Also kinda a bit of a spoiler for anyone who wants to play the game but if you collect all masks and do a certain quest at the very end... the final boss battle becomes a piece of cake  
So tbh I can't say for sure if the boss battle was hard or not because I just xD I got the most powerful item in the game and the whole thing was a breeze honestly.
Though it felt really cool to be OP . Like no kidding. Super OP. Literally spamming the attack button was all it took xD
I guess it's fair xD since I took all the trouble to doing stuff. I didn't get all the heart pieces so I can't say I did 100% completion of the game, but I did all sidequests besides that. 

I need to commend the producers of the game because it's marvelously designed. Like, the games relies on a time system and resetting the same three days over and over, okay? So there are a lot of NPCs who have set schedules, and each of these affect how they interact with you and stuff. It's quite complex (at least at first glance) and makes it more fun to figure out! 

I really suffered at Great Bay Temple. It was the toughest one because I set firmly upon the idea that I wouldn't use a walkthrough for that part (tbh Snowhead Temple would have been the hardest one but I used a walkthrough so it doesn't count. I got bored in that temple btw lol. It required too much skill I didn't have. But more experienced gamers {like my brother} should be able to do it just fine.) aaand I nearly spend all the time I was allowed xD.
But Great Bay Temple... as hard as it was, I really really loved it. The whole thing with trying to figure out the mechanics of the big wheel turning inside and how to change its direction (to affect the water flow) was just something I adored. It was pure bliss once I figured out what I had to do and managed to do it. All by myself! 
Also it was water-themed. Do I need to say again that water/ice-themed places are like my favorite things ever xD so far my favorite temples have been ice or water themed. But anyways yes.

Then my other favorite one was Stone Tower Temple. I'm pretty sure that I mentioned it before, but I just enjoyed it. Favorite temple out of MM.
Also the soundtrack was so great it left me all like 
I've seen comments that say it's the hardest temple in the game but that was not my experience. The puzzles were rather easy and if I suffered a bit it was only because of my lack of skill. Though... by that time, I think I knew the controls enough to play better.

Aaaalright a bit of delay here but! let's see what I can mention about the Reunion, and Turnabout case!
I can't spoiler-mark comfortably on this device so I'll try to avoid spoilers until later when I can do it easily.

Well to begin with...
I can't say I'm completely sure of this xD but so far, I think this has been my favorite case! I mean, I find all the cases very interesting (even if sometimes they're kinda complicated) but this one had something special. 
Ghosts xD.

Another thing about the case is that it's a sort of "flashback" from what I could see, so even though I knew what the outcome would be, I didn't know how the whole thing would play out and what would happen and who would be the culprit and stuff.
I truly enjoyed learning about the Feys and their job and their, uh, "culture"? I'm not sure of what to call it tbh xD
It was enlightening to learn more about that . And the way it played such a large role in the whole mystery and trial... 
I know it's probably obvious that I liked this part specially because of all the "ghost and medium" stuff, but putting that aside, I think that the system that the Fey Clan follows is quite interesting. It's almost like a separate culture. 
Well, yeah!

About the characters, let me begin with Pearl. Such a cute child <3 10/10 would protect :D but I think she's able to protect herself to some extent xD. I'm not sure of how old she is (or if it was mentioned, I forgot) but she's really great! And so powerful too :0. Glad to see her mom cares about her... but uh there is a thing as caring too much.
Anyways I really laughed when I noticed she thinks that Phoenix and Maya are a couple.
My dear Pearl, they're just good friends xD.

I was glad to see Lotta Hart again!!! xD not one of my "favorite" characters but I like her. She's... interesting. And she didn't get less interesting since last time I saw her.
Then, well, Maya is the suspect in the case, but as always, I do really like her. Especially at the beginning because I could see that she was really excited to do her best! 10/10 support her and I want the best for her.
Morgan Fey was also interesting. I'll skip talking about her for now because I didn't get a strong opinion about her at the beginning other than just being interested about her role in the Fey clan.
Detective Gumshoe was as great as always xD though I don't have a lot to say about him either.
Iny Miney, I think she was quite a pretty lady! Such an airhead though. And her overuse of the word "like" made me slightly uncomfortable because I thought of myself and how I use that word a lot (and I'm a bit of an airhead at times too xD). Plus her interest on the occult and that stuff. But well, that's mostly a personal thing xD tbh I was more or less intrigued about her because she WAS there but she didn't seem to have anything special to do with the case, which immediately made me suspicious of her. So yep. Those were my first thoughts.

I have to wrap up this quickly so I have time to do other things this morning xD can't continue typing much here, so I'll just mention that I thought the use of psyche-locks (did I remember the name correctly?) was an interesting addition to the game. A new mechanic! I always like how Phoenix has to use evidence in order to get information out of people, but this makes the investigation kinda easier and is also pretty cool. I mean, being able to see that someone is hiding something and having to do a slight puzzle with evidence in order to obtain a testimony? Cool!
