How can the same person, the same identified person, be murdered in two different places at the same exact time??? And with witnesses in both of those places??? And ONE SIDE admitting to the guilt???

Ngl there's something up with that case they brought up (I forgot the code lol rip) and B) I immediately thought of that one DR trial haha what with the reading of a note upside-down and all xD

Anyways I'm just. Intrigued.
Idk when I'll have time to watch more but woahhhhhhh

Also is the chapter title a reference to Phoenix Wright's name or xD

haha, "Rise from the Ashes" is quite a wild case jflkdsfjlksjf, I remember being very :00000 when I first went through it as well, since some of the things in this case are just super confusing at first

I think I know the code you're talking about but I don't know if you got to the point where they revealed what it was - I can definitely see why you're reminded of DR though haha

I think the case name is probably meant as a double reference to Phoenix's name? Out of curiosity I searched up what it is in other languages and each of the translated case titles make a reference to the idea of "rebirth" in one way or the other, even in the original Japanese where his name is Ryuichi Naruhodou (which I believe has the kanji for "dragon" in it)
It could also be a reference to how Phoenix makes a "revival" in terms of his career, since he had taken a short break from work after Maya went home for training
I can also think of another thing it could be in reference to but that's a spoiler and also I might be stretching at this point

and yeah fjdslfjdsk everyone bullies poor Phoenix for his hair

Two people that I was close to died this week.
I'm not really sure of how to feel.
I knew it was eventually going to happen and I can't say I'm distraught over their deaths,,, and while I'm sad, it's a strange feeling.

In a sense, I'm pretty happy that they were both Christians and therefore had salvation. It gives me a bit more of peace, y'know? It lessens the amount of sad I feel over the deaths even though it still hurts.
One of them was like a parent figure to me, even if all the way in the USA.
