Silence hit and scraped against a few trees, but managed to keep up well. A few times they came close to running straight into a few trees, but thankfully good luck was on their side today.
Offline
Galaxian's mostly just keeping to his pace, possibly even slowing down a bit.
There's a falcon calling somewhere above the forest.
Offline
Silence got a bit distracted by the falcon, stumbling over themself a bit. They quickly regained their balance and sped up their pace.

"I am being productive!" Galaxian shouts into the air out of the blue.
Huh.
Offline
Silence thought that was a little weird but hey, they are perhaps a bit weirder so it's fine.
Offline
Galaxian prepares to stop--only for a certain falcon to just slam into his back.
It's kinda sad how he's light enough to be just flipped over onto the ground. Then, he rolls multiple times. Then he just falls off the ledge. Apparently the forest ends abruptly with a cliff-like structure, but thankfully, there's some ground coming up soon for Galaxian.
Hopefully Silence can stop in time.
Offline
You think Silence is smart enough to stop in time? Fool. They tried to stop, but they were too late, Silence was going too fast. They also lowkey were confused by what happened to Galaxian so their logic shut off.
They nyoomed right off the side of that cliff-like structure like a freaking idiot.
Offline
Yay for Silence, their side is less steep than Galaxian's.
In fact, it's not too dangerous a ledge. It's mostly just a roll to about the halfway point for Silence.
Galaxian, on the other hand, has gathered enough momentum to tumble all the way down. He doesn't seem too concerned. And for his side of not-intelligent-right-now, he's yet to figure out Silence hasn't stopped before the drop.
Offline
Silence, while rolling, shifted back into their androgynous form. They got themselves able to stop rolling and jumped up to chase after Galaxian.
"OH CRAP! Silence yelled while running after the rolling boy.
Offline
(MOU IKKAI MOU IKKAI)
Silence is unable to catch up the deity, who lands facefirst on the ground at some point in the very near future with nothing broken or hurt but also no response other than a tentative "Oof".
Offline
(YOU CAUGHT MY REFERENCE :D)
Silence was freaking out, having just watched this child roll down a cliff.
They screamed while continuing running down, "HEY! ARE YOU OKAY, KID?! OH GODS, YOU BETTER NOT BE DEAD."
Offline
Galaxian just rolls over and lolls his head back to try to see where Silence is, blinking his scarlet eyes like nothing is off about the situation at all.
The falcon, which had followed his descent in air, lands on his chest with a haughty squawk.
Offline
Silence eventually ran up right beside Galaxian, ignoring the falcon.
"Hey?! You okay?! Are you hurt any?!"
They're still yelling. Very panicked.
Offline
The falcon croaks in a way that signals he doesn't like the screaming going on.
Galaxian blinks. "Hurt? I'm not hurt."
Offline
Silence quickly apologized to the bird and then brought a hand to their chest, sighing in relief that Galaxian wasn't hurt.
"Oh my gods, you took, like, the biggest fall and I thought you were dead! Are you sure you don't have any scratches or anything? Daaaaang, I'm serious, you took a totally bad fall."
They were a lot quieter now for the bird, but Silence was now talking a lot faster.
Offline
"Scratches?" Ironically, Galaxian slightly scratches his head at that. Haha. Very funny. Unlike the narrator, though, he doesn't do that on purpose. "I don't think so."
Offline
Silence nodded and then looked confused, but they didn't ask any more questions.
They held out their hand to help Galaxian up.
Offline
Galaxian tries to grab their hand but his hand goes through theirs.
"Oops." He giggles and then grabs their hand.
If Silence pulls him up, he'll be off the ground entirely, oof.
Offline
Silence, surprisingly gently, helped Galaxian to his feet. They still looked a bit spooked from the whole falling down a cliff.
Offline
Galaxian's obviously nonchalant about the entire thing. He grins. "So I think we tied?"
He's talking about the race again.
Offline
"Huh? Oh! Yea!" Silence nodded.
Offline
"We should race again another time! That was fun!" Galaxian exclaims.
The falcon puffs his feathers up.
Offline
Silence smiled, "Yea, it was really fun?"
They then ask the bird nicely, "Hey, what's your name?"
Offline
The falcon squawks. Are falcons supposed to squawk? Dunno.
"He's called Hayato," Galaxian responds for the falcon, who shoots him a beady-eyed glare and then ruffles his feathers.
Offline
"Cool!" Silence nodded, noting it.
They then looked around to get a good view of where they where.
Offline
They're in a clearing of sorts. The forest seems to have turned deciduous, marked by the boundary of the "cliff", whereas on the other side was mostly made of coniferous trees. However, there are small plants all around.
Hayato hops off Galaxian's chest and flaps his wings furiously.
Offline
"Hmm..."
Silence looked over at the bird, a question forming in their mind.
"Why'd ya push him down, though? That was a bit rude."
Offline
"He does that a lot," Galaxian says, plopping down onto the ground again. "He knows I can't get hurt from anything like that, so he does anything from pecking my head to 'eating' my hair to knocking me over while I'm running."
Offline
"Huh? So you can't feel pain?"
For a demigod, they're quite not good at identifying deities.
"But, like, wait, what?"
