Francis sat on a bench near his blank canvas, paint brush tapping against his chin as he watched all the beautiful people passing by. His pale eyes studied the movements carefully, picking out the different physical traits and taking a moment to memorize each for a possible later use.
He needed to find the right person, someone interesting. Someone he wouldn't normally paint...
Today he would paint someone different, someone with a different vibe than usual. That's what Francis hoped for, anyway.
The French demigod sighed dreamily, resting his chin on the palm of his hand, continuing to gaze around him as he waited for someone to stand out to him.

It was on that same day, and in that same park, that a certain person was trudging by like everyone else.
He never really did go out much. In fact, this was the first time in the past week that he had left the... place where he was staying. Today, though, Dion had gathered the courage to go out into the bright sunlight and fresh breeze of the park.
Still, he couldn't say he was completely enjoying it. He kept his head tilted down to avoid the passerbys' gazes. Slightly hunched forward with his hands firmly stuck into his white coat's pockets, Dion walked at a rather slow pace.

Francis perked up, taking a moment to study Dion with curiosity. He studied Dion's slow movements, the way his thin limbs moved. He studied Dion's pale rosy skin that seemed to be quite pretty under the sun's rays, Dion's gold and green hair that slightly rustled in the wind. How Dion looked simultaneously older and younger at once, it was captivating! Dion stood out! A perfect model for his next painting! Call it fate, why not?
Francis quickly scrambled up, waving frantically with a large smile on his face, excitement brilliantly radiating from the boy as he starting to jog over to Dion. There was quite a bit of distance, but Francis seemed quite nimble.
"Hey! Hey! You! Uh, boy with blond and green hair! You beautiful being! Do you have a moment willing to spare on me? Hey!"

((I'm sorry XD that description made me laugh))
Dion stopped mid-step, turning to Francis with a very strange look on his face. It changed to 'what' after he'd finished talking. The energy was disconcerting to the teenager, even making him feel slightly uncomfortable.
"E-eh?"

(Good XD)
Francis happily continued to to run up to Dion.
"Okay! Hello! Sir, I was wondering if I could paint you?" Francis smiled, now sounding a lot more calmer and softer as he got closer. "I don't have much to pay you with other than candy, but I promise you won't be disappointed in the painting!"
Now up closer, Francis confirmed in his mind that Dion was the absolute perfect subject for his painting that day. Francis took mental notes of Dion.

He looked up at Francis. "I.. uh..." What to say?
"I don't like paint on my skin. Much less on my clothes."
Offline
"Oh! Don't worry, I will be painting on a canvas, but the subject will be you, if you allow it," Francis clarified. "I'll just need you to sit nearby so I can paint you accurately."
Francis has the physical expression of ":D".
Offline
"And why do you want to paint me?" He asked, softly rubbing the side of his hair. "I don't know you."
Offline
"You're different! You have this... this vibe that I can't explain, but I must paint you. You have nice features that just... you just stand out, but in a good way! You're the perfect model for my art!"
A tad bit eccentric, this one is. Francis seemed to not be able to even explain his own thinking, but he was most definitely genuinely complimenting Dion.
"Oh! My name is Francis, by the way. Sorry I didn't introduce myself."
Offline
"You don't need to point that out," he huffed in reply to the first few sentences. A bit of a blush formed on his freckled cheeks. "Francis. Okay."
"Uh, I actually..." Dion was thinking of an excuse to get out of there.

"Did I mention that I can give you candy for the trouble? I have chocolate," Francis quickly added, trying to find some way to get Dion to stay. "I promise I won't take long, and I can even give you the painting when it's done."
Francis looked hopeful. He must really want to paint Dion.

((When nobody teaches a child to not take candy from strangers...))
"Only if you don't take long, I guess," he said, faltering a little. Dion's already large eyes widened at the mention of chocolate. "Hand it over. The candy, I mean." He held out his hand.

(XD When nobody teaches a child to not offer candy to strangers)
"Okay! Follow me!" Francis turned and went back over to his canvas, immediately shuffling through a large bag on the bench that he had brought with him. He pulled a rather large paper bag full of candy from it and looked up over at Dion.

Very obediently, though still slightly wary, Dion followed Francis.
If his eyes could sparkle, they would've done so at seeing the amount of candy that Francis was holding.
"A-all of that!? What do you need me to do exactly?"
Offline
Francis smiled, "I just need you to sit here and let me paint you on this canvas." Francis moved his stuff some feet in front of the bench and then handed Dion the bag of candy.
Offline
"I can do that. Don't take long," he repeated.

Francis nodded, "Okay." and waited for Dion to sit down. As soon as Dion did, the demigod went to work on his canvas.
And immediately started chatting away while doing so. (:
"So, what's your name?" Francis asked, peering over his easel as he worked.
Offline
Dion first examined the envelope of a chocolate before replying. "Well, you can call me Dion," he said while opening the sweet.
Offline
"That's a nice name," Francis nodded, noting Dion's name into his mind. He repeated it mentally a few times. "Has a nice ring to it, I think."
Offline
"You think?"
Dion's reflex blushing started up once again. He put the whole chocolate into his mouth.
Offline
"Mm-hmm! It suits you."
Offline
"Mh. I never thought about that."
Offline
"Hmm... your hair is nice. That shade of green is quite pretty."
Offline
Dion rubbed the tip of a strand of hair with his fingers.
"You have green hair too. "
Offline
"Yea, I like to dye my hair," Francis nodded, mixing some paint together. "Gives it a good vibe, makes it less plain, ya know?"
Offline
He nodded.

"It's really nice out today," Francis continued on. "The sunlight is just right, and the breeze is nice."
Francis seems to be the kind of guy who says exactly what he thinks as he is thinking, so this conversation might become random.
Offline
"Yeah," Dion replies. "Are you halfway done yet?"
Offline
"Almost," Francis answered, glancing around his canvas. "I'm pretty fast, eh? Maybe it's because I paint so much. Hmm... but anything with enough practice becomes easier for someone to do, I guess."
Offline
"Yep. Do you always paint?"
