The kid was unable to see beyond the fourth wall, and therefore was unable to see the warning as they wrapped their pinky around Galaxian's.
Ribbon, who was watching from above, suddenly tensed. what are they doing? she asked in alarm.

On the outside, Galaxian struggles a bit with his pinky before finally somehow getting it to wrap semi-correctly. He then retracts his hand. "Okay, now tell," he commands bossily.

"We're sneaking into the guild," kid 1 said excitedly. "We're gonna take a quest, so we can prove that we can join and no dumb age limit can stop us."
Kid 2 rolled their eyes. "Quest smest, I wanna go after the spider lady, there's no better way to prove ourselves than that."
"That's Bleakburn's quest!" Kid 1 argued. "You can't take his quest, he'd be furious and never let us join."
"Well then we'll just listen in on his meeting and sneak along to help! And he'll get all the credit too! But secretly he'll know that it was us who was the reason he was able to succeed."

I bite people when they attack me, Ribbon said. sometimes they die, sometimes they don't. When they don't, they make a big deal out of it. I also used to sneak into town for food.
The kids looked Galaxian up and down before huddling together to discuss it. They finally turned back around. "I suppose you can come," kid 1 announced. "But you better not slow us down."
"I'm Alex and he's James," kid 2 said. "What's your name?"
(Yup, she has to deal with it every day. Poor Ribbon indeed >:D)

It took them a moment to understand the joke, but when they did, they both groaned. "You sound like my DAD," Alex complained.
"Yeah, well, they'll be so impressed that they'll let us in anyway," James said.

Can the deity even hate? Oh right, yes he can. That's besides the point, though. Galaxian doesn't approve of stealing and killing, but he understands that Ribbon didn't really have a choice. Hopefully--that's his hopes right there--she'll be able to have more choices later.
Putting aside the fact this place isn't the only monster-hunting faction that might know of her, anyways.
"Into the mission? Into the base?" Galaxian asked, sending her a telepathic: I don't hate you. I'm sure you would've tried to keep it from happening in any case, but you really didn't have a choice in the matter. He sounds a tad bit more cheerful. After I get this done, let's get some real food for you!

Alex tried to swing the grappling hook up, but it didnt even make it halfway before it began to fall and they both had to scramble out of it's way. The grappling hook hit the ground with a thud. He mumbled some excuse about the sun being at fault as he tried again. It made it a little farther this time, but still fell again.

"Yinghe" huffed, as if doubtingly, before backing up a few steps, calculating the angle and distance as well as how much strength was needed. With a telepathic warning to Ribbon that something was going onto the roof in question, he hurled the grappling hook with everything he'd calculated. Hopefully he wouldn't miss, because time was ticking and if he did fail, the fact he needs even more advanced calculations for teleporting, which he usually uses, is worrying.
