"Because he needs to stay as cool as possible.  The pants he's wearing have small holes that allow airflow better.  Once he really starts to get going, its going to get a bit hot in the chamber and you'll quite literally see flames dancing." Shard told them, clearly understanding the confusion on their face.  

"Yeah, he has very special clothes that can either trap his body heat or force it out.  Well, that's a tad lie, you can't force the head out, only allow it to pass quicker if that makes any sense.  But regardless of what you think, Crimson is one hell of a guy." Fang remarked and smiled, seeing Crimson again.  

Flare grabbed Crimson's ankle and tripped him.  While Crimson was falling, Flare took the opportunity to flip himself off the ground and hit one hell of a haymaker into Crimson's face.  Well, mask really.  The impact sent him tumbling into the dirt, kicking up a small cloud.  But not even a minute later, he recovered easily and lunged at Flare with a...stick made of ash?  Flare was yelling something at Crimson, probably calling that unfair or something.  But eventually Flare allowed it and Crimson tossed him his own ash-stick thing.   

"It's not often Crimson gets to spar.  He's usually limited because of the Limiter.  Even if we use different models for it, they all have a limitation for what Crimson can and can't do.  It's a somber sight to see him like this.  But we still welcome it with open arms...well, arm according to some of us." Infinity joked at the last part.  The room went silent as Crimson and Flare danced, clashing, sending ash around the circular chamber and just looking like they are having fun...albeit there is always a unsaid moment that anyone knows the truth behind this game.  

Like a spark and a flame, slowly the ashen sticks the two hold became like swords.  The clashing of steel harmoniously filled the chamber and even the observation room.  Crimson was playing highly aggressively.  The only way he could really right with one arm anyways.  It was rather a sight to see him push back and around Flare, quite amusing when he managed to knock him back and Crimson t-bagged on him or did a little dance.  His infectious personality was carried all through his actions.  It made everyone smile and laugh a bit.  

(He's a fun guy) 

"Dis-fucking-respecting the man." Agni responded.  Fang, Shard and Infinity were trying their hardest not to laugh their asses off.  Truly a spectacle that is.  Crimson looked at the observation room and gave a thumbs up before Flare tackled him.  

"Alright you two, that's enough play time.  You've warmed up well.  Let's get that new Limiter on you Crimson.  We've made a new model.  We're calling it Model: IMP, after the Giga Axe.  I'm going down right now to install it.  I have a few Blood Knights carrying the new model and the Black Box for installation.  And please, for the love of the Council, don't goof off.  Our guests are already fond of you enough.  Keep the mask on, and Veil up too.  See you soon." Aster voice came from an intercom somewhere in the room.  Crimson gave a thumbs up as he threw Flare into the air and round-house kicked him into the wall. 

"Everyone in the observation room: Shard, Infinity, Fang, Azure Aestus and Caligo.  The window will open momentarily.  Please come down." a mechanical voice said in the room as the window before them slid apart and began to form a staircase down.  

"YOU ASS!  DON'T PLAY DIRTY!" Flare said, dust himself off and threw a handful of dirt and ash at Crimson.  

Crimson himself shrugged and tossed himself onto the ground and began to twirl his thumbs.  A few of the Blood Knights and Aster came in, sending Crimson to the opposite end of the chamber in surprise and fear.  "Nuh uh." he said.  The Knights set down the Black Box and the case carrying the new Limiter.  

Shard and Fang walked over to Crimson and dragged him by his legs while Crimson screamed bloody murder like Aestus did about not wanting to do this.  

(o7 yes ma'am!)

"BUT I DON'T WANNAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Crimson screamed.  "STOP BEING A BABY COR!" Fang and Shard yelled back in unison.  Flare, Agni and Infinity all looked rather embarrassed and tried to avoid the gaze of others.  Aster grabbed Crimson's mask and slapped him with it.  "Get it together Kasani.  It's a new model.  If anything it'll benefit you further.  It's meant to be used as an addon with the Giga Axe and Ember.  Stop being a damn baby and get it over with." 

"It's really painful.  Like, realllyyyyyyyy painful.  The Black Box basically inserts a metal spike that wires the Forge Disk into his skin and nerves and locks it in place.  Not the funest of things..." Leonidas told Aestus.  

(Also, Cal's meds should be wearing off now.)

Caligo wakes to a rather few people trying to wrangle a adult man screaming like a pig.  Nothing out of the ordinary really.  

"It's...not good.  We share part of his pain to help him." 

(Valentines day is my guess.) 

Crimson stopped rather comically and looked at Caligo and gave a little salute saying "That's the name, don't wear it out."  before screaming and wriggling like a child again.  

"I swear this kid!" Infinity said and grabbed Crimson's face and bonked him on the head.  "Get it together Cor!  You're being a bitch again!" 

(Well you remember now!)

"Nope.  It's alright, we got this.  We do this all the time.  Nothing new for any of us." Infinity said cheerfully.  "Yeah, this is like another day for us at this point." Fang said, heaving Crimson to his feet.  Shard helped do the same.  "It's nothing us Inheritors can't handle at this point.  Afterall I am the only who makes this shit with Aster.  So I know what I'm doing." 

Aster, Leonidas and Azure opened the Black Box and put a rather odd looking arm in a small crevasse in the Box  From what you saw it was a nix between a matte and a shiny black color with horizontal lines going from the top of the shoulder to the wrist, each inlaid in a ruby paint.  Crimson stopped squirming and stood up himself and looked at the Black Box.  "Why can't I use my regular model?  What's wrong with that?  I get that ever new model is an improvement, but why change this into an IMP?" he asked Aster, who in turn just shrugged.  "Inactive Mode: Power for those who didn't know.  It's meant for travel and high capacity fights.  A few weeks ago, Praxis sent us a message asking for some help regarding Malicore and some other people...." he answered.  Crimson sounded rather annoyed.  "That's what the other Council members are for?" 

"None of us are at liberty to say.  That's a matter for Crimson and Crimson alone.  If you want the best source, go to him...after this..." Aster responded to the open-air question, seeing no one wanted to answer.  "And Caligo, don't eat the godforsaken ash." 

(It's a mixture of dirt, ash and some soot off the wall.  It looks more like ash than anything.  So calling it ash is fine.)

The room went eerily silent and only the mechanical whirling and clanking of the Black Box filled it's void.  Crimson touched it with his only arm and sighed.  "Inheritors, heed my call and share my pain.  Let us start this cycle anew." he said, each of the Inheritors, Fang, Infinity, Shard, Azure and Flare stepped forward and made a circle around the Box with Aster and Leonidas.  "Thy will be done 'O Kyng." each responded in a single tone.   

A small opening, only really visible due to the 4 small trapezoid shapes parallel to one another dully shown in the light of the Chamber.  Crimson instinctively put his arm over his non-existent right shoulder and quickly move it back to his side.  Now that you have a better look of things.  You can tell, partly out of shock and small bits of horror, what Crimson has been though.  Crimson dark brown hair was a mess.  Not only clearly unwashed, but it was bloody in some places.  And this wasn't helped by the face by how long it was, going down to the top of his shoulders, clearly in a attempt of a wolf cut, but not done all too well.  Both the back and front of his body was covered in scars, both cutlines or small holes where IV were inserted and taken out over the years.  But the area around his heart and his arm suffered the worst of it.  Around his heart, some of his veins were burned black, forming an odd-almost pattern-like shape around the area.  Around his left arm too, parts of the veins were all shot black, leading up to his left breast.  Around his neck was a necklace fashioned into a claw, and if you were knowledgeable in the beasts of Arithnia, it was a wolfs.  The necklace, or rather the claw likely came from Fang when she was younger and but a pup.  Together with that, on his left middle finger is a ornate and beautifully decorated silver ring, patterns of a phoenix, wolf, dagger, dragon and a knight are wound into it's designs of simplicity.  In the center of this band is a ruby with a small engraving of a simple wolf head into it.  You cannot see from behind his mask.  But his eyes are heterochromatic in nature.  With a brilliant green left eye and a signature deep crimson right one.  His left carries a slight yellow tint while his right has a barely-noticed purple.  Over his right eye is a deep scar running at a estimated 60 degrees.  This scar spans from the top of his eyebrow to the top of his cheekbone.  His body is muscular, toned enough to know that he clearly gets his movements in and takes a hell of a pride in keeping it that way.  However, in some areas, mostly around his stomach, there still remains bits of chub to it.  The area around Crimson's right arm...or where it was, is slightly black around the edges and is clearly stained in blood that dripped down the right side of his body, from wounds reopening.  This blood is a red-orange color, but also has a slight brown to it.  Rusted blood clearly.  IF you were to look more closely, you can see, once more, some hints of hanging dead nerves, small holes and a larger one, as said before, where his Limiter connects and weaves through his body.  But despite all this, a man like Crimson remains cheerful and full of life.  The pants he wears are no more simple than black everyday jeans.  Torn in some places, yes, but otherwise in one piece.  No shoes, socks or any upper-body clothing was present on this man currently.  

Crimson put what was left of his arm into the area where the trapezoids are and deeply sighed.  "Of Blood, Ash, Ember and Spark...let a Limit be formed." he whispered to himself.

Pain.  That's all you heard.  It wasn't as intense as you think, but it felt...wrong.  You could bear it, you didn't feel it, but hearing it.  It brings a somber and horrid thought.  How can a man sacrifice so much, and get gain so little?  You ponder deeply, watching Crimson and the Inheritors, as well as Aster and Leonidas struggle to keep themselves standing as their voices fill the Chamber and echo...

"This is the price for power.  Pain.  To go against the Order of what is set by God himself requires a pain like no other." A voice rang in your heads.  "Step by step you will see that pain.  But may you never feel it". it said and vanished from you.  

A final cry rang out from Crimson himself and he lifted the Black Box high into the air and smashed it into the ground, sending it into cubie pieces that vanished the instant they separated.  A blue flame coats his right arm, which shifts to white and then finally a deep red, crimson even.  Before the crimson color could even have time to fade, he clapped his hands together, Sending a rather harmonic boom through the chamber as a brilliant white light and thus the famous X was branded onto his mechanical right shoulder.  The Mark of a Rebel, right where it should be.  The sound was silent immediately after this.  Crimson appeared to be a flame burning bright, a silent one at this.  His own personal Hanai.  He stood remarkably still and a certain radiance came from him.  

Anddddddddddddddd he just fell to the ground, snoring.  Yep.  Dead asleep he goes.

"uoubish" Crimson said, raising his head before falling asleep again.  Again, what is with this guy?!  

"He said you wish." Flare told them, picking himself up a bit.  

"He'll be fine.  He just needs to rest.  I know he does it a lot, but if anything the best state for him to be in is in a bed.  Scale Rust spreads faster the more he moves." 

(FRENCH KEYBOARD FOUND!!!!!)

"The kid'll be fine.  He'll wake up in a few hours.  It's not like he's dead.  Besides it gives his body time to heal and get used to the new Forge Disk and Limiter model." Infinity said, patting Caligo on the head.  

Fang helped Shard steady herself while everyone just...sat down on the ground to take a breath.  Shard thanked Fang and faced Aestus.  Her purple eyes shove with excitement.  Even more was her long and sily hair which she fashioned into a pony tail, the only way she really knew how to keep her hair out of her face without a hat.  Now that it's easier to see with a still-glowing arm from Crimson.  She wore a rather simple and un-exciting blacksmith outfit.  Fit with leather apron, a small tool belt and tools in the pockets and a cotton shirt with rolled up sleeves and leather arm bracers.  Though one notable thing on her were three vials of what looked to be blood.  "So uh, do you guys......maybe...make weapons out of nothing or even ash like Crimson?!"
