I have Xaphan's appearance figured out already xD that part was a burst of inspiration and easy. Kinda.

I figured out a theme song too but hmmm it's tentative. Let's see how the rest of development goes, especially for personality. I have an idea but it's not solid.

So, I think I said something about Germaine's theme song earlier today. 
It's a specific cover of "Kami-iro Awase" by Binaria. Sapphire's cover, specifically speaking.
Why? Well, the original lyrics have a different meaning/focus. Covers almost always change that, and that's why I picked a specific cover instead of the original song.
By the way, the original song is really good! You should give it a check. And yes, yes it's an anime opening. 


I feel that the second part of the song fits her better. The first half is fine, but the second one is better.
Imo a lot of the song is about thoughts and feelings. Let's see what I can get from the lines.

"A tiny movement ticking softly deep inside. A revolution growing slowly comes alive, in time."
Feelings. Feelings and conflicting feelings. Those she keeps inside to herself, becoming more prominent. Specifically, whenever she starts to care about others more than she normally does.

"Look at the world, what do you think? Well, do you feel a thing?"
"Do you belong? What do you do? Who are you?"
The "do you belong?" part could be directed towards her long life. Having been alive for so long, she sometimes wonders about her purpose. If she does not have it clear then she loses her motivation to live. Ultimately, she lives for others, but that's based off her own feelings a lot of the time. What does she think about the world? It influences her actions.  Self-questioning about her values and her reason to live. 

"Right in front of you quick as a flash, don’t let it all disappear into ashes"
Well, Germaine doesn't want to let her work and feelings vanish. She doesn't want to lose the relationships she has--even if her curse makes it so it happens a lot of the time. Still, she makes an effort to make the time she has be worthwhile.

"Maybe you can find the answers, seek out the truth, don’t let fate be the master"
Honestly, if someone could TEACH Germaine to not let "fate be the master" it would be awesome. Things don't just happen because 'they're fated to happen that way', which was her belief at the start of her intro to the roleplay. 
I think she's doing a nice job in getting away from that mindset though. She needs to put more effort into it.

"Don’t hide in the sorrow. Follow the road to a better tomorrow."
This one's easy. If she gives in to negative feelings whenever someone she loves dies, it's obviously not good. Germaine tries to learn from her experiences and implement this knowledge into her future, all while keeping the memory of her deceased loved one(s). "Pain and hope both fight and beckon, take control now, any second," This continues the previous thought. The conflict of pain and the idea of what is going to come in the future. Germaine could choose to hold on to her hope or to succumb to anguish.

And the last line.
"Ahead is the unknown. So which way will you go?"
Germaine doesn't know what's going to come in her future. She doesn't know what is going to happen.
However, it's going to be influenced by her attitude towards it. How is she going to face it?
Again, two main choices are there for her to pick. It's all up to her now.
