"You don't need them," comes the reply.
Offline
"Fiiiine, I'll leave them."
Offline
"Mamba. Leave behind whatever you have on you that aren't clothes and mask." Weird way of specifying, but that's how the A.A. does them. Concise. To the point. And weird.
"Okie," the Mamba says obediently, and then right away a knife clatters on top of a LEGO from whence it came--his sleeve.

The Cheetah unclipped a pocket-like thing from the ribbon around her waist and then laid it on her seat.
"But can I take my knives?"
Offline
"No." That's from the A.A., of course.
Offline
"No?" The last part of the word was very high-pitched. "Aww."
However, the Cheetah obeyed. She lifted her skirt slightly and tossed out a pair of small, flat daggers onto the bench.
Offline
Well at least she only carries two. The Mamba's still getting out more knives. Oh gods.
Offline
"Aaand that's all," she mentions, checking herself for any other weapons she might have forgotten. There are none. "Where are we going?" The Cheetah asks for the third time.
Offline
The Mamba's still dumping weapons. He does not seem human.
"Somewhere," comes the incredibly helpful response. Again.
Offline
"C'mon, Mamba, hurry up! I wanna know where we're going!" she urged the other Masked One.
Offline
"I'm on it!" the Mamba half whines as yet another knife clangs to the floor.
Offline
The Cheetah bounced on the tips of her shoes expectantly.
She was dressed pretty informally, with casual clothes. She'd look like a mostly normal not-adult at a quick glance. Her mask was still on the bench.
Offline
"Take your mask," the A.A. says to the Cheetah with half an explanation, "Would be bad if Jackal saw you maskless."
Offline
"Of course, of course," she replied with a dismissive wave of her hand as she grabbed her mask. "I can't forget something as important as this!"
Offline
"The Jackal's around?" the Mamba asks as he dusts his hands off.
The A.A. possibly shrugs. It's hard to tell with how they look.
Offline
"He doesn't come here much."
Offline
"He really doesn't," the Mamba agrees. "It's like no one's in charge."
Offline
"Well, that's okay! At least we can freely play with stuff now."
Offline
"Wait wait, AaaaA. Does that mean we can go out maskless? The mask is tiring to carry!" the Mamba half advocates and half complains, looking to the Cheetah for support.
Offline
"That would be cool!" She exclaims. "Do we need our masks where we're going??? We could just go without them!"
Offline
(Tbh with those kinds of attitudes how have they sustained their existences as MOs for this long)
"No," the A.A. says.
"Great then!" the Mamba says, yanking off his mask and nearly throwing it at the wall. It makes it there halfway before the A.A. grabs it from the air.
Offline
((I wonder. They're just lucky lol))
The Cheetah just placed her mask back to where it was before. She was confident that nobody else would enter the LEGO room, so that was fine.
Offline
Do you want to know what the A.A. is thinking? I do too. Unfortunately, their thoughts are usually not narrated.
Anyways, they reopen the door.
Offline
The Cheetah scampered out almost immediately.
Offline
While the A.A. calmly places down the snake mask, the Mamba bolts out of the room after his friend.
Offline
She's bouncing ouside on the hall(?), waiting for the other two. Or only the A,A.
Offline
The Mamba darts right past the Cheetah and zooms down the hall.
The A.A.'s coming at some point, They're not in a rush. The other two can't get far without knowing the destination anyways. That's why they never told them.
Offline
Smart move!
The Cheetah let out a puff of air and started chasing the Mamba.
Offline
By the time the A.A. opens the door, the two are probably out of sight. Which is also why the two of them suddenly find themselves where they started without any warning.
Offline
((A.A. be like babysitter or smthn lol))
The Cheetah slid a few centimeters forward as she stopped. "What???"
