Re: [@Specter] (Cue more threads Galaxian won't respond to on time)

Unfortunately he's kind of just going to continue to half-sit on her. At least he's not too heavy.
Unfortunately, it also doesn't look like the A.A. has turned around or wishes to do so anytime soon. So uh, yeah.
At some point, the Mamba does open his candy and chew on it.

"C-candy!"
The Cheetah resumed her moving around, mostly useless by then probably. Her face flushed a bit from the effort maybe.

Re: [@Specter] (Cue more threads Galaxian won't respond to on time)

The Mamba just plops down further and doesn't move.
This would look very weird for a bystander, the narrator is beginning to realize as they visualize this more and more in their mind.

Re: [@Specter] (Cue more threads Galaxian won't respond to on time)

Good thing there's no bystanders, right?

Finally, she gave up and sprawled on the ground.
At least her body is strong enough to resist the Mamba's weight and not get crushed or something lol.

Re: [@Specter] (Cue more threads Galaxian won't respond to on time)

Coming? the A.A.'s telepathic voice comes eventually, very drily. The voice itself has absolutely nothing special about it, not even an echo-y quality some report to get with telepathic voices.

The Cheetah sat up and then stood fully. She brushed her clothes quickly before looking in the direction the A.A. had gone.

Re: [@Specter] (Cue more threads Galaxian won't respond to on time)

The A.A. is out of sight, literally and literally. They're not visible and they're very far away.
"Aww, they ditched us," the Mamba complains but takes off running anyways.

"bEt," the Mamba shouts.

In any case, at some point they actually overtake the A.A., but they just keep going.

Not like the Cheetah cares a lot, but if she were actually a bit more concentrated she might have a bit of reason.

Wrong way, the A.A. informs them. 3 minutes after they've gone the wrong way, of course--as in, they didn't take a turn when they were supposed to.

Back. Right, the A.A. instructs, but the Mamba took off before they finished.

At least this time she had a bit more sense and waited to hear the instructions. Then she was off in an instant.

So is the Mamba, just in reverse.
Stop, says the A.A. as soon as the pair barrels past them.

Re: [@Specter] (Cue more threads Galaxian won't respond to on time)

Sadly, the narrator can't say the same for the Mamba, who continues running and mostly just flops on his stomach on the ground.
He doesn't think it hurts a lot, though (even though it probably did). He just points at a point in the ground. "You didn't cross the finish line!" he exclaims to the Cheetah.
