AP Human Geo teacher last year, 2019-2020: China doesn't give their citizens enough freedom, and that's why its citizens don't listen to it and why it can't solve problems quickly and correctly. On the other hand, the U.S. does, and that makes it superior in terms of solving problems with the people

Lol what Specter is saying is like the opposite of Wikipedia's implications
It was saying, like, the former president was against corruption and was a centrist and willingly respected Congress' impeachment decision
It didn't say bad things about the 5-day president, but it did say he was far-right or something, which normally does not give me good vibes
And with all the concepts related to authority belonging to the people (popular authority) you'd think the forced resignation was a good thing but ig Peru's Peru and U.S. is the U.S.

I also tried to look into more sources other than Wikipedia but it was either in Spanish or in some other language I couldn't read. And I do have homework still lol
Neither China nor the U.S. seem concerned with Peru lol the former 'cause it's just like that, the latter 'cause it can't afford to focus on how other countries are messing up when it's messing up so badly already

Yeah his approvals were high because he bashed all his political opponents until there was pretty much nothing that was against him on the media and people believed that xD.
And honestly I understand there not being much info other than in Spanish or similar languages lol. With the pandemic going on and stuff, I doubt other countries are much interested in what's going on here

Yeah all I saw of other countries' input were either "I trust that Peru will be able to make it through this difficult transition" (which is honestly kinda like saying you trust in there being a lifeguard arriving at some point when someone's drowning in front of you...hopefully not as extreme ofc) or "The police should stop oppressing the people"
