Lyle appeared back, his eyes instantly going to Kyle's captive. His eyes narrowed as they spewed hatred at the man.
The man only cowered from Kyle, barely noticing Lyle's glare.
Offline
"Soooo... you hate criminals that much?" He asked Lyle, looking from his teammate to the prisoner.
Offline
Lyle turned his hateful gaze to Kyle before looking away, crossing his arms.
Offline
((woahhh please chill xD))
Kyle shrugged. "Well, this is pretty much it. There isn't a lot of other things to do now. At least related to this job."
"So what do we do with the prisoners now?" Asked Corinne, getting closer to Kyle wih her arms crossed. "The remaining ones, that is."

((XDD))
Lyle ignored the other two, his eyes straying over to the elaborate door.
Offline
The door... is there.
"Uhh... I'm not sure. If I had to choose, they probably wouldn't be here anymore. Maybe. But in this case, maybe turning them in to justice would be the best option."
Corinne mumbled something in reply to Kyle. They're kind of ignoring Lyle.
Offline
Lyle walked over to the door, lifting up his right hand to feel around it.
Offline
As Lyle felt around, his hand landed on a tile, which glowed. The ground began to shake as he took a couple of steps back.
Offline
"Wha-- Woah." Corinne turned her attention to the glowing tile. "Hey, what happened?"
Kyle made sure to grip his sword tightly as he took some steps towards the door, keeping his balance on the shaky ground.
Offline
Lyle watched the glowing tile with wide eyes, but stayed unusually calm.
The glowing spread into the designs of the door, which slowly creaked open to a suspicious looking, dark abyss.
Offline
"I didn't expect to see that door open," Corinne whispered. There was not need for her to lower her voice, but for some reason she felt it was necessary.
Kyle stopped right outside of the door. He glanced back at the other two, a grin on his face.
"Let's go in, shall we? This is too mysterious to not investigate. C'mon."
Offline
Lyle walked in without hesitation, keeping his eyes straight.
Offline
Corinne ran so she would be at Lyle's side. "You look like you know what you're doing. Maybe be a bit more careful? I don't think it's such a good idea to waltz into a mysterious place just like this. Besides, we don't have a light for the way. It's too dark."
Kyle followed his teammates with a steady pace, though he held his unsheathed sword tightly just in case someone (or something) decided to pop out and attack them.
Offline
Lyle ignored her as he continued straight on, his jawline tight as he walked at a pretty fast pace. He suddenly grabbed Corinne by the elbow and pulled her to the other side of him as something dark shot up from the ground.
"Watch your step; best to walk behind me," he simply said in a slight authoritative tone.
Offline
"Woah--"
Lyle's movement almost caused Corinne to point her weapon at him. Half a second later, she had her blade in a defensive hold.
Kyle walked behind the others, which just happened to be what Lyle suggested. He glanced around in hopes he could distinguish something. Maybe something dangerous? Something that would attack them...it definitely wouldn't be safe, but it would be interesting.
Offline
The farther they went in, the less dark it seemed. They could see about three feet around them on the floor, but no farther. Better than not being able to see at all, right?
Lyle kept his eyes ahead, his ears listening for anything out of the ordinary that might go after them. It's been years since I was last here...but everything is coming back to me.
Offline
Corinne was having a bit of trouble with trying to see in the dark.
Kyle had gotten more used to the lack of light around.
Both of them were still following Lyle.
Offline
Until Lyle disappeared in front of Corinne and somehow appeared behind Kyle. "Keep going, he said under his breath. "And...act like you both are prisoners." He paused. "You may have to give me your weapons if you can't hide it."
Offline
Kyle stopped in his spot.
"What does this mean?" Kyle hissed a little too loudly as he turned right around. "You can't just order me, order us to act vulnerable. And I'm not giving you my sword. It's only mine."
"He has a point," Corinne half-whispered. She did lower the sword in her hand, but not enough to assume a completely relaxed stance. "But leave it for later, okay Ly- okay, you? If anything goes wrong, we can fight." Having stopped in place right after Kyle, she glanced back at the two guys, finally motioning forward with her chin.
It didn't feel safe to be standing still in a dark area.

Lyle frowned, his face growing dark. "I'm telling you, it's for your safety. We have to make sure that the treasure is safe. In order to do that, you have to comply with what I say," he snapped.
Offline
"Well, fine." Kyle stepped into place with a not so faint grumble. "Fallon chose you for a reason, so you'd better live up to her expectations."
Corinne frowned silently.
Offline
Lyle's frown deepened. "You better hide your weapons carefully then. One glint, one point or punch will be the end of us."
Offline
"Fine," Kyle repeated in an even lower tone.
Corinne nodded. "Let's just go already," she whispered.
Offline
"Stay quiet," he muttered under his breath, eyes moving around in the bleak darkness.
Offline
Both Kyle and Corinne did as told.
Offline
((Stink how did I forget about this?? XDD))
((Umm…I blanked and kinda forgot why and how Lyle is knowing this place hnnnnn…))
Offline
((I'm honestly blank on this thread as well. Do you mind if we continue the thread sometime in the future? I'm really not feeling up to roleplaying Kyle and Corinne at the moment, and it's been quite a while. Sorry about that.))
Offline
((No, I’m quite alright with that! I don’t want you to feel obligated to do this so it’s totally fine with me if we continue this in the future))
