Well, the setting of today's RP is in a forest, and just about now it holds a strong sense of déjà vu.
Leaves are coated in a thin layer of frost, the ground is hard from the cold. The wind is a bit more persistent today. The sky is that cold bluish white that if one was to be inside, you could still tell that it was a temperature to wear thicker clothing.
Clouds are dark stormy grey and are clumping together, signaling that when it rains, it's going to be a hard pour.
As Germaine is doing whatever she is doing, it feels as if she is being watched, which strengthens the feeling as if something similar like this has happened before.

Germaine was hurrying through the forest, wanting to get home before it started raining. She held a lilac shawl tight around her shoulders as she walked.
She felt observed, yet didn't pay the feeling much attention, being more focused on not getting her antlers tangled in some low-hanging branches. The trees in that patch slowed her down a bit.
Offline
A certain winter deity jumped soundlessly from branch to branch to watch Germaine, doing her best to not cause too much disruption to the fragile leaves. She crouched on a branch a bit ahead of Germaine, looking up to the sky and then around the area.
She felt the need to secretly accompany Germaine, just in case something happened to her. Maybe Echo didn't have any memories but a few of Germaine, but the feeling remained. She had been doing this for a while.
The branches and leaves rustled, the wind blowing a bit harder.

((I read soundlessly as soullesly askjdhfsdkj XD))
Wonder how Germaine hadn't acted on the "being watched" feeling before.
Anyways, maybe it was because her senses were on alert thanks to the probably-incoming storm, but she cast a look in Echo's direction without seeing the goddess.

Echo froze in place, staring at Germaine. She wasn't sure how the lady would react to seeing her alive, so Echo wasn't yet going to willingly let herself be seen.
Offline
Seeing nothing, Germaine resumed her pace. She tugged at a bit of her shawlwhich had caught on a branch.
Offline
Echo watched, then giving Germaine time to go past her while she thought of which tree to jump to next.
Offline
Having decided that getting caught in the rain wasn't such a bad thing, Germaine slowed her step. She still tried to keep the cold away though.
Offline
Echo silently jumped over to the next tree, landing on a branch with ease.
A light drizzle of rain started to come, which made Echo a bit nervous.
Offline
Germaine heard the rustle of a branch and again turned briefly to check.
Offline
Echo was nervous sweating, holding her breath.
Offline
Well, Germaine is not going to check that out yet, since she just feels it's a strange coincidence.
Offline
The rainfall comes a bit more harder, but not by much.
Echo didn't mice yet and continue to watch Germaine.
Offline
[Germaine allowed the drops of water that got through the trees to trickle down her face and chair. However, she drew her shawl on tighter. She didn't want to use magic.
Offline
Echo moved to the next tree, snapping a branch in the process. She nearly gasped.
Offline
Now Germaine half-spun around. "Who's there?"
It could be an animal as well, but better check.
Offline
Echo didn't reply, she just watched Germaine.
Offline
Germaine took a couple tentative steps towards the source of the sound.
If she had had a flashlight and a need for it, she would used it. Her vision was special and she didn't need a flashlight in such situations, though.

Echo, in a panic, turned invisible and climbed higher into the tree, rustling the leaves more on accident. It wasn't helping that the tree bark was getting harder to get a grip on from the rain.
Offline
"Hey," she half-whispered, getting closer. "I'm not going to harm you." Germaine thought perhaps it was a squirrel or a similar animal... though it did sound too large to be that, so it probably was something else.
Offline
Echo completely stopped, standing on a branch and peering down at Germaine. Echo didn't know what to do, so she just stood still.
Offline
Germaine looked up through the branches.
Offline
Echo was still invisible, but her nervousness was leaving some more frost than before on the leaves and bark around her. Seemed like she was still learning to control her ice magic.
Echo moved to a different branch, a lot more careful to not move the leaves in the process.
(Ah, yes, Echo, the master of hiding in trees and not knowing how to do things)
Offline
She fingered the cold frost on the bark. Even with the rain and chilly weather around, it wasn't normal.
"Hello? You can come down. It's fine."
Offline
Echo considered it, but then remembered that it wouldn't be too good of an idea. She tried reaching up to a higher branch, not noticing the branch she was on was starting to break.
Offline
Germaine was still puzzled by the situation. She pushed a branch aside to see better.
Offline
The branch Echo was standing on snapped, falling to the ground some feet away from Germaine. Echo had grabbed onto the branch above her, but was having a hard time pulling herself up. Echo was stuck.
Offline
Germaine's attention got drawn to the fallen branch. She quickly ran to it and looked straight up.
Offline
This calls for some more panic.
Germaine could probably see a slight shadow swinging back and forth.
Echo was swinging herself back and forth, preparing herself to grab onto a tree branch over. She let go, grabbed the next tree branch, then was falling.
Looks like Echo miscalculated and grabbed a weak branch, which in return broke from her weight.
Echo, in surprise, let out a yelp and became visible as she fell.
Offline
((Echo as a monkey xD))
Well, Germaine's instinct was to run forward to try to catch what was falling, which she was almost completely sure now was a person.
