until the relationship crosses extreme boundaries. Who has the right to judge anyone who's loyal to family? It's not as if one has that family oneself and can say that they chose otherwise.
Besides, it's the betrayals of family and friends out of nowhere that irk me. They are, after all, family and friends.

Kaori's theme songs are so nice because they're the type of songs I sing well,,, I love epic songs but I'm actually not suited for singing them at all currently xD. I specialize in the types of songs that sound like some malevolent god made sure the sky turned solid and then sent it crashing down onto Earth.
Okay, that sounded dramatic as heck, but you get the idea. I specialize in singing sad emotions. Despair. Yes. But I also specialize in sounding inspirational, gentle, etc., believe it or not.

I love how dramatic I sound in Chinese. Or just condescending when there's a reason to be condescending. My evil OCs sound much better in Chinese than in English because I'm pretty skilled at their dialogue in Chinese.

I wrote a certain POV before sending it in Chinese partially (because a lot of my more retainable inspiration comes in Chinese) and lol the Chinese dialogue still sounds much better.
Chinese punctuation for dialogue is not something I'm accustomed to though lol.
