Not really apart of the Jojos community, but I feel like I every now and then hear ideas of exploring some younger characters when they're older and have stands and stuff. Like, I feel Shizuka Joestar was a waste of what could have been some epic potential.
Bro I totally agree, it would have been so epic to see or even have a mention of Shizuka in pt. 6 (because part 5 was all about Giorno, not so much of the Joestar stuff huh), she would've been a cool child to add into the family.
Also I know if Kakyoin had been in Morioh in pt 4 he would've freaked out over the baby stand I juts know it XD

Sometimes I think about how all the stuff I'm learning in classes rn is just pure theory and that someday I'll have to apply it and learn how the real world works (or doesn't) with that theory and hmm

Oh yeah I know people be coping w/ Kakyoin's donut death by hypothesizing him in part 4.
But actually it does make me wonder... does the Speedwagon Foundation have any other stand user contacts besides Jotaro? Like, they probably could have used them during Part 6. Like, it would be kinda sad if Iggy was just their only stand user. I think that would have also been a cool area to explore.
Though, to me it really looks like they play an extremely supportive role w/ research and that sort of stuff only.

Achilles's costume in the current F/GO event is making me think of Pokemon it's so silly xD
Also I got him in two multis! I guess it's true that you get more when you're not expecting anything lol (I wanted CEs).
Now I want his costume just because it's so funny
Also Mandricardo's costume but I haven't unlocked the shop yet

Man don't call me out like that 😭😭😭 xD but don't tell me he wouldn't have been a great addition to thw whole mystery thing considering he's a nerd. Plus he didn't deserve to die just like that considering that other characters were able to figure out what time stop was without a sacrifice that big like man 😭
Starting to think that JJBA as a whole is sponsored by Dunkin Donuts huh
I like to believe they did, because if they only had normal humans, even scientists and brave people just would not stand a chance against Stand users (thinking about the helicopter guys in Pt. 3). I wish there had been more info on the Speedwagon Foundation ngl. I once saw a comment that said it was sorta like SCP. What do you think?
But I was more disappointed by the lack of Giorno in pt. 6 tbh.
Offline
whew, I think that one was a bit of a long response. Onto the next topic.Well... I suppose Speedwagon Foundation and SCP are similar in that they're just regular humans dealing with beings that are far above their pay grade, I'd say the difference lies in:
In the SCP universe, while there are other factions, SCP is the primary group that focuses in defending humanity from anomalies, while in Jojos, the Speedwagon Foundation can rely on the Joestar Family and ally stand users. SCP doesn't have an anomalous being to help them (in most cases) in their mission, so they end up having to develop ways to combat or deal with danger. The Speedwagon Foundation however, does, so they can take a more scientific and containment role than a combat one.
I would say it's worth mentioning we simply don't know enough about the SPW's stories and tales to get an entire full picture on them since the spotlight was never really focused on them. Who knows if there's normal people fighting stand users?
Oh, I'd also say a key difference that when it comes to morality and tone of universe, SCP is a much more morally grey organization doing things for "the greater good", while objectively SPW is a morally good organization, since SPW is non-profit(?) organization that works in medical research and environmental conservation that also assists a family that is known for combatting extreme evil.
Yeah. I feel that one too. I'm sure loads of people feel that one. You can't just introduce one of the most powerful abilities in the universe only to have it sequestered to one part. I think they did good with Jotaro appearing in all the sequential parts, as it showcases his powerful ability effecting the world (joke intended), but the lack of Giorno's influence in part 6 is kinda weird.

Sorry for the late reply oop
Yk that's true, I really did forget that the Speedwagon Foundation is more oriented towards scientific research.
Thinking more about it... I think it'd be kinda cool if there had been a spinoff centered around the Foundation and the different Stand-related stuff it looks into. Maybe introduce mintor characters and stuff. I mean, Rohan got his own spinoff, so... (though I believe it's because he's Araki's self-insert hahah)
If Giorno was in pt. 6 he could've saved everyone change my mind
And for someone I originally didn't like in pt. 3, Jotaro eventually grew on me, he really needed that character development (aka trauma)

Well yeah that's why he wasn't in the part lol. I guess Araki wanted to really do a universe reset or something. I suppose there are better theories and ideas as to why, but I wouldn't really know about it.
A spinoff on non-stand users would have been cool though. Maybe.
Also looks like you started part 7, yes?

I've finished part 7 and really enjoyed it. I started pt 8 but I haven't progressed in a very long while. Although ngl as much as pt 7 was amazing and a really good read overall I was very uncomfortable bc of some stuff (*cough* Lucy Steel *cough*)
But the story was something I really liked, it felt very dynamic and I had a hard time putting down the story.

On another hand I downloaded the Sims and it's been quite fun
I tried to do some of my characters and it's so funny to see the game go in ways you don't expect entirely
Although Germaine's house is filled with plants so that's accurate at least.
Eventually I hope to make new sims that aren't my preexisting characters because I now understand the game a bit better. It's way too entertaining.

As to the sims, I've never played it myself, but I have seen all sorts of funny things come from itI've decided to start reading it myself since so many say that it's has the best story best overall.
I have a general idea of what happens concerning her, but I feel that those scenes are meant to make you feel uncomfortable. You know?

Haha nice
the Sims is a trip
which one is it? I assume Sims 4?

Yes Sims 4 although I've heard it's DLC simulator and honestly why doesn't it have weather and pets and stuff but the game by itself is really entertaining.
My biggest takeaway from my simming experience is
I feel like a sim.

Literally all my Dion sim does is sit at his computer all day. And eat but he'll take his food to his room. And I mean that's okay because his skills can only be gained by being at his computer but gameplay-wise it's not that fun to just watch him type or play.
And somehow when I got him his computer I left him unsupervised for a while and he gained a liking for the "Troll teh Forums" activity and now he's leveling up a skill in comedy I never meant for him to have and that's so so funny but at the same time it's kinda not funny that he'll go troll teh forums whenever I leave him for a while to tend to my other sims
But like my Germaine sim is more fun to play for example because I have to actively help her tend to her plants and also she adopted two kids (one of which often invites classmates over) so it's a lot more fun to juggle things around.
I shouldn't complain about my Dion sim tbh since that's my daily routine too,,,sitting at the computer for hours with a few breaks in between.
Offline
Also one of my sims actually has a SOCIAL LIFE which the Dion sim definitely does not have and my Germaine sim only has time for social life with her daughter's friends
Ngl tho it's kinda interesting how I've learned to plan out the day activities sorta so that I can fit in the skill leveling and activities and interactions I want the sims to do. Because sim time flies. And I accidentally aged the Germaine sim directly to adult phase without letting her spend the young adult stage hasbdgjsgkhsdfskdjfg I have not yet figured out how to do birthdays without aging up my sims accidentally too much.
The fact that my sims are more productive in their daily lives than me,,,

"Blessed Messiah and the Tower of Ai" never fails to bring a tear to my eye :')
Although I vividly remember the first time I listened to it without knowing how the story would go,,, man what an experience.

That's quite the name. It certainty stands out.

I talked about it a couple years ago I believe, but it definitely stands out as a sort of story title thing. Which makes sense considering that this is a song that you'd check for story and not one you'd replay for music (probably).
Here's an English link in case you're interested and because I highly recommend it!
Also it was my first Vocaloid song that I listened to
Anyway I just can't stress how much I love it, giving it a rewatch is definitely worth it because once you know the story you can appreciate the art and the subtle details everywhere. One of my favorite things is seeing the Messiah breathing heavily in one part, I think it makes it so lifelike.
Oh and one more thing I like is how the music changes to match what is going on with the narrative. Seriously, the video is so good, give it a watch if you haven't yet.
Offline
yeah I looked into it already. I think it's nice that it tells a story. but you're also right in that for me, it's a song for the story.
Its cool that there's 10 distinct voices representing each of the characters. Is there 10 vocaloids for the original version?
Offline
Yeah! Each of the characters shown is represented by a Vocaloid too (you can probably recognize Miku) which is often a theme in Vocaloid story songs. The characters whill be physically similar to the Vocaloids because they have their voice or something.
