I might go back to China if opportunities and circumstances are well but I just don't really see a future there, I have cultural differences and I also have learnt in English (at least for science, which I would plan to major in) my whole life. Oh yes the fact that "Light of Dual Wings" is basically writing a farewell message really just,,, it gets me every time. Because it's kind of realistic, you know, but also not, that the song deals with how one soldier has hopes for the future but at the same time there's no way she would be able to convey all those hopes for the future.
Most sacrifices are gone unheard. And they never were supposed to happen in the first place except for human greed and ambition that drives them to use other humans as tools. In a true war, the Gold Saints probably could have never given their hopes and goals to the Bronze Saints. They would have died alone.
So smh at evil Saga for like three seconds rn.
I wonder if Saori would've been a better Athena if she were raised within Sanctuary. Then again Sasha wasn't really raised in Sanctuary since birth either, and she did just fine.
Also has Saori ever extensively bled from externally inflicted injuries? I really do not recall

Ok but can Athena ever be put slightly in the wrong as a deity, like dealing with Medusa and Arachne? I'd really like to see an Arachne character, I'd love to see development there.
No SS deities are perfect, including Athena. I know she starts off as a justice and wisdom deity and all that but she still be kinda dumb, like ok fine why don't you just renew the binds on the Specters like the day before they break? Or even a year in advance? Or like why don't you reincarnate with some background knowledge if you hate your Saints dying? Saga, Camus, etc. wouldn't have needed to mark themselves as traitors and worse than vermin if she just did that. And also I get that she hates weapons, but,,, imagine if Seiya and Ikki in the Hades Elysium chapter at least had a normal sword to try to parry those swings. And like I still don't get why Hyoga wasn't spliced in half in the Twelve Temples arc when Seiya and Shiryu never really trained with weapons before and then decided to use a weapon to free him, like how do they know how to handle it??? They're far from genius lol

My first appreciation for SoG is how the Gold Saints (and their enemies) kinda use tactics--for instance, Mu faking his weakness to an extent to learn more about the tree with the ridonkulously weird name, Loki keeping the Gold Cloths thing a secret, Surt just being a bastard in general with his traps and lies, etc., in Seiya's case it's basically disregard all circumstances since you have the main character halo anyways and you can't bleed to death.
Ig the Gold Saints are combat geniuses and such so it makes sense but then again why do they lose so much???
SS doesn't make sense a lot of the time when it comes to logic lol

Ig the only people who don't kill him right away for reasons other than arrogance are the Gold Saints noncanonically
They say "One technique doesn't work on a Saint two times" and then a main character Bronze fights a Gold and then that rule magically voids on the Gold
