Dion keeps on moving around silently.
Offline
"You really aren't cut out for this."
Offline
Dion jumped.
He turned to the source of the voice, wide-eyed and a hand to his chest.
Offline
"The subject is not cut out for combat either. If I were hostile I could have cut off multiple limbs in the time it took for him to react fully," a certain Raez remarked. "Howdy. While Wiles goes to try to raid Rai's fridge, I am tasked with making sure the two of you do not die."
Offline
Dion looked horrified at the possibility.
"Y-You know them toO???"Dion's voice squeaked in the last word, much like it does when he's nervous.
He felt kind of lucky that he'd gone to sleep fully clothed that night. Well, except for the coat. But he was still rather presentable.
Offline
"Yeah. How'd you tell I only know them two?"
Raez is joking, by the way. Though he actually did hear "too" as "twO", which is actually logical for once.
Offline
Dion did some uninterpretable gestures with his hands and arms, probably trying to convey something but not turning out very well, to end up grabbing his head with both of his hands.
"Who??? Are you???"
Offline
"They say I'm not supposed to answer that question? By the way, I'm the dude you just kinda let follow Wiley into Rai's house. Ever consider me being a bad person?"
Offline
"Uh... no...?" He was about to say something, but stopped and instead asked, "Did he manage to open the fridge?"
Offline
"Both your logic and his are beyond me."
Offline
"And why would I care? Right now I want to know where Rai went. Do you know?"
Offline
"Who knows. You're not dead and don't seem set on becoming more logical, so what does Wiles think I can do?" He waved a dismissive wave and started off.
Offline
"Wait, no, don't leave!" He started but then stopped. "Or... leave if you want. I d-don't mind."
Offline
"I mean, I wouldn't leave, but I fear your logic," he said, not specifying how many times Wiley's lack of logic had gotten him--and Rai--into trouble, thus now resulting in his current attitude very easily.
Offline
"But you said you'd make sure I didn't die," Dion said with a slight squint of his eyes. Then, "What logic?"
He doesn't mean that he lacks logic, but it could certainly be interpreted that way.
Offline
"Exactly." The blindingly-orange-haired man turns away. "Who's killing you? No one. Now you, child, should go back to Wiley and maybe make sure he doesn't put chemicals into Rai's food that are supposed to 'benefit' him." He doesn't seem to care what Dion does in the end, though, since he's already walking away before he finishes the sentence.
Offline
Dion clenched a fist at being called a child. It made him feel unimportant for some reason.
Anyways, he stayed where he was after Raez started leaving. Curiosity was still strong, but not as much as before. And perhaps he should try to avoid possible poisoning of Rai...?
Offline
Dion's choice! Raez goes out the door and is gone.
Offline
Dion's not good when it comes to choices.
He ponders his decision for a few seconds.
A.k.a. the Narrator is still doubtful on the action.
Offline
The narrator's fine with either way. Just kinda depends whether you want them to do more work or less. Wiley's chaotic personality is natural with the narrator, but then again, so is the Mamba's and whatever's going on with the other two.
Offline
Dion took into consideration the fact that Rai and the others were probably pretty far away by now, since he had taken a while talking with Raez. It'd be harder to find them now.
Getting Wiley out of their current residence was probably more important.
He turned back and started his return at a slower pace.
Offline
At least there aren't sounds of explosions.
As Dion leaves that other world behind and presumably goes about his business of going upstairs again, he'll realize that once he gets to the front door, it's actually locked.
Uh oh.
Offline
It took a bit for Dion to bring himself to climb all those stairs again...
When he got to the door, he obviously tried to open it. But he frowned when it didn't.
Next thing, he shook the handle. The shaking got increasingly violent.
Offline
A moment, then Wiley yanks the door to the side.
"What are you DOING? You're about to dislocate the bomb!"
Offline
((Why did that make me laugh))
Dion looked at him with a lost expression on his face for a few seconds. Then what Wiley said actually made sense to him.
"Bomb? Wait, WHAT bomb!?"
Offline
"WHAT bomb?!" Wiley's looking at him like--
"What do you MEAN, WHAT bomb?!"
Oh yes, that's his expression.
Also, Wiley has a combined expression between that and looking at Dion like Wiles is the one who owns the place, not Dion. Well, Dion doesn't own it either--technically neither of them do--but yeah, the vibe is there.
Offline
Dion seems half exasperated and half terrified, but that's pretty much what he often looks like too so... yeah.
"WHAT BOMB? WHY IS THERE A BOMB HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!?" He held his arms out to the sides in a very exaggerated manner of expressing that he was very much irritated, though he didn't mean to be exaggerated.
Offline
"Because I set it up?" he says like it's obvious.
(There goes me randomly switching POV tenses lol ignore me)
Offline
"wELL WHY DID YOU SET IT UP"
Offline
"To get back at Line! What else?"
"Line"??????
