Oh I remembered another thought from yesterday night
It was like, 'Why did they draw Run as literally spamming the feather projectiles in basically his only fight scene in the anime?' I'm pretty sure Run can aim perfectly well and spamming depletes his own energy and all so like, yeah, that's always struck me as weird, and also how Leone can pick up a pillar without being hit once like, yeah, again, I'm pretty sure Run can aim. And from the dents in the pillars I'm pretty sure he'd keep aiming at those spots and ultimately maybe nick Akame, Tatsumi, or Leone
Idk, I feel like some injustice was done there.

Like I know Run probably can't aim as well as Hitan, but Hitan has a grasp of magic and telekinesis combined that makes him more able to do so. And even though Run's 23, I'm pretty sure he has less than 5 years of experience, while Hitan's been fighting all his life (20 years chronologically). But at least Run wouldn't just randomly spam? Idk

I meant 21 years chronologically. Hitan's birthday was November 15th last year, idk why I keep forgetting.
He'll be Run's age in one year and 4 months and 28(?) days lol.

I enjoy fluff so much more than angst (I actually don't really enjoy angst? I like talking about it but I hate executing it) but I'd only be able to write small portions if I couldn't write angst.

Okay but you can't convince me that Run wasn't loyal to the Empire. Okay sure he was aware of the corruption and his first goal was vengeance, but he also wanted to change it from within for a reason. He didn't need to join the military to just track down the killer of his students, even though it did end up helping. He could've been a renegade. No, he explicitly stated he wanted to change it from the inside. That's an integral part of his character.
And even if it wasn't his first priority, he also clearly valued Wave and Kurome at least (idk about Esdeath and Seryu and Stylish and Bols, but imo he just didn't visibly react to Bols' death all that much). Like I mentioned before there was that explicit scene, the only one where he was rude, where he clearly reacted to Wave being hurt at all, and he saved Kurome during that anti-Wild Hunt mission several times, e.g. against Champ, flying away from the Wild Hunt and Night Raid, etc. He could have left her behind, even if temporarily--she did have her puppets and she had engaged Night Raid almost all by herself before--but he still took the injuries and ultimately did die. But it shows to me that Run was a very loyal person at heart if nothing else.

Gay-Lussac's name is actually pronounced like "G[hard g sound]ee-luu-sack", not "gay-lu-sack"
The first time my Chemistry class saw "Gay-Lussac" they started laughing and I was like pretending I didn't understand their weird sense of humor and going to myself, "Oh, he has a word that means happy in his surname, cool"
