Caligo at least seem somewhat invested in the different cheese making techniques but Aestus is bored out of his mind, well,(0 he is not walking and he currently don’t need to watch over his own gremlin…he can take a nap right?

Meanwhile in between a pause after yet another cheese technique Caligo asked "we’ve hear of this Icarus guy before, but who is he? And why do people keep mentioning him when talking to us!"

"Oh don’t worry I fell from the moon a few times and only snapped my neck!" Caligo said it so casually, Aestus seem a little uncomfortable but seem to quickly brush it off to eat the fruit stuck on Cal’s horn.

(As long as the sun and moon in their world live, they cannot die, and that mean they can get stabbed and even decapitated and be juuuuuust fine, it’s not simple to kill a god after all)

"We have small legs! And I haven’t figured out how to control what size i end up as…you didn’t figure it out did you Ast?" Aestus shakes his head no, accidentally shaking Cal a little too.
"No wha to get there faster is there?" Caligo secretly hope there is not, the longer they can avoid getting there the better, but maybe they should just rip the bandage off.

Aestus was glaring daggers into Agni’s soul "one. He was always a bird. Two. Make that pun again and I will make you a new ass" Caligo look just as pissed if not more

The stress might have gotten to them both. Since one moment they were standing there, and the next there was two little critters in their place.

Aestus as a medium dog size ball of feathers, and Caligo as a scrunkly cat sized dragon, they still look stressed but at least they are adorable now

"I guess he did why?" Caligo answered, confused "he froze the whole city just to get our attention" Aestus said deadpan "oh yeah! Even tried to freeze crimson too, quite rude if you ask me" the smaller god replied

They waved at the two before following Agni out of the inn.

"You know" Caligo adresss Agni once they caught up to him outside "Catalyst could probably hurt us if he tried" Aestus looked confused at that

"To where?" Aestus asked, Caligo wiggling in his grip, unsuccessfully in his escape attempt.

Both gods startled quite badly at the sudden telepathic communication, so much so that Caligo accidentally head butted Aestus, ouch. "what the hell was that?!" Aestus exclaimed "I’m sorry-" Caligo started before being interrupted "not you!" Aestus picked up Cal by the waist and rushed back to the others with his moon under the arm.

"Thank you, I will be more mindful in the future" Aestus thanked them one more time, before suddenly looking alert, his pupils narrowing into slits "do you smell blood?"

"I didn’t bite that hard! And it’s not the first and it certainly won’t be the last time I do this" he exclaimed, removing both the handkerchief and his gloves, once the former had nearly fully soaked all the blood, to check his own bite mark, before licking it clean "hm. I should  probably ask my sun to burn it close…" he said more to himself than Eli.

(It’s almost 6 pm am not going to sleep!)

"Oh! I- thanks you. I had no idea, this is more for comfort than anything" he open his wings slightly for emphasis " even in our own world I struggle to keep up with the change in cultures…" he admitted, a little embarrassed

He finally let go of his arm, as expected he bleed, silver blood soaking the fabric of his gloves "you mean with magic?" Caligo created a few large food trays, they glow from the magic for a second, as does he blood, before settling into solid objects

Aestus only sighed, wrapping his wings and his tail around himself

"They look great!" Cal had to resist the sudden urge to bite the mugs, he failed, but managed to only bite his own arm instead thankfully.
