Seeing a hurdy-gurdy also makes me remember my friend haha he said he wanted to play one of those someday

One day I would love to reboot my "The Specterum" RP or something lol

I had quite a bit of trouble playing Among Us last night lol
Because like I glitched and I saw all players as red. No kidding. Everone was red and I couldn't tell who was who lol.
Offline
Also I entered this one lobby hosted by a player named Mark
The thing was that the first round I played there, he banned the impostor (after the round ofc) for being bad at the role. He said "bad impostor goes bye-bye ban in next round" and I was there sweating because like I'm a really bad impostor XD. But then the following two rounds we got good impostors??? And he complimented and banned them after the round lol. So like, each impostor got banned.
And I was like "why" and he said he was imitating Mark Zuckerberg and a meme. I hadn't heard of it till yesterday but apparently Zuckerberg complimented a Facebook user for making a meme of him and then banned him for thirty days? But anyways yeah that was the player's criteria lol. And he was a good player too lol.
Anyways I eventually got impostor and I got banned.

My favourite kind of Among Us players are Mark Zuckerberg roleplayers

I'm the only person in my house who doesn't get bitten by Jasper on a regular basis uwu
Also he only likes to sleep on my lap. Sometimes, but that's something. He isn't comfortable on anyone else's lap for long.

Thanks to a nice OST I decided to check out the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy.
So far I'm in the second case of the first game and it is Very Interesting! I like it.
Offline
Also I'm laughing at the expressions the characters make.
This one I screenshotted isn't the funniest by far (and less out of context) but behold
I can't imagine real life people in a court doing those faces... xD
Offline
Also I found there's a reference to Ace Attorney in the "Lyin 2 Me" song lol hahaha
Offline
ngl ace attorney kinda interests me, with the lawyer debate stuff, how is it? and the gameplay?

!!!!! :eyes:
tell me how it goes!!! I'd love to hear your thoughts
and yes the expressions are great haha I love them so much
@Time:
Ace Attorney is a visual novel; basically you go around playing as a lawyer (usually Phoenix Wright, although in some later games there are other playable characters). There's two main segments: the investigation and the court. In the investigation segments, you talk to people and collect evidence for your case, while in the court segments you listen to the witness testimony and the prosecution's argument, presenting evidence to counter when needed
The gameplay isn't too complicated since the games are very plot-centric, since you're basically trying to help people + solve mysteries as a lawyer
if anyone knows me, I like the franchise a lot fjdslkjflksd

Also yes agreed the OST is fantastic I love Ace Attorney's music a ton

Yes the expressions are priceless hahaha xD
I've been laughing at Edgeworth's O_O faces because like earlier in the trial he was like "-_- I've got this" and then with the other evidence he just,,, XDDDD
Also Phoenix Wright's reactions are relatable lol
@Time
From what I've seen so far, the gameplay's rather simple and straightfoward, and the cases are interesting too.
@Autumn
Let's see how much I can post about it xD and tbh I remembered you while watching!

Oh yes also some of the mechanics reminded me of Danganronpa (especifically the objections and those mini cutscenes with the blue flowy horizontal things??? idk XD) but as Chan's told me before, the games are different haha.
Honestly if the game keeps up with the murder mysteries I'm so in.
Also for the second case XDDD I guessed Miss April May's motive for lying!!! But to be honest she was just acting so sus that,,, XD
Anyways let's go finish the case because I do not know the exact motive for murder yet.
The victim tho

Also I shall be wary of statue-clocks in the shape of The Thinker from now on.

From what I understand, ghosts/spirits are real in the game's universe and that makes me happy uwu
Offline
Misreading "Dr. Wily" as "Dr. Wiley" and immediately thinking of GGaD XD
GGaD is like my life idk

Finished watching that case with the Steel Samurai.
Boy that was fun XDDD.
Also both Wright and Edgeworth were confused during the trial haha that was super funny.
Okay but like why do witnesses withhold relevant information from their testimonies??? And when they lie,,, lies just bring more lies ha.
That kid, I think his name was Cody Hackins? He was fun I liked him. Interesting portrayal of a child xD
Offline
:0 oh dang done with caes 3 already?? you're going through this fast
Phoenix is very much relatable haha, he's great even if he's such a disaster
And yeah!! there are ghosts in this universe!! Some cases use the spirit channeling more than others :D hope you enjoy what they do with them
And yes fjsldkfjdslkfjlk don't trust the The Thinker
As for Turnabout Samurai
it's a fun case! personally I really liked the culprit and the character development that it sets up
As for the witnesses,,, they usually have their own reasons (certain characters have much deeper reasons than others) but it tends to be "oh I don't want to be suspicious/get involved",,, sometimes (especially in game 1) it's also "oh the prosecutor told to me to be quiet". There's a lot of things that you'll see over and over again in this franchise, and this is one of them so you just kinda get immune to it fdskljjslf technically without their lies you wouldn't really have a plot anyway
and Cody Hackins!
:eyes: this means you're Turnabout Goodbyes, then? have fun; this case is honestly one of my favorites from the original trilogy

Yes, I think what I like most about Phoenix is that you can read his thoughts and just... xD relatable relatable relatable. But he's quite intelligent too.
I think he said he was 23? Dude he doesn't look 23 xD he looks like 30-ish, to me at least lol. Though his attitude does match up with his age. Maya being 17 though o_o I thought at first that she was younger because of her attitude but then look at me, almost 17 and still acting very childishly I guess I can relate to her quite a bit too but still I can tell she's really trying to help! I wonder if in future cases I'll get to see more of her ability :D that would be COOL.
Yes, my favorite thing about it was that the whole thing seemed like, wow, impossible to solve until more things were shown. Though Ig it's kinda hard with a client like that xD. And also there's always the possibility that the accused is lying in his testimony... so it's nice to see Wright being aware of that tbh.
I guess witnesses lying can't be helped, and you do have a good point there. It would probably be kinda boring if they all went out and straight-out told the whole truth. Imagine,,,, no tension, no drama, no suspense (and no shocked expressions!)!!! I can definitely say that most if not all of the characters in this series are going to be Very Interesting People xD. They're quirky and the naming... xD the naming oh my gosh XD.
About the ending of the case, there's something I wonder?
I'm not sure if I'mma watch Turnabout Goodbyes later today or tomorrow, but I'm excited for it! It's like, how can I say this, it seems like the game does keep increasing the difficulty by making the cases slightly more complicated (yet everything falls into place once enough evidence is shown and that's just wonderful) and I'm here like :0.Did the culprit get charged with murder? I mean like, straight-out intentional murder? Because I'd think the judge would point out she murdered in self-defense, Ig. At least if I didn't understand wrongly :')
Offline
Yup, can confirm; Phoenix, Larry, and Edgeworth are all 23 in the first game. I could believe Larry and Phoenix but Edgeworth's age really surprised me at first I think
And absolutely valid reaction to Maya haha she's rather childish but she's trying her best. I love her a lot,,, as for her ability :eyes: you'll have to see ;)
And yes! The Ace Attorney games lean heavily on the idea of "turnabout" (hence why it's in almost every case title and the original japanese name for the franchise is literally "turnabout trial"), so everything feels kinda stacked against you until you put together the final piece of the puzzle :D some cases do it better than others but it's usually very satisfying
and haha yeah, this game is definitely known for its colorful characters and the names only get more wacky as you go further xD
Turnabout Goodbyes is a very exciting case! Hope you like it, whenever you get to it :DIt's been a while so I'm not exactly sure? Dee Vasquez killed him in self-defense, but since the trial was for Will Powers and not Dee Vasquez I guess that judgement is left up to player interpretation
Offline
I must agree! It's so satisfying to see the veredict on screen :D and justice being served is just w o n d e r f u l!
Definitely brings a smile to my face :D!

Meanwhile I watched the first minutes of Turnabout Goodbyes and I,,,

He didn't really, right? Miles isn't really...? I dunno what to think.
I do know he is a popular character, but if this has happened,,,, then how????
I want more info. I need more info.
I can sense there's gonna be plot in this (also the video is the longest case so far),,,, but why Miles??????

I might stay up till midnight watching the case or something I just need to know why
Offline
hehe Edgeworth's situation ;) you'll see, you'll see
but nooo don't ruin your sleep ):

I decided to draw so I didn't make much progress, but wow. Wonder if Wright can pull this off??? Literally all the evidence and the situation itself seems so... so against Edgeworth.
Also wow, von Karma does seem like a final boss o.o
