Germaine smiled at the sight since she thought it was cute. But she continued her search.
Offline
"It's indeed cute," That Demon Guy says nonchalantly from somewhere behind her.
Offline
She spun around at the voice, looking for the source. "Of course it is," Germaine replied with a frown in her voice. If that's possible.

It's standing there with its ??? height, grinning. The remnants of the body is nowhere in sight.
It makes a quick imitation of a swoon. "Awww, so adorable." It snaps out of it a moment later just to say, "You couldn't find me, by the way." He juts his lip out. "Big pity on you."
Offline
Germaine shifted so she would be crossing her arms. "One doesn't walk away from another person like that everyday."
Offline
"I thought we went over the 'person' thing already," it says. The mother and child have long since walked out of earshot, by the way. "Neither of us are mortal, hmm?"
Offline
"Rules of etiquette transcend mortality and race," was her reply. " But what are you?"
Offline
"An im-mortal," it says, with the break in the word where the hyphen is placed. "Though, I'm sure mortal etiquette says you're not supposed to poke your pretty nose into someone's business." It bats its eyes briefly before laughing like it finds itself funny. Perhaps it does. "Am I wrong, mortal-but-not lady?"
Offline
"If I saw something similar to what you were doing before happen again, I'd get involved anytime."
She did find the other's last phrase strange, and it showed on her face. Like... nobody had ever referred to her with that definition. A definition which was accurate.
Offline
"What was I doing? Carrying a dead body?" it questions, following that with a "Pfftt."
"You think I was the one who killed it?"
Offline
"Maybe, or maybe not. I have no way to know. But the action of dragging..." she shook her head.
Offline
"What about it?" It grins, then repeats, "What about it?"
Offline
"It's just not right!" Germaine exclaimed with passion, clenching one of her hands.
Offline
"It's just not right!" he repeats with a similar clenching motion. "Why not?"
Offline
A light narrowing of her green eyes indicated annoyance. "Nobody in their right mind does that. Only psychopaths and sadists."
Offline
"Who said I'm in a 'right' mind? Hmmm?"
Actually, your 'mind' is completely ok. You're just screwed up, Akum--
"Who said any of us are in the right mind? You, me!" He points in a wild circle, swiveling gracefully. "HA!"
Offline
((Akuma is obviously in a left mind lol))
Germaine shook her head with a >:/ face.
Offline
"Well, lookie," he says after imitating her expression again. It holds its arms out at a small angle, non-symmetrically. "I don't have the body anymore! You don't have a reason to follow me around anymore! And you're not interesting anymore. So, bai-bai." With that, he starts walking away again.
Offline
He was right. The body wasn't there, and Germaine had failed to notice that.
"Where did you put it?" She demanded.
Offline
Having apparently bade his farewells, albeit rudely, it wasn't going to answer.
Offline
((Is this the end then xD))
This time, Germaine didn't start after him. She just stood there watching.
Offline
(Probably :D)
Offline
((Alright then, can you archive it uwu))
