(If anyone from the stone castle domain wants to join in, feel free to do so. @Fallon, @Eliza, @Specter, specifically.)
By popular, that means two guests in a relatively short amount of time. Or, supposedly, it's a guest, considering that he's knocked on the door. Three times--that's how many times he does it--and it's quite easy to tell that it isn't Galaxian this time from the firmness of the way he does it.

Rune looked up from a book she was reading in the library when she heard the knock echo down the hallways. Quickly, she got to her feet and started towards the door. Seems like there's been a lot of visitors lately, she thought, pulling the door open. "Can I help you?"

"I'm sorry for the interruption," the visitor says. He's stepped back from the entrance a little, a man above 6 feet tall with light beige hair and a very natural smile. "Are you Rune? I was directed here in light of a work opportunity. I didn't know another way of reaching you. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience."

Rune studied him for a moment and then shook her head. "No, you're just fine! Did Time or Chronos send you here, by chance? They mentioned sending a mage over to help."

"Time and Chronos mentioned this matter and went into more formal specifics, but I'd say that a certain child bugged me to come here," he answers cheerfully. "I do think Time and Chronos will have a larger faction of their experienced mages coming here after me, but for now I wouldn't associate my coming here with that group yet."

Luna poked her head out from a wall, watching the newcomer cautiously. Truth be told, she didn't really care if somebody replaced her "job" as a security lady.

"Oh, I see." Rune stepped back and held the door open wider for him to come in. She offered him a smile. "Why don't you come on in?"

Nagesh notices Luna and gives her a small wave as compensation for the greeting he's unable to give otherwise.

(Ok so I think I posted 30 seconds after you XD)

(Before actually xD)
"Thank you." He obliges, following her in, though not before making sure his shoes are clean at least.

{Oh woops XD}
"This way!" Rune began heading to the room she had made a parlor. "Are you hungry at all?"

"No, but thank you," the mage responds with a polite grin, following after her at a moderate pace. He's surprised to hear her...well, informality, but he supposes he wasn't expecting the most formal interview or anything at any cost.

"That's good to hear. I'm not all that great of a cook anyway." Chuckling, she led him into the parlor and took a seat. "Am I supposed to interview you or something?"

He laughed as well, shaking his head in denial of her apparent lack of cooking skills.
"I think I expected one, but I just might be a bit too formal," he says, his grin not diminishing at all. "If anything, I would love a free job, but I do want to make sure that what I can do fits what you need."

"That's fair," she agreed, taking a moment to pause. "Well, of you're a mage, what's your main focus of magic?"

"Magic," he jokes, but becomes a bit more serious in light of the question. "I call it Abstractedness," he responds, now a bit more somber. "It's a personal term for my field. Please excuse my lack of viable definition otherwise, but...it centers around the manipulation of ideas and other types of magic."

She slowly nodded. "I see. Can I have a demonstration, maybe?"

Conceptual manipulation in most any form is extremely dangerous, so Nagesh thinks for a few moments. He laughs slightly, but he seems to have thought of something.
"I hope you don't mind using this as an example," he states, taking out six dice. He stops slightly, his grin resurfacing. "I don't gamble, by the way."

"I don't mind." Rune watched carefully.

Nagesh trains his eyes on the dice. At this closer distance, Rune may be able to see that he has strange eyes--he has no pupils at all halfway down, with only the upper half of his pupils on both sides being visible. He doesn't chant anything. He just holds it in his hands and steadies his grip on them before loosening them again.
"Would you like the honors of rolling them?" he asks, offering them to Rune.

"Sure!" Rune took the dice from him. After giving them a quick shake in her hands, she let them go onto the table.

Every single one of the die rolls a 6.

With a small frown tugging at her lips, Rune rolled them again. "Are these weighted?"

"No ma'am," Nagesh says as they all roll a 6 again. "I used my abilities to mess with the probability."

Luna had quietly followed them in cat form, and her eyes widened when she saw the dice. Instead of asking how his magic worked, she just hopped into Rune's lap to watch and hope that Nagesh would explain it himself.

"I see." Though still not completely sure she understood his power, she handed him back the dice and scratched Luna between the ears. "So you work with probability?"
