I think the only way to make Calix/HDK upset/angry is to try to take off his mask or to be disrespectful towards him lol. Even then when he's upset he acts calm and indifferent, though. He kind of values manners, which is ironic for HDK because he's a serial killer lol. I guess he has standards tho, and his backstory makes that detail make more sense too lol

Also both versions have really fast reflexes, so taking off his mask is almost impossible. And if someone actually did manage to take it off, he would be able to cover his face very quickly so no one can see it. With HPA version, he would probably use his arms to cover his face and turn away, politely asking for his mask back. With the GGaD version, he has a shadow spell to cover his face if the mask is taken off. There is only two people who can remove the shadow (: not saying who tho uwu

I think if (in public) Calix didn't have his mask for more than three minutes, it would trigger a severe breakdown or panic attack, so please no one try to take his mask. The Sociologist can only handle so much stress lol

For both versions, he just lifts his mask up to where only the mouth shows so he can eat. He also only takes the mask off to sleep

I bet HPA!Alma could memorize whole musicals lol, so I like to imagine that when he's sleep deprived he ends up acting out a whole musical, including lines/script and songs, in an empty room until he passes out from exhaustion lol

Kinda wanna write about Francis' and his older brother Emil's relationship tbh. They were really close when they were young, so hearing about Emil's death really impacted Francis because Francis considered Emil as one of two people biologically related to him as family, and Francis really values his family members, as well as that Francis values life/the living

I kind of find it ironic that Francis is very kind and values the living because he's a son of a death god but Francis also grew up part of his childhood being abused and watching his mother get beat up, to being separated from his only known brother at the time to be put up for adoption, to fearing himself and the fact he could possibly become like his father and hating himself for the fact he could kill people very easily and on accident, to blaming himself for the fact he was abandoned, to becoming cold and distant at a young age, to being adopted by a very loving couple, to learning how to control his abilities and learning how to open up and be himself and finding his love of art, to becoming how he is now with the love and support from his adopted parents-

So yea I love Francis

At first I was like "okay, the designs must look demonic and scary" but honestly the idea of fighting Alois in any of his demonic forms is terrifying imo

The fact that Alois can shift into scary forms is pretty funny once you consider that the dude wears suits and ties, has gone to law school, has been a lawyer for years, and does office work and paper work for fun

I like to imagine that when taking selfies with other people, Alois is really stiff and doesn't smile so you have these photos of him, Silence, and Alma and Silence and Alma are posing and grinning like a couple of dorks while Alois has a stiff posture and is death glaring into the camera (well, he would be death glaring if you could see his eyes lol)

BWHWJJDKWKRB I CAME UP WITH THE FUNNIEST PLOT IDEA WJFJWJJR

Okay so for plot I wanna have Silence and Francis and Malaika invite a bunch of people to go check out a mansion that is rumored to be haunted (lmao you can probably guess where this is going) and it turns out to be one of HDK's mansions and so HDK is there and is like "Okay, weird, but sure look around I guess." and is just really polite towards everyone and I guess Adrik will be there too lol and turns out that there are no ghosts and the rumour is fake but HDK is really chill with random people in his house lol and the thread will close with everyone leaving lol

Which later on in the whole HDK plot after some other stuff happens the group realizes "Oh gods we went into a serial killer's home to see if a rumour was true or not oH GODS WE INTERACTED WITH A DEMIGOD SERIAL KILLER-" which I think would be super funny lmao

I have so many cynical characters but they're all types of different cynical

Like, GGaD!Alois/Rogue!Alois are a type of protective cynical but not for the protection of himself but for the protection of Alma. The only self-interest motivation he has is to protect his family/friends. But he's also willing to tolerate strangers and won't push people away. For GGaD! his cynical attitude comes from living so many lives while for Rogue! his cynical attitude comes from working for a corrupt government. For both they're willing to help strangers, but they're also real careful about it.

SF!Echo is a scared type of cynical that distrusts people due to being used "as a puppet" for destruction and war. She doesn't want to be hurt again and genuinely gets confused when someone is kind towards her when she doesn't have anything or much to give. She doesn't believe that people want her around because she views herself as worthless and that people won't want her unless she has some kind of value for their needs, basically. She doesn't exactly trust that people want her around just based on her personality/how she is as a person. So she kind of sees herself as a tool for other people??? Kinda like how Peko from DR2 saw herself as a tool, except Echo doesn't want to be one lol. SF!Echo is kind of hard to explain. It's also noted that she can't handle "kindness" very well and will either spiral or have a mental breakdown if she can't find some kind of purpose for someone trying to help her. She also has extreme guilt when people help her lol rip

Rogue!Echo/Rin is a very distrustful, very bitter type of cynical that is angry and would punch you if you got too close. Due to a lot in her life, she is mostly motivated through the self-interest of surviving and making sure the few people she trusts survive. She can recognize nice people that truly do things for the sake of being kind/selfless people, but she doesn't trust that they'll stay like that. She believes that eventually selfless people will turn into selfish people given the opportunity to do so, so she doesn't mind having to ditch people to do what she wants to do. Basically she's like "they would do the same in this situation I'm in, so there's no point in trying to be "nice" to them". The only exception to this is if she's crazy loyal to you, like she is with Lillian and Adrik. With Lillian it's very obvious that Rin would do anything while for Adrik it's shown that she sometimes worries about his safety but knows when he's fine to be left alone. As well it's noted that Rin was confused that other people are trying to help with the whole "Lillian is kidnapped" situation and "acted like they cared" (to her it seemed like they cared, but then again, there's the possibility they're doing it out of pity).

Anyway, we have different flavours lol, all of them distrustful but different extremes of it

I'm redesigning Rogue!Creator and I can't remember what he's suppose to look like very well and I'm trying to come up with a hairstyle and I can't even remember how old he is. Iirc he's probs in his mid 30s or early 40s but yeet I guess

I also forget how Glitchian ages work other than that they're "born"/spawned at the physical age of two. I think 1,000 "human" years equals a whole Glitchian year iirc because the dimensions times work differently or something like that idk younger me was stupid and made a whole mess with world building. I think the time works differently because Glitchians age slower

Also iirc Glitchian's bodies adapt to the time/aging speed of the dimension they're in too tho so I guess physically Lillian is probably 20 because she ages faster due to being in so many other dimensions. Lol and Rin is physically 17 still because she has been in the Forum's dimension for at least only two weeks

If we use that logic for SF!Echo, she probably is physically 16 or 17 and is starting to age like a human would. Same with Silence, which probs makes her physically around 20 or 21. North and Jay would still age slower, and North's body will age the slowest due to going back and forth to the MD

Tbh tho I might just make the years and times equal and just have the aging speed be the only difference because that'll make everything a lot easier lol I'm starting to have a headache trying to figure this out lol

I imagined HPA!Alma singing "Meant To Be Yours" from Heathers and honestly that is kind of funny because the dude could never be possessive tbh but also it creeped me out because Alma is very good at acting and I feel like HPA!Alma would get a lot of villain/antagonist roles in musicals lol

Also the idea of Alma singing and acting in a possessive and obsessive way is so weird tho but man I bet he could sing "Meant To Be Yours" pretty awesomely lol

Alma is basically the only person aside from Francis who could talk Silence out of (good intention applied) stabbing someone. Also probably Alma is the only person who could get Silence to wear weather appropriate clothing lol idk
