"Aw, I dunno, I'm outta guesses," Silence said, now standing in front of Galaxian. "So, what's ya name, kid?"
Offline
"I don't really have one," Galaxian says honestly. "But most entities call me Galaxian, short for Galaxian Explosion."
Offline
"Ah, okay! I'll try to 'member that. Galaxian 'Splosion, yeah, okay! I might give you a nickname later though, hope you're okay with that," Silence grinned, tapping their temple a few times.
Offline
He responds, "Depends on what the nickname is."
Offline
"I'll try to think of cool ones then! I dunno what my mind will come up with, but your nickname will be the coolest!"
They stated this with so much confidence that the nickname probably is going to be "the coolest".
Offline
"How does The Coolest relate to 'Galaxian'?" he asks out of genuine curiosity.
Offline
"Because if the nickname is cool, you'll totally be okay with me calling you by it!"
Strange logic.
"And what if you're a really chill kid? I dunno anything about you but you have 'cool vibes' Yea, that's what I sense!"
Even stranger logic, if it could even be called logic. Honestly, it's barely logic. IT'S DIGIORNO-

"Wait, so what's the nickname? 'Cool' or 'The Coolest'?" Galaxian asks as he unintentionally does a rip-off of a certain classical dad joke.
Offline
There was a beat before Silence got the joke, but they decided to answer with, "Hm... how about 'Cool'? Is that an approved nickname?"
(Silence: Ugh I'm hungry-
Galaxian T-posing in the air: hI HUNGRY I'M GALAXIAN-
Silence: *confused screaming*)
Offline
He taps his chin, kind of. "Okay, but how does it relate, though?"
Offline
"Dunno," Silence shrugged. "It just sounds cool."
They emphasized "cool" to try to make a pun.
Offline
"Okay," says Galaxian with a nod as the pun flies way over his head.
Offline
(Jandkqmrn they are both so oblivious when it comes to jokes XD)
"Ooh! So can I call you 'Cool' then?"
Offline
"Yeah," he confirms with another nod of his head.
Offline
Silence clapped their hands together, looking very happy at this.
"Yay! That means we're friends now!"
Wait, that's a little bit of a fast decision-
Offline
"We always have been!" Galaxian says with a jump.
Ditto.
Offline
"We have? Yay!"
I mean, at least they're friends and not at each other's throats, thank goodness.
Offline
If Galaxian's at your throat, you're as good as dead.
"Yay!" he echoes enthusiastically, jumping up and down more. It's kind of weird since he floats as he does so but still ends up on the ground in the end.
Offline
True, true.
Silence does the little clap thing again, very excited.
"Want to walk around for a bit?"

Galaxian sprouts invisible question marks.
Offline
(aH I see my typo now smh I need to sleep let me fix that)
Offline
"Why walk when you can run?"
Offline
"Hm, dunno, I think it's 'cause running takes more energy or somethin' like that," Silence said, trying to answer the question.
Offline
"Exactly! Well then, race you!" And then Galaxian zips off.
Wait, what?
Offline
"Wait?! Where to?!"
Silence started running after Galaxian, determined to catch up.
Offline
"Wherever we're going!" Galaxian tosses back, grinning even though Silence can't see him do so.
Offline
Silence shifted into a large dog, catching up to Galaxian quickly, only around a few feet behind.
Offline
Galaxian is getting faster and faster. Is he letting Silence adjust? Probably. It's no fun to just blink out of visibility because of speed.
Offline
Silence had to shift again, this time into a cheetah, to catch up. They seemed to be enjoying this.

Galaxian is too. The tree is out of sight quickly and then it seems they're just charging through the rest of the woods, which might make a bit of difficulty for both of them, since that means they might have to maneuver around the tree trunks as they grow more dense.
The deity has tried to make the race more fair by turning tangible, so that he too has to avoid the sparse trees, which are quickly increasing in density and distribution with every five seconds. However, his experience with similar terrain and his smaller size likely gives him an advantage.
If he's surprised Silence has shifted, he's not showing it.
