"Not really. It's just..."
Allen frowned slightly as he fixed his bangs. Neither a good reason nor a suitable excuse came to mind.
"I don't know. But I'm sure she's alright."
Offline
"Well, if knowing her status is already alright for you, then any alternative could be left for when your standards change, if at all," Nagesh ponders aloud, obviously trying his hardest to not sound judgmental. Of course, he's not really judging at all; he just doesn't want to sound like he is.

His next smile is slightly weak, but it is a smile anyways.
"I suppose you're correct. That's a good point."
Offline
"Well, let me know if I can help in that regard, please," Nagesh offers. "I would be happy to be of any aid that I can be."
Offline
"Of course. I... Thanks." Allen's smile relaxes some.
If Nagesh knew how his sister was, would he be so supportive of the idea of a visit? Allen knew Dalia wasn't the best when it came to relationships with people...
But that isn't important at the moment, right? He shouldn't wander in his thoughts, much less when someone was with him. Allen resolves to stay more focused on the moment.

Well, to answer the question...he probably would be. Though he perhaps wouldn't be as approving of Dalia's character, Nagesh believes family ties to be very important. Perhaps part of that hypothetical supportiveness would be from the fact that Nagesh would (hypothetically) accompany Allen to Dalia's domain, where he would be able to make sure that Allen wouldn't be harmed by his twin or somehow manipulated in any way. That's the type of person the mage is--someone confident but perhaps with a too simple view of the world and its inhabitants, no matter immortal or not, immoral or not.
"No problem, even though I haven't helped any at all." The young man grins brightly.

Allen takes a moment to adjust and loosen his shirt's collar a bit.
"The offer is enough to give me peace of mind. Thanks."

Nagesh leaves that at that, knowing that this is one of those moments where continuing to add to a topic makes it awkward. "But you know, I believe I did spot a glimpse of a supernatural force behind these clouds," he observes, tilting his head up slightly to the sky.
Offline
"Really?" The answer almost comes too quickly.
Offline
Nagesh nods, confirming his own thoughts. "It always looks a bit different when someone or something other than the course of nature is making things happen."
Offline
"I wonder what is going on up there. Do you happen to know?"
Offline
"I have a good guess, but at the very least, I don't think it's anything to be concerned about," the mage replies.
Offline
"If you say so," Allen states, "then it must be that way." He stops looking at the sky, a smile still on his face.
Offline
"Not really, but I hope so," Nagesh says with a grin.
They walk on for a little bit more before Nagesh starts on something weird again: "In a way, I actually hope the clouds turn back. The plants are quite impatient."

"It wouldn't hurt them to wait a little longer," comments Allen.
He didn't mind if it suddenly began raining. There was something, though, that gave him a sensation of not wanting to return 'home' so soon.
Offline
"Well, I suppose so. The last rain was rather recent, wasn't it? Is there anything you have a routine of doing when it rains?"
Offline
"My routine does not change much, regardless of rainy or sunny weather," answered Allen. "So... no, I don't do anything special then."
Offline
"Oh? So no sun dance?" Nagesh asks with a hint of mischievousness.
Offline
Allen's mouth formed an almost-laughing gesture, but no sound of mirth came out.
"Nope, no sun dance. Just good old routine."
Offline
"A pity," Nagesh jokes.
Offline
"It's fine." Allen gave an incomplete shrug.
Offline
"Doing a Sun Dance every time it rains would be tedious and unhelpful anyways," Nagesh observes. "Presuming said Sun Dance works, of course."
Offline
"I believe it also needs more than one person in order to be performed. Besides, rain isn't bad."
Offline
"Yes, hence the descriptions," Nagesh goes with a small grin. "Just like everything, it is better in moderate amounts but can hardly be moderated."

((Bruh the fact that this is now a past thread))
((Also my use of tenses in this thread is a horrible, terrible mess,,, I'm sorry))
"I'm sure it is. In general, I think you've described it rather well. There's nothing I can think of to add to your comment." Allen almost smiles there. "Maybe I'm simply not thinking enough."

"No use overthinking it, yeah? If what I said is truly enough, then it should be enough," Nagesh goes, grinning. "We're almost at the canyons though, if I may point that out."
Offline
"I didn't know there were canyons around here," he admits.
Offline
"You didn't?" Nagesh raises an eyebrow, then laughs. "Well, that makes sense. It also provides more evidence you do not get enough Vitamin D and sunlight exposure."
Offline
Allen brushed a hand through his bangs again. "Hah, I don't think I denied that fact."
Offline
"Yes, but the evidence condemns you to action, young man," Nagesh jokes.
