Koen seems to be doing nothing really important. By that, meaning that he was lounging under a tree by a pond, staring up at the clear sky. He's not wearing his glasses--they were on the grass next to him. However, he did often close his eyes before opening them again. But he doesn't look tired either.
((*shrugs* Couldn't get an idea what to do))

Conveniently(?) Aniyah was wandering around the edge of the pond picking some wildflowers here and there and weaving them together. You know, normal stuff. It is yet to be determined if she will continue doing normal stuff if she notices Koen, or if Koen notices her. Either one.

Koen sat up, rubbing his eyes as they were hurting from the light. He looked around, having to do a double-take when he saw...
Her?!
Offline
((Ah yes, to be able to strike fear into the hearts of men upon being merely seen. Truly an accomplishment.))
Aniyah still hadn't noticed him. Having finished her flower crown and set it on top of her head, she threw herself back onto the grass. From Koen's point of view it looked like she'd fallen over and was not getting up. Wonderful.
Offline
Koen jumped up to his feet, worried she fainted. He picked up his glasses and put them into his coat pocket, running over to her. "Hey! Are you alright?" he asked upon approaching.
Offline
Aniyah jolted up from the flowers, her wings raised as if ready to fly off at a moments notice. She looked up at Koen, squinting from the sunlight, trying to recognize him. Very quickly she succeeded in doing so. "What are you doing here?!" she demanded, quickly getting up and aggressively brushing off the front of her dress.
Offline
Koen skidded to a stop, nearly falling backwards as the slippery grass. His face flushed as he stammered for an answer. "I,er, uh...." He scratched the back of his head, unsure of how to phrase his words. She doesn't speak English well...but can she understand it perfectly? "Um...I-I thought you fell down...maybe hurt..." he mumbled, darting his eyes away.

((I'm trying to figure out how Amande can be there, so I'm sorry for not posting yet xD))
Offline
Aniyah did that thing where she puffed up her cheeks and covered her increasingly red face by yanking her hat down in front of it. "I'm fine," she mumbled through her hat.
Offline
Koen's stiff shoulders slightly relaxed as he sighed. "O-oh. Okay."
Offline
Aniyah, having regained her composure, yanked her hat back onto her head properly. "You still not answer my question, boy."
Offline
Koen jumped at the "boy", having not heard that in....months? A year now?
"Um...what was it again?" He frantically thought about their conversation...or...brief exchange of words before she could snap at him again. "Oh! I, uh...was getting some...fresh...air?" he hesitantly answered.
Offline
Aniyah sighed, perhaps overdramatically. "Why is it that we always run into each other at same place?" she asked, almost to herself. She jerked her head up sharply. "Do not tell me that some fate is making happen." I think she means she's concerned that they're supposed to become friends. Or something else. Something like that.
Offline
Koen raised his hands up in surrender, taking a step back. "I wasn't going to even mention that!"
Offline
Aniyah rolled her eyes. "For once, it is not you that is problem. The gods are problem right now."
Offline
Koen nodded, though couldn't get the "not you that is problem" out of his head.
Offline
Aniyah looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "I still don't like you that much." she said. The fact that she said "that much" is...an interesting word choice.
Offline
Koen gulped--and paused. He tilted his head as a slight smirk appeared with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Doesn't that mean you have liked me before? Or that you like me now?"
Offline
Realizing what she had just said, Aniyah's cheeks became almost as red as her dress. "No."
Offline
Koen was now trying to hold a smile. "Oh? You sure?"
Offline
Aniyah turned her head away from him very quickly, but didn't answer.
Offline
Koen took a daring step closer. "Well? I'm pretty sure that 'no' sounded a bit strained and forced..."
Offline
Aniyah whipped off her hat started to thwack at his arm with it, but it wasn't that hard, almost like she was...playing?
Offline
Koen already covered is head by instinct, halfway in the action when he just felt a gentle "thwump" from the hat. He opened his eyes, blinking as he looked at his arm, to her hat, to her in confusion.
Offline
Aniyah was also watching him, holding the brim of her hand in both hands. Her face erupted in flames again. "You don't know what you talking about." she said finally, as if that was supposed to be relevant.
Offline
Koen blinked at her, confusion etched all over his face. "...I...probably...don't...?"
Offline
Aniyah was not expecting him to say this, and she kind of just stared at him awkwardly.
Is he flirting again? she thought, mostly because she really didn't know.
Offline
Koen scratched the back of his head, shifting in the awkward silence. "Uh... I guess...since we already met up with each other... Did...do you want to...uhm...do...something?" He gulped. "Together?"
Offline
Aniyah was definitely not expecting that either. She blinked a few times, then muttered something to herself in Russian, like she was arguing with herself, her eyes darted back and forth across the ground. Then she looked back up and Koen. "Fine," she said.
