(I thought about this for half a month and it's still half-baked, so please bear with me)
...Hmm, this can't be good, can it?
Unfortunately, it's the middle of the night (in fact, it's 2:35. A.M., of course), so Dion should probably be asleep. Rai hasn't checked on the other for a while, but as usual, he's...well, not sleeping. He's mostly typing away on his computer in another room, the light dim and barely doing anything to evade the room from darkness.

((OwO))
Dion is, in fact, deeply asleep. He moved a little to the side and sighed (he's probably dreaming or something, who knows) but he's still sleeping.
One of his eyes is half-open because of the way his face is squished against the pillow's side. The tiny cyan spots in his eyes cast a very dim light onto the pillow because it's very dark. But Dion himself isn't aware of this.

(Creepy zzz vibes huh)
At some point, Rai feels like something isn't right. He doesn't tense, but he does switch to another tab on his computer. After a bit, a whirr goes through the building.

((uwu))
Dion is still sleeping. What can a sleeping person do?
Offline
At some point, the bed jolts, though.
Offline
Dion jumped into a sitting position at the sudden movement. He blinked several times while tidying his hair.
"Hu-uh wha-?" He looked around, seeing nothing because of the darkness.
Offline
Rai wouldn't know. He's currently not even standing up, just looking warily at his screen.
Offline
Dion rubbed his eyes with his right hand. He checked his own screen for the time, sleepily squinting at the glow.
Offline
It's 2:36, it seems. Then, before his eyes, the 6 jumps right back to a 5.
Offline
Even though he was just 3/4 awake, Dion noticed that something wasn't right. He tapped his screen twice while looking at it strangely. Then he blinked and looked at it again.
((Do you want him to do anything specific? Stand up, go somewhere else, go back to sleep?))
Offline
(Do not go back to sleep)
(Is there a seconds thing for his time display, or no?)
Offline
((Yes))
Offline
The seconds display is...well, it's going backwards, then forwards, then backwards, toppling on the edge between the two.
Offline
This is weird, he thought. Sleep had finally left him completely. Dion put his legs over the side of the bed to stand up. Maybe he could see if something was malfunctioning with more light. I don't recall ever having a problem like this.
Offline
Was there a knife in the wall behind him before, or was that, like, new?
Offline
Dion somehow saw the knife. It took him a moment to process what it was... but when he finally noticed, he started in alertness.
Dion stood up and went to turn on the lights, his step wary.
Offline
The light switch didn't work. It clearly flipped up, yet it did nothing.
Creepy creepy.
Offline
Dion frowned and attempted the same thing twice again. He briefly considered calling for Rai, but the other was probably off doing other things and didn't want to be bothered.
He edged along the wall. The next thing he did was turn the brightness on his forearm's screen to the max and shine it around to see if something was there. Also to see if there was anything abnormal.
Offline
(O no he's too considerate)
Another knife! Lodged into the bed this time.
Offline
This time he let out a squeaky sort of sound and started to move towards the exit.
...
Perhaps it was just a dream?
Offline
Is that supposed exit the front door? Does he not read horror stories?
Offline
Dion does not seem to recall said stories, if he has ever read one. He continued going to the door. His speed increases with every step.
Offline
He bumps into someone.
Offline
Dion half-hoped it would be Rai... but thought it unlikely.
He gingerly raised his light to see whom it was.
Offline
He gets a glimpse of a tall intruder (not as tall as Rai though) before the light goes dead. Or rather, it's not so much as dead as it's just not shining on anything outside a one-inch radius, which isn't very efficient at all.
Offline
And now he's twice as scared. Dion shook his arm violently to try to fix the light, to no avail.
"Rai!" He yelled while quickly backing up several steps. "Rai!"

(I find it ironic that your nickname is the one that could mean a terrifying apparition and I'm the one scaring your OC)
The other doesn't respond. In a time like this, it's unclear whether the other can't hear or is choosing not to. The second makes more sense, but there are also more possibilities...
By that, the narrator means, he could be physically incapable of responding, or he could be deeming it wise to not respond. Dion's mentality can take its pick if it thinks alike to Rai's narrator.
Other than that, no response. Absolute silence, as if anyone in the room--somehow--were waiting to a pin to drop and break the silence.
Offline
Dion bit his lip, checking once in the direction of where the other person (or being) had been. He turned around now and went full speed to take cover behind the bed.
Probably not a good idea, since whoever is there could just follow him.
It's kind of sad that he doesn't know how to act. But hey, he can't really be blamed for not being used to possibly life-threatening situations.
Offline
Hmmm. Now, where could he have gotten a drive to react in a similar situation?
(That was a cruel pun I'm sorry lol)
When he does get under the bed, the light from his arm flickers back to life again, as if momentarily pausing in the suffocation from the dark.

((I laughed XD don't make me feel guilty lol))
He was very slightly relieved by the light working again, but even then that wasn't much relief. He made an effort to curl up as tightly as he could yet stay alert to bolt out on the other side should anything happen. More than anything, Dion is trying to pull his thoughts together to calm down some. Though that is definitely a hard thing to achieve.
But maybe this is just a bad nightmare... or maybe not. Perhaps yes? He shouldn't hang on to that possibility, he determined.
