I thought it was canon that Dion renamed him to Vilhelm because he couldn't stand the thought of training a "Willy" xD

I honestly don't remember that but I've been thinking all along that the canon was that way so... I wouldn't mind making it officially canon

I keep saying that I have a soft spot for Irene (from Claymore not Arknights, I haven't seen enough of Arknights Irene to judge) but then not elaborating, so allow me to elaborate.
She's that mentor character who you don't even know the barebones backstory of. She's introduced as the former number 2 (demoted to number 3 because of Priscilla) who's to be an assassin of Teresa. It's a very disgraceful assassination at that--it literally is 4 of the top warriors going after a defected Number 1. The reason? The number one killed a bunch of bandits who tried to assault her and massacred an entire village, but the murder of humans is against Organization policy. Boohoo. yeah, that wasn't the actual reason.

So that's that. We don't know much about Irene, Sophia, or Noel. But we see that Irene, despite being a former number 2 Claymore, was afraid to die and feigned death while Sophia and Noel were killed by Priscilla. She then hid away from civilization for years, coming out only when she sensed Teresa's Yoki coming from Clare. 
Her character "arc" is simple--somewhere in those years, Irene reflected on the incident as well as her feelings toward Teresa, and she realized that she envied being loved and loving someone else, because she never really experienced that. And so, she saves Clare and lends her arm to Clare, even though doing so reveals her again to the Organization, even though she now has no way to defend herself against any assassin dispatched after her.
It's a very simple premise, but just through this, Irene becomes Clare's mentor figure, just like Teresa is Clare's mother figure. And just like how Clare has part of Teresa in her, so too does she have Irene's arm. And this time, Irene lives even though she was afraid to die. Unlike so many other warriors, she was able to witness the final happy ending. 

Idk, there's just something really touching about that. Teresa is always there somewhere inside of Clare's heart, watching her, but her form is no longer there. Irene is able to continue on in her place. Even if they might never be seen as human, even if they're always going to be warriors, they finally can get a chance to fully understand the love and humanity that they shared from the beginning. And it's symbolized by a multitude of things, but especially the fact that Irene has now regenerated her right arm. Even if it's just a regular human arm unable to use the Quicksword technique, it's more than enough to live a fulfilling life.

Actually I just love faux-cold characters. Bonus points for the 6' height and elf ears.

Dreamed that I was doing some kind of mission with Wiley (idk which world he was even from but he was relatively tolerable to be around and so I will accept it without further questions)
I love how Raez never ever hecking debuts for real. He appears for just enough time to do...whatever it is he needs to do. And then he just leaves. I remember Nothing about him other than that he talked with us briefly and maybe handed something to us. Classic Raez behavior.
The other funny part of it is that we had this dude with black hair who was with us the entire time helping us, and at the very end of the dream, I asked him for his name. He kinda just raised an eyebrow while Wiley said, "That's Rai, duh."
Bro is a shapeshifter, but still I must apologize he wasn't wearing a suit and was instead wearing tactical gear so that's why...probably

In retrospect it probably should've been obvious. Dude had an NPC face and clothing design and contributed to the mission in ways others do not notice. Ofc it had to be Rai (lol)

Got introduced to the super funny thought of forum!Rai teaching Galaxian that you need to try to get someone to sign a contract before beating them up to avoid possible sticky legal proceedings

Hitan, Rai, and Galaxian have a super funny dynamic that changes depending on their ages relative to each other (unlike the RRW Triad which kinda remains the same)
At the same time, it isn't all that different.
Anyway, this introduced me to the notion that teen Wiley would be lowkey scared of kid Rai which is pretty hecking funny

I think it's kinda neat how these guys are kinda in pairs. Like two Orpheuses, Dohko and Aldebaran (and Shion), Ikki and Saga...yeah.
