I don't think I ever actually evaluated Owari no Seraph's anime after reading it, my bad if I did, my bad if I haven't.
For one,,, I very much enjoy the art style. I love how much thicker the lineart is (and the manga art is GORGEOUS) and the overall aesthetic is pleasing. The uniforms are great, let me say that. (Haha vampires have long legging-like boots, those are great.) Next, some characters' individuality and how they don't act like one would think they would really comes out.
However, I don't think the twists that were put in were surprising at all. The anime itself was weirdly paced imo, and there was either little action that interested me (or I was like 'what is going ON' in that bad sense, not in the 'oh my gods I'm surprised' sense) or so much was blowing up over like no context that I was somewhat confused. Characters in terms of how they were depicted went all over the place and everyone seemed to be dragged together in the end and the spotlight was shone on the main character who, might I add, started to become more tolerable for a bit and then just spiraled back into the 'please no' category. The deuteragonist started off on an interesting premise but not enough story was offered on his end, making it easy to misunderstand his motives and character and, to me, making me dislike him when I had started off somewhat liking him. Finally, most of everything was in my opinion left so vague that people could twist whatever happened very easily, and until the end of the second season no clear ending or plot direction was really offered at all (and I still wouldn't know who the primary antagonist was; like, one would think that'd be the goal).
If there will be a Season 3, I think I would still watch it, but it wouldn't be high priority (like if I'm invested I technically check a lot, but I'm not too interested). Overall, some individuality but with a high likeliness to Shingeki no Kyojin, and unfortunately, the plot still isn't carried out as well. Overall, I'd really have enjoyed it if the theme were made more prevalent (that's why I watched it, to re-see the prevalence and beauty of family and familial love), but nope.
Overall, not horrible--I've heard really bad ratings for other anime before--and I like the fact that the show doesn't go on weird directions (like,,, AgK! with its beach scenes and,,, uhhhhhh yeah, stuff like that? Uh huh), but still, there was a lot it could improve on.

Ok so about OnS's main antagonist figures (spoilers)
-Galaxian-1. One would think it's the guy trying to rule the world but most speculate that Guren will kill him. His motives aren't really explored and from what I'm able to see he's just a pompous jerkface.
2. Guren Ichinose - That jerk who ends up half(?)-possessed by a demon with no context by the end of the second season whatsoever, motives and goals are unclear
3. Ferid Bathory - Bastard vampire, likes murdering children, ambushed Krul by the end of the second season but no one has any idea what he does anyways so,,,

Why do bad guys always look like they had fluff at some point once their arc is over?
Look at COUR
You wouldn't think Lameer would be the type to be the kind of person he was in that picture would you

Ok but like COUR kinda be unimpressive
Like at first they're like a genius evil science organization but then they each started dying off really easily
And then you have Ya Li Shan Da who has a pretty good grasp of time control, to the point that Li, his host, was able to deduce quite a few things no others of their time would have been able to deduce regarding the protagonists' situation (even in a scenario where he didn't even EXIST he was able to help them deduce the true identity of a world), and Ya Li Shan Da's techniques were, although stolen, unable to be used to full potential by another COUR member

So I did have to replace Undine with another Mage because she by herself is a natural 2 star, so the new magus is none other than Jeanne d'Arc.
Undine's still on the back lines though uwu.
