"Hmm, well, I guess most of my days are spent painting... so yea!" Francis cheerfully nodded. "What about you? What do you like to do?"
Offline
Dion shrugged. "I do stuff. Not painting though."
Offline
(Is Dion's robotic arm visible?)
"Not everyone enjoys painting, so that's understandable."
Offline
((Yeah, he's not wearing gloves))
Dion just started opening another chocolate.
Offline
"Your arm is cool, the robotic one," Francis said, a slight tilt to his head. "Hmm, I haven't painted metal in a while, so this shall be quite interesting. Thank you so much for letting me paint you!"
Francis seems very happy.

"Cool?" Dion echoed, stopping his action to gaze at his wrist.
Offline
"Yep! It's cool," Francis smiled.

((okay okay stop it with that face XD))
He made a soft noise of agreement. Dion clenched his hand and stuck it into his pocket.
With the other one, he finished opening the sweet's package.

(Okaaaay XD)
"Hmm, hmm, hmm," Francis hummed for a moment before asking a question.
"Do you like animals?"
Offline
"I think I don't mind them?" Dion shrugged while remembering some stray cats he'd seen earlier that day.
Offline
"I love animals. They're so cute," Francis said happily. "I have a lovebird! His name is Mango."
Francis seemed to be trying to keep the conversation going.
Offline
"What is a lovebird?" Dion asked. "I know it's a bird species, but what does it look like?"

Francis' eyes lit up in the pure joy of explaining.
"Oh! They're a type of small parrot with real bright colours. The one I have is orange and yellow on the head, face, and a bit on the chest while the rest is a nice shade of bright green."
Offline
"Sounds pretty."
Offline
"Emm-hmm, very pretty," Francis agreed. "Mango likes to chirp and sing a lot."
Offline
"Do you keep Mango in a cage? Birds might fly away otherwise."
Offline
"Yep!"
Offline
"Huh. I guess it must be cute to have a bird. That's nice." Dion tilted his head. "How's the painting going?"
Offline
"Almost done," Francis answered.
Offline
"Great! And how'd you paint so quickly?" He asked, moving a bit to the side to see if he could peek at the canvas.

(I'm pretty sure I haven't really narrated anything about Francis' hands and I'm too lazy to check sO here we go)
"Oh? Oh! I use both hands," Francis smiled, holding both his hands up for Dion to see. He was holding two paint brushes, one in each hand. His fingernails were painted lavender, and he had a noticeable, black-ink, geometrical tattoo on the top of his left hand that extended to his wrist.
"My easel has a little thing on it that's like a tiny table so I can set my paints and stuff down, which allows me to use both my hands to paint with! I'm ambidextrous. I also just paint a lot, which I guess helps with me painting fast."
Francis noticed what Dion was doing and calmly asked, "Is it okay if I not show you yet? I get embarrassed when showing people art that isn't finished yet."
Offline
((How does he paint with two brushes this guy is a PRO))
"That's neat," Dion said with a slow nod of amazement. "So you paint quickly and well, huh? Sure. I guess I can wait for a bit longer."
Offline
(He has become one with art XD)
"Ah, thank you!"
Francis continued on with painting.
Offline
((10/10 admiration :0))
"Do you just paint all day?"
Offline
(uwu)
"Yep! It calms me, to be honest. Heh, it's kinda like an addiction, in a way."
Offline
He nodded a little bit, eating another chocolate while shifting in his seat.
"So, kind of like a good addiction? Is that possible?"
Offline
"Yep! It's possible to get addicted to anything, even good types of things. For some people, it's music; for other's it's dancing. For me, it's painting. Although, I do other types of art too, but painting's my main."
After a bit, Francis smiled sheepishly, "All done, uh, wanna see?"

Dion was thinking if he should say something to the first sentences. But, "Of course I want to see!"
He perked up like a spring.

"The paint is still drying, but-" Francis turned the canvas/easel to face Dion.
The painting, somehow, was extremely detailed and realistic, the colors vibrant and the shading on point. He had painted all around Dion, including the background, grass, and so on.
How did Francis create such a painting in such a short span of time?!
"-I think it's pretty decent!"
