Today's postdiving began in the morning because I wanted to check out some things about GGaD!Specter and now it is just my remembering the drama with Allen and Kene B)

Specter is glass deity 10/10
Okay not really xD they body just behaves like glass when injured.

Also I know that they were only shown to be stabbed once (yes I just reread the thread{and I absolutely adore my narrating from it [without counting the typos of course] for some reason}) but there they say "Whenever I get stabbed" which hints at the fact that they've gotten stabbed before
Honestly they're really the kind of person (or not person? deity maybe? Idk) to get injured and then be like "huh. Wait what." staring at their injury or the weapon lodged in their body xD
So clueless. I love Specter.

I also found a post in which Galaxian said something about characters being "not OP, but powered."

Another thread's highlight was that Kewl ended up thinking that hide-n-seek is actually played with guns and people shoot their ice creams while eating them

Remembered that AU idea for Specter babysitting Galaxian. 
"I have no idea of who Galaxian's legal guardian would be but anyways they/he/she hire Specter to babysit him. Watch as Specter lets their curious and excitable nature take over them while failing at being a responsible "adult" and ends up playing and creating chaos with GE. It depends, I mean, if it were a human AU there'd be chaos, but if they had magic then it'd be ten times worse XDDDD

The prototype for GGaD!Dion was female hehe
She was originally going to be named Mikaela but then I went with Dionne
Then it turned into Dion because I made her male.

"Samara 1921" by Ferry would be Kyle's theme song if it weren't for the lines that say
"Oh please, remember, dear mother, was it Samara 1921?
The memory of when the mountain of the twentieth century pinned us down"
because it ties the song to a historical event. Still though, the "dear mother" part is in-character, as Kyle would definitely reference his mother as a beloved person.
Anyways, song here if anyone wants to listen to it.



Highlight on the last part of the first verse, "The same routine to force myself to move my wavering feet. There comes a point when love becomes obsolete, And I believe that that is it."

The question I have in my mind is about the line which says "Somewhere down the line my tender heart has turned to lead" because I wonder, exactly how tender was Kyle's heart? He was/is an assassin of all possible professions, but he did have soft feelings for close ones.

I’ll interlock my hands and eagerly walk
I’ll make this molten body move
And keep my cravings buried deep and on lock
That’s what I’d want, but an electrical shock
Runs through my body as I fall"
This verse is perfection as it's probably the one which most accurately matches up with Kyle's current experience and existence. I'm not sure, however, of what the first line there would mean. I can't figure out what it could imply except that there's a policeman nearby. Maybe a death, as chalk is used in crime scenes?
In that case, it would tie in to the rest of the verse if you take it as that Kyle killed someone without meaning to.

There are many parts of the song which mention a city (and pavement once), so I definitely imagine this in the Modern sect or a more advanced city in the Medieval sect.
I interpret the song as maybe being like Kyle's thoughts with Franz in his mind. Because "I’m sorry, little brother... I try so hard, but I just can’t remember your name", and not to be taken literally, as Kyle does remember Franz even if it's a hazy concept which fades out of his mind at times. "I wonder at what point one man became another" is talking about himself. And the final line in the verse, which says, "Well in the end, though, I guess, to your withering brain it’s all the same", also not literally, but perhaps referring to the time in which he thought Franz was dead.

"The city’s slowly vaporising, These iron bindings come undone" I feel this can be taken as Kyle's consciousness and reason. Literally, his loss of both. That is, having the view of the city fading away meaning that he stops being aware of what he's seeing and doing, and having the iron bindings as his reason/morals vanishing as well.

"I reach out just to hold you one last time, my blood is boiling
This burning air is taking shape, around my throat its heavy arms are coiling, coiling"
Possibly Kyle's experience/point of view with his and Franz's supposed death event. 

And then, the almost final lines which are repeated in the 'chorus' of sorts, "And even if I get to meet you one final time, I’d rather it be on your deathbed." I wonder whom he's thinking about. Going with a pessimistic interpretation, it could mean that he doesn't want Franz to continue suffering if he remained alive the same way Kyle himself did.
Of course, he doesn't know that Franz is perfectly fine at the moment.

In general, the melody and tune of the song give loneliness vibes to me. It seems to match the somewhat pessimistic tone of the lyrics. Also, the fact that the video is in grays/b&w intensifies these effects. It's Kyle's current mood, so that's good (not for him tho).

But not counting the historical lines, the song fits nicely. I'm surprised to find a theme song for Kyle of all people tbh.
I WILL admit that my interpretation takes the song kind of outta context, but hey, one can interpret songs as they wish.
And uh xD I didn't mean to do a whole post with my thoughts on the lyrics; it happened on accident but I hope you enjoyed reading through it lol.
