Alma is the Nature Man who can create nature and Germaine can use energy from nature, so imagine just

Of course tho Alma has to use his blood to create plants but he can lose a lot of blood and be fine. You would have to stab him a lot to kill him from blood loss, and his pain tolerance is pretty high. He could fight back unless he sees you as someone he trusts/loves. He wouldn't be able to fight friends. But also in general he doesn't like to fight so yea there's that

HC that military habits sometimes comes back to SF!Echo so sometimes when someone tries to high five her she salutes instead or she ducks down and has to stop herself from punching because her mind registers it as her being attacked

I love how I talk about Alma like he's cool and good at conversations but honestly it's pretty easy to make him panic and not know what to say, and he has a lot of internal dialogue that is him yelling at himself or him laughing at himself 

He's also really bad at picking up social cues, same with Francis but Francis doesn't have the ability to embarrass himself because he doesn't really understand that he's eccentric most of the time, but Francis does know that he talks a lot more than other people do (I think he mentioned before that he knows that sometimes he rambles and rants randomly or goes on spiels and spirals) 

Okay, so I was thinking about this earlier: 

Witchcraft is kinda like a home-styled, countryside type of magic. Kinda like old recipes and stuff, DIY stuff that may or may not go bad. Probably accidentally set a curse on yourself but it's fine. You live in the woods or at least a bit far from a village to practice magics 

Sorcery is more like, private school prestige type of magic. Spells from text books, organized and known to be efficient and low-fail percentages. You live in a wealthy city or in on-campus dorms 

So, anyway, Alma's a witch and imagine if he spoke with a heavy Southern accent and heavy southern dialect because that was all my mind could think about XD 

And by "finally connected then together" I mean that I figured out a way/plot that makes more sense and works better and it's Spicy

she had a fiance when she was around 17 or 18 and they loved each other deeply and were planning to get married when the war ended (and they were childhood best friends too wjbfkqjf I might love that romance trope too much) but he suddenly disappeared one day and rumors went around that the secret police caught him and a few other people planning an uprising against Creator. There wasn't an execution for them, though, so if the rumors were true are unknown 

Silence still has the engagement ring and wears it all the time, and Silence is extremely protective of it. The ring itself is a silver band with a small sapphire and engravings carved into it. On the inside it has both of their names. Silence believes she won't be able to love anyone else (romantically) like the way she loved him 

So yea during when I was crying over this I imagined the proposal which only made it worse and MY HEART-
