"So then, how did you do it?" He asked.

The dude didn't even know they were still physically the same. All they can do is nearly look to the side before forcing their gaze back to Elio. "I know not," they confide.

Aereon walked up to the area in which the 'action' is taking place. She greeted Elio and the other mages with a "Good day" and offered a distracted nod to Martin. Then, she focused on Kiaane.
"So it's true," she said. "You're here too now. Finally."
Martin's face showed a light hint of excitement at Aereon's silent greeting. He still was silent, his lips tightly pressed together.
Offline
Elio just sighed, "Well as for now it seems It'll stay as an unsolved mystery."
Offline
Kiaane nods slightly to Elio before affirming what Aereon had said as well, casting their eyes downwards slightly. Perhaps they're still perplexed by the situation, or perhaps it's just something they feel like doing at the moment.
Offline
Ignas walked into the courtyard, he seemed he was actually glaring at Kiaane. Or was he? he was pretty far away.
Offline
It doesn't really matter to Kiaan whether they're being glared at or not. To them, Ignas is actually far out of range, unless he chucks something at them, of course. Then he'd be in-range. Like usual, the concept of being formal or even just giving a normal greeting seems to be out of Kiaane's mind, probably floating somewhere elsewhere.

Aereon was looking all over Kiaane. She gave a nod, which was a nod of approval. "You seem fine. I trust that you'll be able to resume regular activity and missions soon? Perhaps you need some time to rest now."
Martin decided to talk. "A-aren't you hungry or anything?"

(Me, just wanting to be mad at Aereon: rUdE)
Well, as Aereon's looking at Kiaane in whatever directions she's looking in (up? down? left? right? sideways?), they seem completely fine. They're still as fit as they were before, and none of their appearance implies an unhealthy lifestyle, even if that's kind of the way they live. They're not really tired in the conventional sense, since they've never seemed peppy and excited either. It's not as if they're not standing straight or like they're not at their full height--they're doing both of those things.
"I am completely functional and almost completely efficient," they state vaguely and concisely to Aereon, shaking their head slightly to Martin's question. The manner of which they do both is about the same in terms of effort, though perhaps they appear to be giving Aereon unsplit attention.
Offline
((Understandable lol))
"Good," Aereon says laconically, as if Kiaane's way of speaking prompts her to reply in a similar way. "Rest for a while. There are spare rooms in the main building," she mentions while gesturing to the partially-repaired ruins. "Or look around if you wish. We'll discuss what to do with you later."
She nods to Elio, waiting for confirmation.
This time, Martin says nothing. He just looked at the ground.
Offline
Elio nods to Aereon with conformation, he then turns his attention back to Kiaane, "Almost completely efficient?" He asked.
Offline
"Coffee will increase efficiency," Kiaane specifies logically. They don't know the time, so they glance around briefly for some telltale shadow. Or maybe they're just looking for coffee. Or even perhaps they're just looking at everyone around. Or maybe that's their "looking around" that Aereon referenced. Who knows?
Offline
"Ah. Of course." Elio said with a smile and a nod, "Where were you before you were summoned here? Do you know why we could not transport you here with multiple times we tried before?"
Offline
"There is some coffee ready to be made inside." After speaking, Aereon crossed her arms, listening carefully.
Offline
(Then I read coffee as "coffin" and that's great)
"I was," Kiaane starts to answer, then a flicker of uncertainty passes through their thoughts. In part it's because they don't know the answer, and on the other part it's because Elio asked two questions. You see, they don't do well with multiple questions. "You tried...multiple times...?" they say, less of a confirmation than just a repeat of what was said to them.
Offline
"Aye." He simply replied.
Offline
((Kiaane: I must increase efficiency gimme my coffee))
Offline
Kiaane's efficiency with questions is hopeless, with coffee or without. They offer no further verbal response, instead contemplating the ring on their arm once again.
Offline
Elio sighs, "Ok, one question at a time. First, Where were you before you were summoned here?" He looked over to the ring on their arm. It was definitely interesting. What could it possibly be? Maybe some testing later on will help find out.
Offline
((Is the ring also around Martin's arm still?))
Offline
(Nope)
The mage lowers their arm slightly, which causes the armor on their shoulder to obstruct the ring. Even with their arm held at their side, their posture is somehow awkward.
"There were ruins," they answer, too concisely to be very helpful. There's a reason why they don't really give mission reports.
Offline
((I thought it was just on Kianne))
"And any name to these ruins? Can you explain more?"
Offline
Elio's two questions make them pause again. It's not a matter of them being not intelligent enough to understand two questions--it's just their way of thinking. "No. Possibly," they say, furrowing their brows ever so slightly at the latter.
Offline
With the first question answered, Elio repeated again, "So could you explain what these ruins look like?"
Offline
"It would be helpful, but is it necessary?" Aereon asked Elio. "They're here. Isn't that what we wanted in the first place?"
Offline
Elio sighs, "Very well then. We'll ask him about this later."
Offline
Kiaane slightly opens their mouth to respond, but Aereon cuts in before that. They lift their brow slightly, possibly to indicate uncertainty.
Offline
"Well," He nods to Kiaane, "Well, go on, eat something, rest up."
Offline
Kiaane nods and then just backs up. After about five steps they turn on their heel and walk away.
(Are we doing the awkward family dinner thing ? )

((I don't know. @Time, are we doing it?))
