Today will be the hardest day of my finals week

Because it has MATH. I think math is my weakest subject, and also rn is my lowest grade. It's currently teetering between an An "A" and a "B" so this test will be the deciding factor, which is quite unfortunate but not as has as having a set "B"

I studied a lot last night and had a full nights rest so hopefully it pays off

Well yeah let's see if it pays off.

Anyways let me talk about some stuff I'm quite proud of when it comes to fun and games rather than school and extracurriculars.

So I've recently gotten into more traditional fighting games, and only started last year around my b-day. A friend got me into it.

I currently only play one, but the franchise is called Guilty Gear, and I play the most recent installment of the series. If  you have Discord you mightve seen me playing it a few times.

Anyways, my ranking within the game is normally "Floor 9" out of 11 floors. With calculating skill jumps between floors and the floor populations, my ranking essentially translates to "kinda ok at the game I think".

Someone can quickly rise and fall between these floors based off of how many times in a row they win/lose.

But I think something possessed me today, because I did nothing but beat the snot out of people. So much that in fact just a little bit after I got on, I was promoted to floor 10.

Now floor 10 is a really scary place. It's filled with people around the same level as me, but also filled with the best of the best at times, since the in 11th floor kicks almost everybody out every month, and one must pass a test to gain access to it once more, which involves beating lots of people on floor 10, and a few floor 11 inhabitants.

I was on a roll, and that momentum and whatever great power within me led to me being quite successful on floor 10. I was mopping the floor with some of these people, some of them being WAY higher level than me. While I did lose, it wasn't enough to demote me, and I kept on winning! On floor 10! As normally a floor 9 player! That's quite a big deal, as the jump from floor 9 to 10 is quite large. In fact, I was never demoted (yet)! As I am writing this I'm still on floor 10!

OH! I also spotted a pro player in the lobby I was in!

He decked me, but I was able to take 1 round off of him! And I'm proud of that. Even if possibly he was just autopiloting idk.

At least he gave me feedback lol

Yeah, sometimes it's stressful, but being promoted or demoted happens so often that it's best to not think about it, and just focus more on learning new tactics and stuff.

Yeah. I didn't expect to like it. It's just with those types of games you've got to expect to lose a lot, and I mean a LOT

Also I heard online Smash Bros online connections is pretty bad.

There're terrible lol but playing it with my god-like cousin is pretty fun when i see him

So, I wanted to get some official merch for Strive, the game I was talking about before. The only thing I wanted on the store sold out on the first day of release.

Along with plenty of other things is also sold out, but that doesn't matter, because what I wanted was sold out! On the first day!

I was literally checking the store all day. And all day the new releases weren't out.

Then when I had actual time to sit down and buy it it was sold out.

Yeah. Well let's hope if they ever do a second drop they prepare more and I can get there on time.

You know as far as I'm aware. The item I want has been on sale only twice. Once here, and once at a convention. Both times they sold out in an instant
