((The sentence with the bullet confused me so much ksfjdkljad))
Dion scrambled outside, trying to get close to Raez for protection.
Offline
(A day after writing for school my grammar is dead)
Raez hauls Dion up like he weighs nothing. But that's before he basically picks Dion up and hauls him towards a certain direction.
Wiley's making a lot of noise in that car...isn't he...
Offline
Dion clung to Raez like a child.
He glanced back at the car.
Offline
Raez is pretty much a bit stronger than he looks. He's also much faster than he looks.
Unfortunately, robots that have been programmed to track them have already mostly surrounded them. They don't look very friendly with all the actual-laser pointers and such.
Offline
"T-t-those things..." Dion mumble-whispered, holding tighter onto Raez. "R-robots?"
Offline
"Yeah, I think so," the pirate, who's supposed to be from the Cyber Sect, says. "So are you cool up there? Or did you wanna come down to fight? And things like that? You know?"
Offline
Dion shook his head no. "I c-can't fight! ThemostIcould... do would be deactivate them... but there'snotimeandIdon'tknow!"
Offline
"Cool," Raez says, keeping it short and sweet as he backs up a tiny bit towards the corner with the most robots. Huh. Curious choice. "Then we'll--Wiley, what in heck are you doing?"
As for what prompted his choice of shouting towards the car instead of reacting more actively to the robots, the holes on their side of the car can probably showcase the reason. Fun fact--bullet holes usually aren't that big.
Fortunately, a robot falls down from what seems to be more of a missed shot. Unfortunately, that's a missed shot. And obviously, the scientist does not respond. That's very reassuring.
"Make the choice for us, buddy," Raez mutters lowly to Dion. "Should I shoot the robots? Or should I shoot Wiley with a tranquilizer first?"
Offline
Dion's pretty unsettled by the situation--he doesn't know how Raez isn't visibly terrified either--but he took a second to think and breathe.
"Shoot him; I don't wanna get hit by a stray bullet!"
Offline
"But which is better?" Raez uses his free hand to indicate the robots. "Being shot accidentally...or shot intentionally?"
"You're terrifying the poor child," Wiley remarks as he flips out next to them. He would've looked cool, but he nearly trips. He catches himself while aiming at the robots. "You do realize they're not shooting?"
"Who's terrifying Dion???" Raez shoots back. Not with a gun.
Offline
Normally Dion would've made a face or something at being called a child. But not now. His normal blush was gone, his skin pale.
"Do something!"
Offline
Raez does do something. A moment later Wiley is pointing...well, nothing. At the robots.
"Priorities," Raez says with a straight face. "Confiscate gun."
For once Wiley's look actually looks somewhat normal. Flabbergasted would be a great descriptor of that expression.
Offline
Dion was mentally preparing to get shot by the robots or something.
Offline
The robots are not moving. In fact, they seem quite shocked.
"Second priority," Raez says. "Be the group in distress and have to rely on Rai to save us and add that anti-climatic part to the ending. Again."
Offline
Dion is just as shocked as the robots.
Offline
The robots don't move.
"Exactly," Raez says. He flips the safety switch on Wiley's gun and cocks it at the robots like he owns them.
"What a thank you," that familiar robotic voice says behind the car. "I wouldn't expect any less from you, Eas."
Rai steps out from behind the car, carefully maneuvering around a crumpled heap of smoking robot. He has his hands in his pockets, but somehow he looks a bit livelier than normal, probably due to his strikingly lighter hair and glowing magenta eyes.
Offline
He stared at Rai.
Dion was just, well, stunned. By the things that had just happened and Rai's looks too.
Dion didn't know what to say and he just stayed with his mouth open.
Offline
Wiley, on the other hand, is grinning. "Rai, Rai, Rai." As if the robots don't exist, he hops in the direction of the cyber agent. "What took you so long?"
"What took me so long?" Rai responds with a slight emphasis on "me". "Why are you all in this situation?" He points to a particularly large hole in the car. "Why is that so rooted with holes?"
Wiley shrugs like it's not his problem. Or the fact his actions is the reason for that inquiry. "All I can say is, it's not my fault it's immobile."
"Right." Rai crosses his arms. "I was going to ask about that."
Offline
"Robots," Dion mutterd simply.
Offline
"And hacksaws," Raez adds very helpfully, causing Rai's attention to zoom to him.
The cyber agent says nothing. The two kind of just stare at each other for a moment. Raez doesn't seem unnerved by Rai's eyes.
"The plan didn't go as planned," Raez explains, holding the eye contact.
"Not completely," Rai says. Is that a half-sigh? He doesn't sound like he's had a good time either.
Offline
"Plan?"
I suppose Dion is still being carried by Raez?
Offline
Yes he is.
Rai affirms that with a nod.
Offline
"What plan? It didn't seem like a plan!"
Offline
"When does it ever?" Wiley rebukes as he starts off running. Yes, towards the robots.
Raez isn't so quick to set off. "Where are you going??"
"You guys shouldn't care! Just follow!"
Offline
Dion's wondering what in the world is even going on.
Offline
"Not so fast," Rai goes, not budging. He fades slightly into the background as he says, "It might not be safe down there either."
Raez nods in agreement.
Offline
"Is it even safe anywhere now???"

"Well, no crap, Sherlock," Wiley says to Rai, ignoring Dion's question and seemingly passing it down as rhetorical. "We nearly had to fight to the death with freaking robots."
Raez nods in agreement to that too. He looks extremely unperturbed.
"So what's the plan, then?" Rai asks. "There are a lot of other robots out there. We're technically at a disadvantage either way. We can't even mow them down with a car." He gestures barely visibly. "Not to mention it's cut in half, so the most it could function as if we repaired it would be some sort of electronic skateboard on huge wheels."
"Strange way to word that, but alright," Raez mutters, now preoccupied with trying to get a tangle out of his hair.

((Asfjkfjtj I'm sorry you're doing all this cool narrating and stuff and Dion doesn't have much to narrate for))
Dion tries to get down to stand by himself.

For someone who literally has Dion over his back with one arm to secure and the other arm being used to help the hand combing through his hair. Raez is keeping a solid grip on the teenager.
"Are you guys going to answer?" Rai asks, crossing his arms, still barely visibly. "Or I'm making the decision."
"You should do that," Raez says. "You're better off as a one-man democracy."
