He frowned. "That's really boring. That's what you'd say before dying? Ugh."
Offline
"Now what would YOU say before dying!? Nobody wants to die!!!"
Offline
"It's rude to ask someone that when your answer isn't very good. And why not?"
Offline
"Don't ask me, ask someone else!"
Offline
"I already did! And he answered properly...hm...how about you?"
Offline
"Look, I can't answer for others, but I don't want to die because I want to keep on living," he huffed. "And I don't like where this is going! Are you leaving yet?"
((Am I the only one who finds it funny that Dion is holding a conversation with a murderer lol))
Offline
"Hah. No. Why'd I leave????"
Offline
"Well, what else do you want to do here?" Dion asked. "Or at least tell me if there's something special you want me to talk about."
Offline
"I dunno, really...they said..." Unable to be seen by Dion, obviously, because of the mask, he scrunched his face up in thought.
Offline
"I'm not patient. If you don't have anything to do then leave. I don't want you here."
Offline
"I'll get it." He ignored Dion.
Offline
It was probably pointless to ask if the other had heard, thought Dion. He still wasn't at ease anyways.
Offline
"Something...about...oh right."
Dion suddenly found himself pressed against a wall.
"I think?"
Offline
"Ngh-!"
Dion was very uncomfortable (who wouldn't be?) and scared. His eyes widened more than they already had, which is a lot. Big eyes.
At least he's staying immobile.
Offline
"Vague. Vague. So vague. Now...what was it???"
Offline
He held his breath.
Offline
"Do I have permission? Maybe."
What?
Offline
Dion is still holding his breath.
Offline
He grinned. "Well, they didn't say I couldn't kill anyone. Just not him. And you're not him!" Somehow, the force holding Dion back becomes stronger.
"Well, little dude happens to be under my protection for a bit. So back off, masked guy," said a familiar monotone voice.
Offline
DIon was about to scream yet again that he didn't want to die--which would have been a very undignified way of acting.
He seemed more or less relieved to hear the voice. But it still wasn't enough for him to calm down.
Offline
"You can see the mask? Wow." The Mamba's mouth was currently forming an "O" shape. "Impressive. But why? He's really rude. I don't even see why you don't let him die. He's useless!"
"The dude wants to get a job," he said dryly. "Guessing even you don't have one."
"Hmmm...not a one under a company! But a job! I do!" the Mamba defended.
Rai wasn't too concerned with getting comfy with a masked murderer. "I've been standing here for a while, watching you and your friend. It's not the A.A., is it? They seem more competent in terms of hiding their visage."
"Of course not." A new voice! Who Dion can't see! "Mamba, please do let him go."
The Masked One does so with a huff.
Offline
((Wow Mamba what a way to ruin Dion's self-esteem xD))
"Well, if you've been standing here why didn't you do anything before!??" Dion screeched in a somewhat muffled voice at Rai.
Not that he had a right to complain. Still, he did. But honestly he was just glad to no longer be squished against the wall.
The new voice unsettled him, even more than he already was. Tonight was scary.
Dion almost felt to the brink of fearful tears, yet he kept on an annoyed expression.
Offline
//o wow he had self esteem?
ok jk jk lol lol
"It happens the Mamba is faster than my gun, so I would've shot you," he said nonchalantly. "Besides, someone was standing in the way of the barrel and is likely fast enough to take it away." It didn't seem Rai cared whether or not his reasons/(excuses?) were substantial or not.
"A gun?" the voice sounded impressed. "I didn't know you had it in you to possess that, Rai."
"Random-but-maybe-not person who bypassed all the defenses in the system I set up and somehow knows my name doesn't creep me out at all," Rai said with faint sarcasm.
It's likely Rai expects Dion to back away from the Mamba.
Offline
((Good question. Wow Rai has a gun? :0))
That's exactly what he was starting to do. Dion bit his lip hard while he backed away.
Offline
Gentle, soft laughter that sounds nothing like someone who would break into a house. "I have my reasons."
"Right. Sooo." Some silence. "Care for a spot of tea? Not that I have any."
"It certainly wouldn't hurt."
"Outside. Where the lights actually aren't disabled."
Offline
Dion is still very much creeped out.
Though... he wants to find out who this mysterious person is, and what they're going to talk about with Rai. He's curious in that sense.
Offline
"Yes. My apologies about that."
"You sound very sincere about the matter, certainly." Rai's sarcasm be still going on, but it's barely traceable. "Come on, then. Dion, you stay inside."
Offline
"Do I have to stay inside?"
...what a question.
Offline
"For the act of staying inside? Yes."
Offline
"Uh," he mumbled. "...good luck."
