He nods. He understands; sometimes he doesn't understand it himself. He still can't even say he understands it. Putting away the dice, he takes out what appears to be a plant seed.
"So, applying the concept of 'growth' onto this," he says, putting it onto his lap or just a convenient semi-flat surface nearby and applying his abilities, this time with a semi-green aura around his hands, "will make it do this..."
The seed starts to sprout. No, it doesn't have soil and water around it. It just kind of does.
"Of course," he explains as it grows a bit more, holding it in his hand lightly so it doesn't topple over, "I wouldn't think that you're hiring me to roll dice or grow plants, but hopefully it constitutes as an example of sorts?"

The seed is no longer growing; it's likely that Nagesh stopped applying magic to it, perhaps so he can replant. He's still supporting it with one hand. It doesn't feel to be any different from any other seed.
"I'm glad to hear that," he says to Rune with his easygoing smile. "Thank you."

Luna closed her eyes, creating what could be best described as a smile, though truthfully cats can make fairly convincing faces that look like smiling.

It's curious to Nagesh about how Rune used "people", since "people" means "humans" and Luna's current form is not a human. But he takes it in stride easily. "It's a pleasure to meet you both. My name is Nagesh or Nageshu; you may use whichever one you prefer, or both, if that's what you wish to do." He seems to have noticed he never really introduced himself formally (in his defense, there wasn't an interview form), so yeah, he's doing that now.

Allen had been aware that there was a newcomer at Rune's but he had kept his distance for a while. After all, he didn't want to interfere with the goddess's work relationships.
He was outside the room, and noticing Luna's reentry made him decide to show up as well. Allen entered the room in his completely human appearance.
"Good day," he greeted politely, looking around the room with a pleasant smile.

Nagesh hadn't been expecting Luna to go out immediately. He'd almost worried about him having offended her with an introduction or such, but he took it in stride. Then he was surprised again when not only Luna but also Allen entered the room. He managed to take that in stride as well, giving a light laugh and a smile to the cat shapeshifter. "Whoops. A pleasure to meet you three."

Allen does a light bow as a greeting out of habit. "Pleased to meet you, Nagesh," he said while trying his best to not sound too informal. "I'm Allen. Glad to hear you miht be staying in this nice place for some time."

Nagesh stands up if he hadn't been standing up already, doing a like gesture--bowing, that is. It's not such a deep bow, so once the straightening up motion is complete, he responds, "Thank you. The pleasure's all mine."

Nagesh seems to note her uncomfortableness with formality, so he just offers the cat shapeshifter a sincere smile instead of a more formal greeting.
"That's nice," he says to Rune. Then he asks Allen and Luna, "Do you two have jobs here?"
