Depends on type of soup (I also forgot to add in that chicken broth could be used lol)

If you're directly making, like canned soup on the stove, then not very long. Maybe ten minutes

If you're making something at home/not directly from a can, like vegetable soup, that involves multiple ingredients then it takes a while because you have to cook the meat first and the potatoes take a while

And it depends on how much you're making

So, Echo is very,,, not mentally stable. Not after everything she has been put through lol, ya know like watching her friends die, fail to save people she cares about, the whole thing being a child soldier, Octave pushing her towards running away (because Octave views of family and friends are twisted, although Echo's views are as well), the stress of being unable to control her body those few times (Silence, Creator, Octave), guilt of constantly lying, fear of other people, constantly belittling herself, ect ect

So, I'm gonna use this fact of SF!Original Echo for plot, for her,,, "replacement"

Her "replacement" is a lifeless living being.

This version only has a certain goal to remember: steal.

Steal what?

Life. Simply, they cannot live without life, so they steal it, because they were never meant to live in the beginning. Simply, they were only suppose to be a shadow in between multiple worlds, a ghost of some sort. Forced by something to continuously watch the lives of other beings, to always be jealous of lives they can't have for themself. To only simply "exist", but never to live. To never interact or know anyone but themself. But they found a way to escape, and they vowed to never return. To never go through that again, to actually live.

So they steal the lives of others, because they were never born with a life themself. But they can only steal the lives of AU versions of themself, because the AU versions' life forces are the only ones compatible with their soul, and they know that.

So, they find the most weak-minded AUs, they stalk those AUs, and then they talk. They talk and talk until they convince the AUs to willingly give them their life. They trick them, because they think the truth is too cruel for the original. And with that, they replace those AUs, erasing the memories of anyone who met the original, as if the original and other people never met. They destroy any concept of the original, even if it means destroying any dimension the original originated from. They kill off anything that involves the original, even if it means killing living beings. And then, they replace the original. They use the life they got, using it up so they can live. They enjoy the life the original gave away, they enjoy that they are not so simply just "existing".

Until they start running out of life again. Then, they destroy any concept of "Echo" in that universe, as if they never existed in the first place. As if they were never born. Until there is nothing left of "Echo" in that universe. It would be too cruel, they think, to leave a bitter memory in their place. It would be too cruel to leave so many friends with the truth of what they done in the first place. Of course, there are sometimes beings more powerful than them. Even in the first memory wipe, those beings might remember ghost memories of the original..

And then they would know...

...To steal the life of someone else, just for your own selfishness... that is a crime against life itself.

Then the replacement will start over again in a new universe, stealing from an AU who knew no better than to give.

Because "existing" will never be enough for them. Even if they need to go to the extremes... they will not simply just exist.

,,, That's the concept anyway, but idk if it's any good lol. What do you think? Idk about it lol it probably sounds ridiculous lol but I can't really come up with anything

Its a little bit hard to understand, but maybe that might just be me or misunderstood writing. But I think its really good! Though pretty dark.

If im getting it right, it's that they go from universe to universe, living off AU's life force until they run out? Then they kill and erase their existance.?

In a way. They take the AU's life force and use it for themself, and when they start to run out, they destroy evidence that they were in that universe (memories) and move on to another AU
