Allen shook his head, the smile resurfacing. "Feel free to call me anything you'd like."

Nagesh pauses to think over every nickname they put out in this conversation. Al. All. Ally. For some reason, his grin just widens slightly with each thought.
"I've never been skilled with nicknames," he admits openly. "I think unless I have a sort of epiphany or unless you develop a preference, I won't be calling you anything other than 'Allen'...on a frequent scale, at least."
Offline
"That's fine," Allen says cheerfully. "I'm used to my name, anyways."
Offline
"Glad to hear it."
It's still not raining. Yayyy! :D.
Offline
"It's been a while since I last had a conversation this long with someone," he says with a very soft chuckle.
Offline
"I'm hoping that's a good thing, not an indicator of me continually ruining peaceful moments out in the...the wilderness," Nagesh says with a vague gesture to the surroundings, laughing slightly.
Offline
"I don't see why it would be a bad thing. If there's company, why not talk? As long as they're willing to do so, of course."
Offline
"I don't know." Nagesh's look takes a turn towards thoughtfulness. "Perhaps I'm influenced very strongly by my background. Perhaps too much?"
Offline
"Aren't we all?" Allen says with a light shrug.
Offline
"I'm not too sure about that," the magic user responds lightly. "Some are...impressively detached...from their origins."
Offline
Allen returned his sight to the path they were following. "That's true, but as you said, it is the case for some. It isn't a rule."
Offline
(Lol I'm lost on how to make this transition to horse riding)
"It isn't," Nagesh agrees.
Offline
((I don't really know either lol. Maybe change the topic or something xD))
Allen let a few seconds pass as he considered an answer. "In any case, I'm not really anyone to judge others' origins and effects of those."
Offline
"I'd love to say the same for myself, but sometimes it's hard of me not to," Nagesh admits.
Offline
Allen looks thoughtful for a moment, as he was considering what to say. In the end he just gave a nod of agreement.

Nagesh is looking up at the sky now, a trace of intrigue lacing his face.
Offline
Allen glanced up as well once he noticed Nagesh's movement.
"Say, is there something wrong with the sky?"
Offline
"No, not particularly. However, it does seem unnatural," Nagesh observes, his sight flickering to yet another part of the sky.
Offline
"Unnatural... in what sense?"
Offline
"The clouds are moving too quickly. Their weight should have been let loose by now, but somehow it seems as if all the volume within is being cluttered. The air is dry compared to usual," Nagesh lists.
Offline
"Perhaps they're giving us a chance to stay outside for longer."
Offline
Nagesh pauses before responding to consider the sentence. "They?"
Offline
"The clouds, I mean," Allen clarifies.
Offline
"Ah." Nagesh nods, though he still looks thoughtful. Perhaps that's just a perpetual look. "I have to admit, for a moment I thought you were referring to the clouds' corresponding spirits or other entities that could control them."
Offline
"Oh, no, not in this case. That also works, but it wasn't what I meant this time."
Offline
"Well, that happens to be precisely what I meant." Nagesh grins again.
Offline
"I see." Allen stops moving to stare at the clouds.
He'd known of cloud spirits before. In fact, there was someone who often interacted with them.
Dalia...
I wonder how she's doing.
Offline
"Could you happen to be...thinking of someone?" Nagesh asks carefully.
Offline
"Ah-" Allen blinks twice as he returns to attention. He makes a slight pause while considering his words.
"...Yes. For a moment, I thought of my sister. I have not seen her in... a long time."
Offline
"Pardon me for asking so, then, but why do you not ask Rune to perhaps give you some time to see her? Is where your sister is inaccessible to you?"
