The storyline didn't really impress me at all and it isn't like the most stellar original idea or anything so the only reason I could think of was that people just like ruining the part of their childhood that is Peppa Pig or smthn

Btw by the ceased to impress part, I get it's not a bad plotline or anything, it's just that the entire story is pretty predictable and stuff (I started watching a gamer play it from like Chapter 6 and I was able to guess both backwards and forwards) and there just aren't as many appealing components? I can see how gameplay could be interesting, though personally I do not like horror games so it wouldn't matter (hi lol I get headaches from playing Minecraft Lite [this was like 6 years ago or smthn]).
I even read the wiki pages after the gamer in question finished the series and achieved the true ending or smthn?
Anyways my most viable guess is that some people in quarantine are seeking for thrill and maybe that comes in the way of the horror genre. Personally there is enough Horror going on in the world rn so no thank you
(And also my mom's computer randomly blares at 100 volume lol so I can see like the Piggy Scream jumpscare suddenly blaring at 100 and then I'll be like 'hi guys lol I just became deaf, it's a long story' while crying IRL

I'm not a fan of horror games really though I do find some to be interesting. It won't erase the fact that I think Piggy looks really weird with Peppa Pig and idk what else on the cover lol.
And yes I can confirm that it is possible to look for thrill by checking out the horror genre. I've tried it before and tbh it didn't really work for me but lol.

There are some very interesting skins. Unfortunately the demon one periodically pops up when I'm visualizing Akuma and the angel one periodically does so when I'm thinking Hitan (thank the gods Tsukiakari isn't very thought about on my end) so yeah I blame Piggy for that
I also feel like the animations for the game are kinda jarring. I've been spoiled by actual anime xD.
I have never done so. Then again I have a dislike of the horror genre because a certain bastard forced me to watch people get shot dead in dark indoor parking lots when I was 3. So yeah I also have a nice trauma of indoor parking lots. I have and probably still will cry when my mom voices considerations of going into an indoor parking lot if we'll need to get back in the car by night.
Happy new Galaxian fact of the day, they're scared of indoor parking lots as a phobia and am very aware it's a ridiculous fear but it's there
